Really impressive for what it is. This is very much an Americanized Chinese restaurant, but the preparation is very impressive. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just crisp. The tofu was nicely prepared with a nice crunchy fried exterior without being overdone. The space was fine: more geared toward takeout than dine in, but dine in is certainly an option. The staff was friendly and very much interested in making sure we had the best experience possible. All told, I view this as a hidden gem of a destination. I ordered sesame chicken, shrimp lobster sauce and hot and sour soup. Chicken was decent but tasted like they overcooked it. Shrimp & lobster sauce was pretty tasty Hot & sour soup needed more texture. I did not get much in there aside from the broth. Also needed a little bit of vinegar for the sour part of the soup. We ordered through a 3rd party for delivery. Everything came warm. We really like the dumplings and their sauce. I got the orange chicken with lo mein. It was really light on the orange, which I actually liked because it wasn't too overpowering. The chicken was a bit dry but not too bad. The lo mein was great; lots of veggies in it. I had food from this restaurant several times and loved it. Today, i ordered several dishes which had no flavor. Veggie fried rice was cold and had only broccoli. The veggie spring rolls were overcooked and the filling was almost non existent. I don't think I'd order from them again. Subpar food. At least the trash comes tomorrow. read more

The fried dumplings were yummy. I had shrimp with Chinese veggies combo and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked perfectly where they just melt in your mouth. My daughter had sesame chicken combo and she loved it. read more

Started going here 15 yrs ago. Food was amazing. Used to have the best crab rangoon and General Tsao's chicken. Food took a little dip in quality over the years. This is one of the best Chinese places! The food is always hot and taste amazing! I recommend the beef teriyaki on a stick. My favorite! They are also very fast, I live very close to this place and they always say it will be about 10 minutes and they are always right. I hate to do this, I really do as back in the day it wasn't this way but.... It's not very good. It just doesn't taste fresh....at all. The pork lo mein we got had a certain 'meh' smell to it. The fried rice is pretty flavorless. The egg rolls are forgettable. We went here as Wild Fusion was closed.....next time I'd rather go to Asia Garden down W. 130th. My wife and I were craving Chinese food one night and this so happened to be on our route home, so we decided to stop in. The inside was a nice little quaint dining area. A little boy took our order, which was funny in itself, and he was cute and courteous. There was also a bed behind the counter...all of that aside, we got our food and went home. Everything was packaged very nicely. All of the food was more than we could have hoped for, very large portions. We both loved our meals. Definitely not happy. Placed a to-go order so we could grab it and head home, as you do. Called, places said order, lady said "15 minutes". Perfect. We were 15-20 minutes away and my pregnant butt is starving and salivating at the thought of some orange chicken.... We get to pick up our order, and she tells us it isn't ready and that they wait to make the orders until after you pay. I get it, it makes sense, but it's never been like that before or any of the other take out places, so why now? And why not tell me this when I was on the phone with you? Very rude. Now I'm starving, sitting in their parking lot, and really wishing I wanted something other than Chinese food. Moral of the story: if you're hungry and want take out, order in the restaurant because apparently they can't take phone orders and prepare them like normal restaurants do. **edited after we ate. When you call be prepared to be on speaker phone so you don't get your ears blown off - they are arguing with each other back and forth- the person answering the phone had an unnecessary attitude. I'll start with that I ordered food at 7:52 food got there at 8:35- called at 8:42 to tell them the order was not correct and I asked them to replace the one meal- it arrived at 9:50 after calling twice to find out what's going on - when he handed us the replacement, we handed him the bag of food that we just ordered because it was gross !! The food has no flavor - I make fried rice 100x better - their fried rice that comes with the combinations - is white rice that looks like it was dyed in yellow and cooked in chicken broth only - gross!! They do not use quality meat - it smelled and tasted a little off and bad after taste - I'm throwing it out- I sure hope I don't get sick!! I wouldn't feed it to my dog!! If you're ordering chow mein... don't- you don't get real chow mein noodles - you get fried something or another that sometimes they will give you to put in soup- Oh - and that garbage costed $35 bucks with tip- Just don't eat here!!! read more

Placed delivery order at 7pm, called the restaurant at 8:40pm to ask about our delivery and the women put us on hold but all we could hear was yelling... we began yelling into the phone to get their attention after 5 min on hold. We hung up and called back again and when the lady answered we explained to her that we had ordered our food over 1 hour and 45 min ago and she immediately yelled "it's on it's way". Unsanitary...their kids run around the kitchen with the very same cooking pots and utensils, dragging them on the floor and placing them back to serve your food. When I questioned them about this behavior they replied that they didn't have a baby sitter, really! Worst Chinese food ever! When we called to place the order we stated it was for delivery. We ordered the food and the lady hung up on us. We had to call back to give them the address and pay and she was extremely rude. They called us back 3 minutes later because they didn't process the card correctly. It took 45 minutes for the order to be delivered which isn't a big deal however the delivery guy brought his child with him. It was weird to say the least. Our food was very bland and quite honestly a waste of money. I've never had Chinese food that didn't taste like anything. Eating a card board box would have been more appetizing. Hunan chicken was so awful, I couldn't understand either of the people who I ordered on the phone with.

Having just moved into the area and looking to familiarize myself with the local take out offerings I stumbled across this restaurant. The food was good and was out quick. The Hunan chicken and shrimp was loaded with both proteins and vegetables. The back of house was in a heated arguement that could be heard up front would be my only criticism.
