I went with the bison burger and with the suggestion of my server opted for brussel sprouts instead of fries. Simply put, the food was flavorful. The bison of course fresh being in Montana. However, it was the brussel sprouts which took me by surprise. Cooked to perfection, along with the sweet & tangy sauce, they're a hit! Salute to Backcountry Burger for the good grub and vibes. Well, that didn't last long because I finally got my hands on them and they're so good! There are a few donut places in town but this sure stands out. Fried in beef tallow, these donuts fill your craving for a guilty pleasure without giving you that almost regrettable feeling after you eat them. They offer a nice variety of flavors but my stand outs have to be the original glazed, Nutella, and huckleberry. I thought I would really love the creme brulee but the cream inside had a strange sour tang to it that my palette did not enjoy.
