Knowledgeable staff, a variety of options for my personal reason to visit (I used this shop to find ways to step down in my nicotine intake), and better prices for what I need than I've found around the area. I might be biased because I prefer for places I visit regularly to be easily accessible along the bus line- but for how long I've gone to this place and how consistently they've been the same amount of useful and accommodating I would never give them less than 5 stars. read more

I go there maybe 4-6 times per year. Usually during my work hours and I'm always dressed in my typical Hawaii business attire. I get a kick out of seeing sketchy looking dudes come in and out and the employee guy is always super friendly and actually quite chatty with these guys. So I know they're regulars. And then when it's my turn to get helped he becomes super poker faced, no smile, no unnecessary conversation. But anyways, service is actually very good. I've only dealt with two workers and both are very knowledgeable and pleasant. Inventory is pretty extensive. They have a lot of "stuff". Parking hasn't ever been a problem for me. Usually I park right in front at the metered stalls. I would highly recommend this place. If you wanna get in and out real quick or have questions these guys will certainly help you out. read more

I don't smoke or anything but came here for one thing, cbd cream. I started using it on my ankles and knees which were aching after yoga. I do yoga at least 3-4 times a week and it was putting a beating on my joints. All you do is rub it on and it has made it so much better! I have no problem doing yoga due to this. It is completely worth the price! There are other items for sale that I am not familiar with, but he has a very large selection of items. Parking is in the front of the store or in the back, entrance in the driveway prior to the store. Adrian provides excellent customer service! This is an amazing gem smoke shop right down the street from UH Mānoa. They offer a large variety of CBD products which I love. Being allergic to painkillers I found out that CBD's offers therapeutic pain relief without any psychoactive properties meaning I can take them and concentrate while working and driving with no side affects. For anybody that suffers from chronic pain such as migraines or arthritis I CBD's is a godsend. I can't speak highly enough of the staff here Adrian and Smoky. They are helpful without being overbearing and highly knowledgeable without pressuring you to buy anything. I've seen them answer tons of questions and some people didn't purchase anything and I know they will be back because they weren't pressured to buy anything they didn't need. There's so many great products in one place from Torch lighters to stash containers! Although their crowded they let u browse and answer questions while they know knout the customers that KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE THERE for. 2. They have EVERYTHING from rigs to pipes to papers to cigars to swag. 3. The prices are fair and competitive. Went here for our hookah set up for our Halloween party they were so helpful answered every question we had and made sure we were hooked up and all set to go on Halloween night. Sadly I broke the bowl after the first hookah sess and that night came to an end for our hookah. Went back and told them what happened they helped me find a better bowl, not only that gave me a free back up bowl Incase that happened again. Bit of a hole in the wall. Parking was fairly easy to find but I wasn't driving so I didn't concern myself with it. Space was not huge but they did have an enormous selection of various products. I browsed a few other stores on the island and they did not carry even half the products Choke Smoke sells. Customer service takes the cake though. I neglected to get the employee's name but she was extremely helpful. I'm a bit of a noob so I had a ton of questions, questions that were answered without hesitation (or any hint of annoyance, which I'm sure I was a tiny bit) and it was clear she had extensive knowledge about the products they sold. read more

Every time I come here the staff is always nice & friendly & occasionally they hook it up. I came in looking for rolling paper when a nice piece I saw caught my eye. The price tag of it was $35 but it was in the $20 section. The worker was happy to give me 20% off for it because it was in the wrong area. It's super quick and easy to talk too staff. I like the products that they sell. So here is my break down: 1. Parking - in front, off the street. I think you can park in the Kokua Market, but it's been easy to find street parking (metered). Remember to bring coins. Those that have bikes or mopeds - dont block the sidewalk, or you will get a ticket. 2. Staff - friendly and helpful! Never had an issue. 3. Products - interesting array to look at, but they are my go to for glass, vape juice, papers, novelty items, JUUL stuff, and all lighter fluid/lighter related items. Now comes my reason for 4 stars. 3 out of the 20+ times I have been there, i spent a hefty amount of money for their awesome lighters. -So on of my small scortch lighters, $12 overheats in your hand (yes I got burned). - Another I bought my friend an $18 lighter that we saw the store person test to light, but when I said "Yes," he grabbed another lighter of the same color stating "let's grab an unused one. I was flattered, but took it without double checking. My friend used the lighter as soon as we got home and the thing would not light. I took it back the next day and there is a sign that says "no refunds/exchanges on lighters." But I was just there the day before! They told me to call the company that makes it. - Spent $29 on the big lighters that are on the top, and wrapped (so testing it wasn't an option). As soon as I got home, the lighter worked for the entire duration of the existing lighter fluid that was inside. Then I filled it, it worked. The next time I filled after that, the thing would no longer light. I would light it up with another lighter. Again, I was told the same thing. It was like 2 days after I bought it. Overall, I understand from a business aspect. I thank the staff for being friendly. I know what it's like when you have to follow protocol. I always recommend this place to my friends. read more

Lots of "regular" incense, NO herbal incense... Super nice, knowledgeable staff! Wasn't too crowded when I went in so I had plenty of space and time to smell all the incenses! I have lived here just over a month now. This shop has been my go to every time I see small selection and extreme prices elsewhere. The staff has great knowledge on the current stock. They aren't afraid to ask questions to learn more or enemy order something for you. They aren't very big, but easily make up for it in quality. They have good quality AG, Smoke Accessories, Herbal and Nic Vape Mods, I would say easily above average E-Juice selection. They can't bend on prices much, but as I said before, all prices are pretty fair. Overall, this shop has quickly become 1 of my 2 favorites on the Island.
