I always love coming here! The food always comes out hot and fresh and it always tastes good. Personal faves are the crab rangoons and sesame chicken.

The servers are kind, aesthetically not appealing. The space is just chairs, tables, and white walls. The crab Rangoon was mainly cream cheese, and the spring rolls were not filled up. Our mains were portioned well. Not a knock out spot but not bad.

Came here for weekend lunch and there was plenty of open seating. Pretty impressed by the menu options, there were a lot to choose from. Ended up ordering the water spinach (Kong xin cai), kung pao chicken, dried pot with lamb. The water spinach was fresh tasting and delicious, had a good veggie crunch, not soggy or overcooked. The kung pao chicken was also pretty good, well portioned and came with veggies (bell peppers). It was my first time having dry pot and I liked that it came with plenty of meat and veggies (bean sprouts, lotus root, cilantro, celery) and even had seaweed and tofu. Overall all were good dishes and hit that craving for Chinese food. They all came out quickly. Service was decent. Conveniently neighboring the asian grocery store Tink Holl, though that also means parking can be limited if the grocery store is also packed. Definitely will consider coming back.

Szechuan Gourmet was fantastic! They had an extensive menu and I really enjoyed the entrees we ordered: the leek and bean curd as well as the spicy fish fillet. The fish was crispy and they definitely brought the heat! The wonton soup appetizer and the scallion pancakes were also decent. I appreciated the entrees all came with rice, and thought everything was really well-priced! The service was quick and the ambiance was pretty no-frills. There was free parking in the lot, too.

Went here for lunch with friends and had an excellent time. The service was so fast and the food was delicious. We ordered a bunch to share including the salt and pepper tofu which was my favorite and the Mongolian beef. So affordable and delicious - I know I keep saying that, but we all kept saying "this is so good" because it really was so good. It is a great place for a casual meal and is quiet which I liked.

The tofu with seafood and vegetable entree. $18, was not flavorful but had an excellent volume of seafood and mixed vegetables in a sort of gelatinous thin sauce. It had no spices. Good plain protein meal. The fried lamb w/cumin, $18, was very very spicy. See before and after pics.

#1 authentic Szechuan food you can get in Cleveland/NE Ohio area, and probably the best overall authentic Chinese restaurant in Cleveland area! My go-tos are: 212 Dried Sauteed String Bean干煸四季豆 - a bity salty but mix it with your rice the flavor hits every time! 192 Salt & Pepper Crispy Tofu椒鹽豆腐 181 Fish Filet w.Pine Nut in sweet and sour sauce糖醋松子魚 - sweet and tangy yet savory sauce on deep fried fish with pine nuts (SO delicious! and no fishy taste!) 219 Water Spinach空心菜 - recommend with garlic option Also tried a stewed beef option this time and it was pretty tender! Overall, if your spice tolerance isn't high, I still think many of their dishes are tolerable for those who don't frequently eat spice and you can ask the staff to tone down the spice for some dishes. Service was efficient and friendly, often filling up our waters. Booth and roundtable seating with lazy susan available for small and large parties - takeout here is popular too! I often stop by Tink holl (next door) for groceries - recommend going their for affordable and fresh asian vegetables. Parking lot available.

Great lunch menu, had the spicy beef noodle soup. Although it didn't come with all the toppings of a pho, it was worth the price. Friendly fast service. Food came out quick and hot.

Food is very good and authentic Chinese! Ambiance isn't the best, but that pretty much makes it more authentic. Pig intestines, mapo tofu, beef hu fun, turnip cakes were amazing! Service is good. Will be back.

Pepper fried rice with shrimp and a spring roll

I love this place. I usually get the pepper chicken and the green beans. But today I decided to try something new. I got the pepper fried rice with shrimp and an order of spring rolls. The fried rice has one pepper next to it so I asked how spicy it was and she told me it was spicy. I asked her could it be made a little less spicy and she said yes so I ordered. When I got home and ate it for one pepper and for supposedly taking some spice away, it was ridiculously hot and I am not a punk to spice. I don't think they changed anything at all . It does have good flavor. But I don't know how much of it I can eat. I gave it four stars because I still love this place so next time I'll just get my usual.

