Luckily Chopsticks has all of the above. This is in a convenient location from where I live, so easy to get take-out. There's plenty of parking in the area they are located. They have good sized servings for a reasonable price, and a lot of options on the menu. We enjoyed the food we got. It's not gourmet food, but your typical, Chinese restaurant in a strip mall food. The food here definitely fulfilled my craving! We ordered the sesame chicken with white rice dinner combo which comes with a giant egg roll, vegetable lo mein, fried chicken (8 pieces included), small bbq pork and a large wonton soup. The portion was small for the price. I had the chicken egg foo young special. The egg foo young patties were VERY small, flat and dry. It came with maybe a cup of fried rice (which was okay--not great). They did not offer or include sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce, which I did not notice until I got home because they tied the bag. The egg foo young was dry--luckily, I had the brown gravy (which was not bad). I would not go there again as Panda Express gives a better bang for the buck but Panda does not sell egg foo young. The people are very nice however the food is nothing special. We ordered Tso chicken, Sesame chicken, and orange chicken and couldn't tell the difference between any of them. We also ordered egg rolls not with meat and the veggie ones. The veggie ones were over cooked so kind of hard to say if the were good or not. Chopsticks is a small family owned business. We've always been greeted politely, helped when ordering. We've always done takeout. We've tried Chipsticks on 4 separate occasions each time with new items added to our order. The food has always been hot and very flavorful by time we get our order home 20+ minutes. My wife and I lived in San Francisco for a number of years, eating at very authentic Chinese restaurants. So far in the Algonquin area we've found Chopsticks to be great and definitely worth the try. read more

Food here is usually pretty good. They are fast and haven't had any issues to this point, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1. Tonight we wanted to support a local business and ordered takeout. A normally 20-30 min order took over an hour and had the poor Door Dash driver sitting there for nearly 30 min. The order gets here and felt so bad for the driver we tipped him an extra $5. Our order of curry shrimp had 6 total pcs of shrimp, which seems to be what they put in it bc our order of Kung Pao CHICKEN had no chicken but 6 pcs of shrimp instead. Good thing we like shrimp, but disappointed that our order was wrong and had such a small amount of actual shrimp. Hopefully this was a one off, but might be awhile before we order again. This is our favorite Chinese take-out place, specializing in Madarin and Szechuan style cooking. The people we think are the owners are wonderful - very kind and always smiling. Sometimes the people on the counter (typically younger males, either senior high school, or, more likely college aged) can be a bit sullen and unfriendly (though that seems to be better in the last six months). The food is reliably good, with a good choice. Prices are reasonable and in-line with other places, but I think the quality of food is better. There are coupons on the menu that you can use to reduce the price on the next order (though personally I *never* remember this.) :-( Particularly good is the Special Pan Fried Noodle dish, with chicken/shrimp and beef. Yumalicious, and just as tasty as a left over meal the next day too. They have limited eat-in capacity (4 tables?) though I've never actually seen anyone eating there - mostly people just sit there to wait for their orders. (There's a steady stream of people coming in.) Decor is pretty standard for Chinese restaurant. Would I recommend - yes. Will I return - yes (I have, and will continue to return). read more

When we ordered the food online, it was quoted an estimate time of 1 hour for the food to arrive. We didn't get our food until a full two hours later. The beef with mushroom and the string bean dishes were really tasty. I thought they were fairly authentic and we've been looking for a good chinese restaurant around the area for a while. We'd order these two dishes again. They also came with little boxes of rice which were cooked just right. The spring rolls weren't actually spring rolls...they were vegetarian egg rolls. We wouldn't get these again, they were a little bland. The Bubbles Milk Tea was okay. The tea itself was not bad but the boba/tapoica/bubbles were over cooked. The Hot and Sour Soup was pretty spicy (a little too hot for me but some people might like it). It was lacking in the sour department though, mainly just spicy. I'd skip this in the future. We'd probably order delivery from them again, but just order 2 hours before we wanted to eat. read more
