    shaved ice
    Cynthia K.

Lot of food for a low price!! They really fill up the container. I think we went for dinner and I only at a third of the dish, so had leftovers for days!! My favorite was the shaved ice though, which had fresh fruit, lychee jellys, and sweet and condensed milk. That was probably my favorite. Otherwise, just very typical chinese takeout! I have occasional cravings for chinese takeout so this will definitely satisfy that!

Can't speak for their food but the shaved ice is what I'm here for! The texture is fluffy and smooth and it's flavored with the perfect amount of subtle sweetness-- reminds me of the ones I've had in Asia. The shaved ice bowls are 10 dollars and come with fruit(mango, strawberry, melon), red bean, fruit jelly, and popping boba. Pretty worth it and not sure you can find anything similar elsewhere in the Cleveland area! Great investment for Chopsticks in the shaved ice machine.

Double entree sweet and sour chicken with vegetable fried rice

This is a double entree sweet and sour chicken with. A drink for $11.50. Nothing is made to order/as you order. Think PF changs. THIS is sweet and sour chicken .... Wtf over ... Where is the pineapple and carrots?? Seriously disappointed. I want my money back!! I peeled the dry breading off my chicken. The vegetable fried rice was bland and flavorless. I left there dissatisfied and still hungry.

Was staying at the Courtyard around the corner for several days. So I walked over to Chopstick one evening to order some Chinese to go. There really isn't room to eat in here. I ordered Hot and Spicy soup, egg rolls, and Kung Pao chicken - my usual order when trying out a new Chinese joint. I was hopeful as to the quality - given all of the enthusiastic Yelp reviews. I got back to my hotel room with my order and dug in. The food was bland and unremarkable. The egg rolls were very greasy. A few hours after eating - my stomach was not happy. #ChopstickChineseRestaurant

Two protein and a side. $9.50

Overall quick and easy... that's the best part. The food choices are all ready to go, and they are mediocre at best. Not a great value. Decent flavor, seemingly quality ingredients, but just short on the delivery. Spice level was perfect to my liking for kung pao chicken. Just don't expect much as far as fast food Chinese. Staff was underwhelming for knowledge... but it is what it is. Self serve soda machine and a few tables round out the interior. Street side outside seating is available.

    Curry chicken lunch special

Sooooo yummy! Just when I was going to give up on Chinese food for a while, they renewed my faith. I was initially walking to a different restaurant nearby but saw a Asian woman walking into Chopsticks. I've heard a while ago, that it is a good sign if you see customers at ethnic restaurants that mirror the cooks. The lady at the register was very friendly and answered my questions. My curry chicken lunch special comes with choice of a soup or soda. It was perfectly seasoned with just enough "kick". I can't wait to try another dish soon.

egg roll - totally cabbage and no seasoning.

Aw man. If this was a one word review it would be "BLAND." VERY bland. Like could not discern the difference in the meat flavor v. the wrap in the fired wontons as well as the blandest egg roll I have EVER eaten. Are y'all just trying to save money because both eggrolls (we ordered 2) were nothing but wrapper and cabbage (see very blurry pic - sorry). I got the CURRY chicken and IT was bland and it absolutely should have been called "Onion curry" 6 pieces of chicken, 6 pieces of mushroom. 4 slices of carrots and green pepper each, and 2 whole onions. It tasted like curry, but ALL onions. Partner got bland wonton eggdrop soup. What the heck? He has not delved into his entree..."Maybe later" ALso can places offering delivery get their dang packaging game down???? This was in someone's car and leaked all over. I hope delivery drivers have ways to protect their interiors. But the white rice had some flavor. Sigh. One and done - wont return, Which is a shame because the menu seemed interesting.

Fried crab sticks need to specify they're fried mixed fish/Alaskan pollock in reality. They were tasty but definitely just large fish sticks. About six in a bag for about $5. The tomato and egg dish is expensive at over $10 for a bowl of a couple scrambled eggs and some tomato chunks. It had an odd mustard note to it which was interesting.

The food is ok, but the grass jelly desserts are amazing. The beef in the beef with cumin was very dry, the ma po tofu did not have the correct spices or ingredients, and the fried fish stir fry was simply average. However, I highly recommend getting their grass jelly dessert. They really pack a lot of toppings in the bowl and it is just the right amount of sugar. I would probably only come here for the dessert.

Dragonfruit Yakult Sago drink was good but we ordered the Grass Jelly Signature dessert and it looked nothing like the picture !! In fact, it was missing some of the ingredients. They messed up my order too!

The food was really cold and the chicken was too chewy, not only that but the food was overpriced. Just go to panda express.

Right down the street from the hospital and a good reliable takeout spot. Place is clean and well lit, food reminiscent of Panda Express

Altogether, it was quite a decent amount for 3 ppl, we ended up taking back leftovers. The lamb kebabs were great, perfectly tender and well seasoned without being too salty. I can totally see why the eggplant is recommended by other yelpers--it has a light crisp on the outside, not too mushy. The other dishes, Kung pao chicken and salt and pepper fish also were well seasoned and also lightly crispy. While it's probably not the healthiest with the crispy fried texture, I think they were worth the taste, and I appreciate the addition of a few veggies in both dishes. Hard to pick a favorite since they were all good, but if I had to choose, would recommend ordering the kebabs and the eggplant. Service was decent, and the food came out pretty fast. Parking readily available as there's a parking lot outside. Definitely will consider coming back, and maybe even trying their takeout.

Authentic as can be as far as aesthetics, service, and food. The pork buns may be some of the best I've had and on par with anything better. The texture was perfect moist, soft, and airy. The pork did not deviate from well done traditional dim sum and there was no surprise flavor alteration. The pork was sliced, not scrappings, well cooked, and fresh. The wonton soup was good, I've had better, but really good. The chicken low mein was good, I've had better, but it shouldn't disappoint you at all! The dumplings had a great flavor profile with a welcoming hint of ginger. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food look no further!

There was one particular time dinning here when the service was terrible, our wait time was egregiously long, and to top it off, the staff were really rude to my parents (the nicest, calmest people). That self-induced ban lasted almost 2 decades and I came back in 2022 at the invitation of my daughter's friend's family. The place was SWARMING and we had to wait for our table. There is free parking but it's limited and usually full up on the weekend. Cart service was quick but I had to go over to the dessert ones to get them to come to our table. Offerings were pretty standard and thankfully, the taste was overall pretty good. Nothing was cold, everything was steaming hot. Wish they had a few more items to select from. The restaurant space should be expanded by now since they are so popular. It's impossible to walk around with all the big tables and people squeezed together. Afterwards, I bought all the kids boba smoothies from their bar in the corner (smart thing to have apart from the dim sum). They upped their prices over the years but portions are the same. Still more affordable than Lao Sichuan in Pinecrest but not impressed with the auto 18% added to the bill (because...weekends?). Cleveland needs more dim sum options! I have dined here for dinner once upon a time as well and I remember the dishes being pretty good and authentic but those memories are from circa 1999-2000 so back in ancient times.
