    Bobcat Special

Super small but delicious sandwich shop right on Montana State's campus. A perfect lunch spot after getting done with a hike. Super friendly workers and will make sure you get a sandwich customized just for your liking. Hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, sandwiches in a pickle - they have it all! Of course it's in the name so they'll gladly give you however many sides of pickles you want. I got the Bobcat special. I thought it was a slightly above average sandwich. Seating is all outdoors.

Whatever you do, consider ordering a half sandwich instead of a whole one--you really only need a little! I tried the downtown chicken, and it was packed with delicious barbecue sauce and lots of flavor. The seating area was outside the restaurant, and since it's the closest spot to campus, it was really convenient. The service was quick, attentive, and pleasant, making the whole experience even better.

Great food, always busy. This is the place to come if you want a good sandwich made big. Had multiple people tell me that I needed to try it since I was in Bozeman. Definitely a staple!

For a casual walk along, and "let's go in there" place, the food could not have been better without the fine restaurant costs. They are very willing to work with us about changing around ingredients a little bit and couldn't have been more pleasant. And the sandwiches are huge!! Eager to return next time I am back in Montana

Service was quick, staff was friendly enough. We came for the pickle pockets & they told us they were not doing them currently.. what a let down! We got two sandwiches & they were huge, also got pickles on the side. Very large amount of food so think about getting the smaller size! Lots of pickle decor! Food came quickly and the sandwiches were great, I would come back for the sandwiches for sure!

How about updating your hours so that people don't drive all the way here for a pickle sandwich?

I had the downtown chicken sandwich (half) it was excellent. The service was friendly and I will definitely be going back!

Great sandwich's they were out of the pickle sandwich option so that was a bummer but we tried the original cheese steak and the pepper steak. We preferred the paper steak but both were good. Our first time and we enjoyed it very much! Friendly and fast service and we sat outside which was nice.

Great food Great…read morevibes Good service This place can be girls night out, dude meet up, family gatherings or date night. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Come DT BZN and support local!

I wanted to take the chairs home with me. The whole place reminded me of downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. The Carne Frite was AMAZING. It's basically a piece of steak served with fries, but the steak was so flavorful I completely forgot about the fries. As a pizza connoisseur and meat lover, I also had to try the Carne Pizza. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely wasn't the worst either. The Montana Burger was really good, and the bacon was amazing. My only personal complaint: they serve Pepsi products and I'm a Coke girl through and through. Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend checking it out

Let me set the scene: family of four, Friday morning, stomachs growling like grizzlies waking up from hibernation. We put our name on the waitlist online (be still my efficiency-loving heart), strolled in, and were tucked into a comfortable high-top booth within minutes. No chaos, no scrambling, just a hostess perched on a step stool like a air traffic controller for pancakes, calmly directing her team to the next open table with the precision of a woman who has clearly mastered the Tetris of brunch seating. Now, the food. We ordered enough to feed a small army: eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cold smoked slab bacon, hash browns, and a breakfast burrito. Every. Single. Dish. Had its own personality. This isn't a "one good thing on the menu" situation, it's an entire lineup of overachievers. The homemade ketchup alone deserves its own fan club; it's the kind of ketchup that makes you side-eye every bottle you've ever used before, wondering how you settled for less. But here's the real magic: it wasn't just the food that blew us away, it was the machine behind it. Our server, Adrienne, was an absolute rockstar. Warm, fast, attentive, and somehow never missing a beat despite a packed house. She even carried a credit card terminal so we could pay right at the table, no waiting, no flagging someone down, just done. That's the kind of small detail that tells you a restaurant actually thinks about its guests' time. And the vibe among the staff? You could feel it. These aren't people clocking in and counting the minutes, they genuinely seem to enjoy being there, and it shows in every interaction. I watched one of the managers get approached by customer after customer, all gushing about their meal, and she just stood there soaking it in like she'd heard it a hundred times and still loved every second. I told her, half-joking, that if I had to find one thing to change about our visit, I'd have to come back just to find it, because nothing, and I mean nothing, was even close to off. Not the food, not the service, not the wait, not the vibe. Jam! isn't just a breakfast spot; it's a masterclass in how hospitality should work. Do yourself a favor: put your name on that waitlist, grab a booth, and prepare to have your brunch expectations completely recalibrated.

We discovered Mavens Market because we were in search of brunch and the favorable reviews on Yelp brought us here. The four of us each ordered their own breakfast item. * Eggs & Ham $13 * Greek Goddess $13 * Avocado & Tomato Toast $13 x 2 First off, the bread they use for the sandwiches is so good and they do a superb job getting such a great toast on it. I tried both the Eggs & Ham and the Greek Goddess and they were both very tasty. (Each of my kids had their own Avocado & Tomato Toast, and they were not sharing nor did they have any leftovers.) It does take a little while for the sandwiches to be made, so don't come here if you're in a rush. (They also have a steady line up of orders coming in for pick up, so just be aware.) The great thing it that it gives you a chance to check out their cheese shop. We actually returned a few hours later to grab some lunch and got a couple of different sandwiches this time. *The Full Maven $13 *Grilled Mozzarella Panini $13 Again, both sandwiches were really good and traveled well. I actually saved half and reheated it on the pan the next day. It was still very good. The cheese shop next door is adorable. I love wandering through shops like these and would probably visit often if I lived in town. Since we were flying out in a few hours, I had to resist purchasing anything since we only brought carry-ons. I was very tempted though! But you can easily find anything and everything you would want for a charcuterie board, night out, picnic, etc. I could have easily filled a whole basket of yumminess to enjoy.
