We have been going here for 10 years now and never had any issues. They are always lovely and helpful and have saved many of my clothes both through dry cleaning and great sewing work. I called today to get my comforters and they already had them pulled out and ready for delivery. Great neighborhood family business. read more

I agree, staff pretend to be friendly but if you have any questions or complaints about their poor service they will bite your head off and accuse one of not wanting to pay. I am fine paying for a service, even poor service, but I would like to give feedback on how they can improve the customer's experience. There is no room for that at Choppy's so I have found a more professional and better quality tailor/dry cleaner nearby. Do yourself a favor and do the same before they overcharge you, return an item untreated and/or deliver your order to some other address and then not take responsibility for it. I couldnt agree more with others reviews. I have been going this cleaner for a while, i dont use cleaners service too often, i was kind of regular of theirs. I have picked up many untreated clothes, only ironed and thats it. I am a super busy women, but last time I decided to take my two untreated shirt back. White shirt, all stain on it!!! Even more stains than i dropped it to be cleaned. Simple stains!! Blue shirt, only ironed!! So i went there to explain the owner, i strongly believed these are not treated, she started to give me attitude right away saying "we are not magicians". Well i am well aware of that. I said how come other cleaners are able to get those stains away but not you. Offered me to do them again, i didnt want to and then she got nasty. All i wanted to get refunded for my last 2 shirt and delete my account. She was like refund?!?!! We do not refund, and rolling her eyes to me being super nasty. I told her that i didnt come here to argue, i just want my money back and not to do business anymore. And i told her that i will write a review. She was yes go head write and i am going to reply saying we offered her service she didn't accept. As a customer, i have the right to choose whatever i want. Anyhow, i am done with their business, they are super expensive, unprofessional and super rude. The owners are a husband and wife team, both of whom are friendly and professional. I've had many items tailed here (for a while it seems all my pants needed alterations) and all were done to my satisfaction. We've also not had any issues with dry-cleaned or laundered items. Additionally, I've called a few times when I was running late after work and they stayed open a few minutes late so as to accommodate me. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

I came to this business to get my uggs cleaned because the are the new water resistant uggs II (they were only 4 months old) and one of the workers or owners wasn't very specific of the process when shipping my uggs out. I only had a marker stain I wanted out but when I picked up my uggs 2 weeks later they looked very different by the texture on the outside, the texture of the fur inside, the shape, and that marker stain was still on them! It never came out! So when I told the employee how I felt, she treats me very rudely. The next day I thought okay maybe these are just little things I'm looking too closely at. However, when I tried my uggs on, they shrunk 2 sizes down. I have no idea what their did to my uggs when the cleaners shipped them out to the specialist but they are unwearable. All I was told is that the uggs are dipped in petroleum. When I called to tell them this bigger issue, the lady says to me on the phone "I knew you were going to be a problem, see I knew you were going to be a problem customer. She was not willing to work with me. That is not how you run a business. I am a customer giving you my money with trust that whatever I own, you take good care of. I can go else wear with my money but I will never give these people my money again. The claim "they have been cleaning uggs for years and that I'm the first to have an issue" I'm surprised no one else's uggs have shrunken even when they had stuffing inside! Maybe this is an issue now because my uggs are the new water resistant one so they aren't like any other pair of uggs. I would never recommend to ever go to any cleaners to get your uggs cleaned. It's too risky and the ugg cleaning kit is a better recommendation because they are created to clean ugg boots. read more