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

Then when I asked for a refund, I was told I would get one and then the crazy owner. That's what she identified herself as hung up on me and told me she wasn't doing anything for me even though I had taken pictures next to the pictures that I created my order from and said all of this food is different not only was it different. It was horrible. The worst Chinese food I've ever had here and I've eaten Chinese food in Singapore all over Asia. This is not Chinese food at all. It's disgusting and I would highly recommend you don't eat food from there, especially because the owner will not stand behind the food. They cook and prepare and they just hope you're on a trip like I am and won't come back because it's so terrible. Unfortunately, for them after she said she wasn't going to do anything for my order my bank realize that I sent him the information I provided him with information for the pictures and then I had also taken pictures of the food that they had given me so yeah my bank took care of me thank you very much US bank for doing the right thing. You should be ashamed of yourself Szechuan gourmet there is nothing gourmet about your restaurant and this is coming from actually a real restaurant owner. I would never ever treat my guess the way you treated me over the phone you are rude. You produce bad food and hopefully you're not in business for that much longer. It's a shame that you do that and you pass it off as Chinese food especially Szechuan maybe you should look up the province and understand the food that comes from there.

Unlike most other cuisines, with which I am extremely adventurous and not only willing, but look forward to trying new things and experimenting. I am a bit timid with Asian cuisine. I find it a bit challenging to navigate their typically extensive menus. Based on a recommendation from a foodie I hold in high regard, we went to "Han Chinese Kabob & Grill" last night. I was informed it is a small establishment so we called for reservations. We were told they do not take them and to be assured of a table we should arrive early. So we showed up before 6pm to a basically empty restaurant. We were seated quickly by a pleasant young woman that spoke no English at all. When we ask a question she went off right away to find our server for help. Within the next 15 minutes the dining room went from empty to full like someone had thrown a switch. It remained that way the entire time we were there. Very soon a wonderful young woman arrived at our table. She provided water, answered several questions, and took our orders. She was very pleasant and professional. I ordered an excellent brown sugar milk tea along with a great cucumber salad and marvelous lamb chops. Some of the meatiest chops I have ever had. Just about everything is available with any level of heat you desire. I am typically very reserved when it comes to spicy foods. I find it hides the true flavors of the ingredients so I always order with no heat. My entire meal was prepared perfectly. My wife and our guests felt the same way about their selections. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. Our final surprise was when we received our bill and discovered how affordable it was to eat so well. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return.

KPOT is located near the Main entrance to the mall, but you have to enter from the parking lot, there is no direct access into the mall. Once inside there is a bar area and hostess stand. Decor is Asian modern, clean and sleek, but a bit understated. I was seated in a smaller table near the front and quickly greeted by my server who explained how the restaurant works. You have the choice of Hot Pot or Korean BBQ, although you can do both for an additional $5. You order what you want on a small tablet and the food is delivered to the table. I went for the BBQ since the hot pot option did not include shrimp at lunch time. As a pescetarian I ordered the garlic shrimp, spicy fish, spicy squid and mussels along with vegies including eggplant, onion, mushrooms and sweet potatoes along with white rice. While waiting for the food to come out and the grill to heat up I went to the sauce bar up front to get a couple of dipping sauces along with some seaweed salad and kimchi. When the food came out the seafood portions were generous and there were plenty of vegies. There is a general guide to how long you want to cook the items, although I found that most of the food took a bit of extra time. I generally would grill a couple of proteins and vegies at a time, eat them when they were done and then start again, which made for a nice leisurely meal. My favorites were the shrimp and the two different kinds of mushrooms along with the dipping sauces and the sides. The squid was good, but were a bit difficult because they were larger pieces, I should have used the scissors to cut them into smaller pieces to make the cooking easier. The spicy fish was also very good. The large mussels took a bit of time to cook and I finally figured out that turning them over with the shell on top worked better. The vegies took quite a bit of time to cook, especially the eggplant and sweet potatoes. Since it was AYCE I did get a second order of the garlic shrimp and an order of the sesame balls for dessert. KPOT offers AYCE with good quality and even though the seafood selection is a bit limited at lunchtime, since you can reorder what you want there is plenty of food. The grilling at the table can be a bit challenging, but is fun and makes sure you always have fresh and hot food. I do like the sauce and sides bar which allows you to add some extra flavors and variety. The decor is good, but nothing exciting. Service is good
