It truly doesn't get any better than this! I mean, I felt a little underdressed although I wore…read morenice capris and blouse. Kidding, because my friend and I were treated as if we were royalty, wearing nothing but the finest of finery. We were there just before noon on a Tuesday, not the busiest lunch of the day in every restaurant I know. But this place is enormous, so I imagine they could have accommodated two very easily, regardless. Everything was absolutely spotless, gleaming and shining - there are photos of dining there, but even in daylight, it had a beauty seen in the finest restaurants. The service was absolutely perfection - as a former wait person, I'm picky ;) Richard was there when we needed anything and left us alone to gab when we didn't. And of course, the food. The FOOD! Seriously, best Greek food I've had in years and years. I chose the lunch gyro pita, which was overflowing with tender, perfectly spiced gyro meat, with just the right balance of tomatos, onions and feta cheese. Coulda been more tzatziki but I am kind of an addict to that stuff, so it was probably just the right amount. ;) I also ordered the fasolakia (green beans simmered in tomato sauce, but that doesn't begin to explain the complex mix of flavors and textures!) So delicious, with the beans still crispy tender, and a hint of cinnamon which I dont' recall having in this dish before. It was amazing! They serve every platter, sandwich and pita with a very hefty serving of giant steak fries. They had a nice seasoning but were more like house fries. In other places, "Greek fries" had a drizzle of oil and crumbled feta so I wasn't expecting these. But yum! Good enough to bring some home, because the air fryer will make them terrific again. In all, I was so delighted and really wish this wasn't such an out of the way place from home. I definitely will come back, despite that, because there are so many dishes I want to try. As others mentioned, lots of free parking but here's a quick word of caution if you use GPS to get here. When you exit from MD100 onto Executive Park, it will tell you to take the first left but DON'T DO IT! That's the M&T Bank parking lot. Go just a tad bit farther and don't be surprised by having to look a little because it's so like a business park.

I would say this is more of a 3.5, rather than a 4 star review, continue reading ... The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out, with blue lights throughout. We loved that! We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!

For a couple of months my friend, who is of Turkish heritage and lives out in Germantown, wanted to meet me closer to my home to go to Cazbar. We went on Saturday, 9/6/25 for lunch (lunch prices are better as why I shot for lunch time). We walked in, and it was fancy Middle Eastern decor. Server was nice & efficient answering questions. I got their take on flatbread pizza called Lamb Pide. Wow, the lamb and pizza as a whole was amazing. My friend got some more expensive platter, which looked good. If I came back, I'd maybe get something like what he got. My friend (& me to a lesser extent) were cogitating on getting a dessert. I think me saying we ate a lot, it's extra calories, & prices are pretty high for dessert, ended up swaying him not to get dessert. Plus, there was a Greek festival and might get a baklava or other dessert there, which I did. Overall, my impression was wow, this place is impression, and I want to go with my girlfriend one of these days, maybe on a weekend before a movie at AMC Columbia or something.

The only thing is that it was super loud and the belly dancing lasted approx 30 mins so if you make a resy during the allotted time you can easily miss it like we did. I would definitely give it another shot, arriving on time!
