I can't believe I haven't been coming here sooner! Everything is made fresh with high quality ingredients. When I placed my order, they asked me so many preferences like how cooked do I want the kabobs, what kind of bread do I want, how much rice/salad do I want, do I prefer roasted tomatoes or roasted veggies, and so on. This showed me everything is made right then and there and that the staff cares- I could customize my order exactly to my liking. I shared the combo #3 kabob platter which consists of chicken and koobideh kabob. The food arrived within 10-15 minutes. It was more than enough food to share between two people. The food was delicious and fresh with a big portion! I appreciate that since many other kabob places I know skimp on the salad, chutneys, or other sides. Boro Kebab is a cute & clean place, convenient from major highways, and the food is delicious! It is tucked into the corner of the little strip mall. We both ordered the chicken kebab platter, with 1/2 rice and 1/2 salad. The salads came out first, and they were a generous size. The chicken kebabs were perfect--tender and juicy. This restaurant gets 10 stars from me. The customer service was absolutely amazing! Once i walked in i was immediately greeted with a friendly hello from a young lady that was cleaning up the sit down area. The manager Sanat Gayana who was on the phone when I walked in was so sweet. Once she hung up she came over to greet me and gave me the run down of the restaurant, and the different daily specials. She convinced me to download the app by saying I would get a discount. Everyone loves a discount lol. The app is very easy to navigate. She even gave me free hummus and offered me bottle water while I waited for my food. I ordered the chicken and salmon combo with half rice, half Greek salad. Baby the portions are huge. It's easily dinner for two days. The meats were fresh and seasoned and cooked to perfection. DD ordered through DoorDash last night, so I can't speak to parking, etc. But the food - chef's kiss! I have been wanting gyro for a while now, and opted for the platter rather than the wrap. I seldom eat all the pita; it's just too "bready" and filling for me. The one downside to the platter is, you just get the meat and 3 pitas, plus a small container of Masto-Khiyar (tzatziki or cucumber yogurt sauce), and none of the salad that goes inside a typical wrap. DD thoughtfully ordered a salad for me, though, which looked luscious. I haven't tried it yet because I was too stuffed from everything else! DD ordered Ash Reshteh, which is a Persian noodle and bean soup, plus Torsh Kabob, "Marinated chunks of beef tenderloin brushed with pomegranate, walnut, and garlic sauce". This came with a half small, roasted plum tomato and some red onion segments. She got some fries with feta cheese crumbles (not quite enough of those) that came with a little container of garlic sauce. This was good because the fries didn't have much garlicky flavor otherwise. She scooped most of the onion and sauce onto the fries, then we speared a few and dipped into the garlic sauce ... delish! She also got a slice of Baklava Cheesecake. "Made with a phyllo dough and pistachio crust, this creamy, honeyed baklava cheesecake incorporates the best of both desserts." I also haven't tried this yet, but DD said it was ... tasty, but an odd combination of textures that she couldn't quite like that much. It was definitely hard to not overeat because everything was amazing, even after traveling to get to us. I want to say a specific thing about the gyro meat: it was greasy. Now, I didn't notice it at all last night while it was fresh, but I reheated the 2nd half for lunch today and there was a lot. This may be really off-putting to some, so if it is, it might be best to go with the wrap. However, I am actually pleased with it and here's why: I easily drained it off after reheating, but it meant the meat itself wasn't dry after microwaving it. They sell bottled sauces and it's actually not that far from home, so I plan to take my friend in September (and maybe DD too, for her birthday!) and enjoy it in the restaurant. read more

I was looking for a Persian restaurant and since this is the only one in our area, I decided to try. I am Persian and know what is quality Persian food. I ordered Fesenjan and rice. Both were not good because the rice did not taste like Persian flavored rice (it was a cheap type) and the fesenjan (which the main ingredients are walnuts, pomegranate juice and chicken) were not used in appropriate quantities I know in real Fesenjan. There was no chunks of chicken. The Fesenjan was very watery and sour which does not resemble real Fesenjan. Another complaint was the price was excessive for the amount of food provided. Please do not advertise as a Persian restaurant because it is not authentic and very disappointing for Persians who know Persian food. Looking for your response. read more

Our first visit to Boro Kabob. The food is delicious and the service was very pleasant and helpful. Sunny and Angela worked the counter and couldn't be nicer. We enjoyed all the food and would like to see better cutlery. The plastic provided isn't the best for cutting through the meat. The dining area is small but cute. We came at an off time so not crowded. We split the wings - 6 at $13...good but extremely pricey. Wouldn't get those again for that price. The combo #3 was $27 and was very good but again super pricey, especially for one person eating with plastic on paper plates. We had a 20% coupon and saved $8 which was more palatable at $32 total. Apparently there is a mobile app that earns rewards and has special pricing. Still up in the air on downloading it due to prices. With that said, the food and service were very good. 11/23/21 My husband placed a carryout order by phone for two Chicken Kabob. On his way to pick it up, he received a text to inform him that it was ready. You can place an order by phone or online for pickup or delivery. They also offer catering. I was honestly never a big fan of Mediterranean food, but I've tried it at several restaurants the last few months and actually enjoy it now. Their menu is inspired by Persian and Mediterranean cuisine. It was not only tasty, but I'm happy knowing that I am fueling my body with nutrients and fresh and healthy food . I loved the food here! I'm so glad I found this place on yelp. Don't let the location fool you, it's like a hole in the wall. Food and service will not disappoint. I ordered the #6 combo (lamb and kobideh) with half and half rice plus salad, but portion size is so big that made me wonder if they gave us full orders of rice and salad by accident? There's so much rice that I don't think an average human being can consume it all in one meal. The kobideh was perfectly seasoned and tender, but my lamb was slightly over-cooked (that's why 4 star instead of 5). I also ordered the mezze platter, which came with 4 dippings of my choice plus pitas, for sharing with my colleague. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered so much food, but I'm glad I got to try different things because everything tasted delicious! I especially like the yogurt sauce and baba ganoush. My coworker liked the hummus the best, out of the dipping sauces. My coworker had the grilled chicken combo and liked it. Boro Kabob is a great place for delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I've been there in the past to get kabob dinners to go. It's a little hole jn the wall that could be overlooked with it between an Indian restaurant, a Papa Johns and a Korean restaurant. I decided to stop in and order a beef shawarma tonight. The guy behind the counter was so polite and friendly. The restaurant has limited seating but no one was there so I opted to stay and enjoy my meal there. The shawarma was SO flavorful!! It came with the white sauce drizzled on top but I got some (not spicy ) red sauce on the side and it complemented the meat just right. I'm not sure if the guy behind the counter was the owner or manager, but brought my order to me and then checked on me after I started early to see if enjoyed it. I was in heaven. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sandwich overall was juicy. Another man came to check to see if I was enjoying my neal. I appreciated their attentiveness. I was in heaven. I got the shawarma with regular fries, which were hot and thick cut. It was nice to eat hot, crispy fries. The desserts are excellent too. I'm a big fan of baklava and they had walnut and pistachio varieties. The walnut baklava was cut into 4 little pieces and they were perfect to share. I also took home the espresso creme brulee.
