I'm not one to do karaoke (with the exception of car-aoke), but I wanted to do something different for my birthday this year, so Chorus was the move. Overall, it was a fun experience with some great vibes! We ordered a bunch of sample platters for the group, which were pretty good. They have a ton of soju with several different options, which we took advantage of, along with a good beer selection. Since we had different tabs, we had to go to the bar to order more drinks, which wasn't terrible. The service was pretty quick and the staff was really friend. They have two options for karaoke: Their own system and a mounted tablet that can pull up YouTube on the tv. They explained how to use their system before we got started, but after a few drinks, we decided that it was much easier just to go the YouTube route. A grand time was definetly had here! First, let's start by saying Chorus Karaoke only offers private rooms. These rooms are very spacious with props (jackets and tambourines) included in the rooms, giving the option to amp up one's performance. The service was very quick with a super friendly staff, even with our big party size. The food was super affordable with decent portion sizes. Then the restrooms was fairly clean. What could u improve? start off by either getting a new owner or getting the twat with the glasses behind the bar a psychoanalysis test and some meds because i genuinely think he's challenged. My friend and I were coming from lulus kareoke bar because they were full. Upon entering chorus kareoke you walk straight into the bar area (keep in mind there is no other entrance). Bro behind the bar asked what we needed and we simply said we want to do kareoke. He asked for our ID's. I unfortunately did not have my ID on me and openly stated we are both under the age of 21 and will not be ordering any alcohol (or even anything to eat) JUST kareoke. Dude insisted we show physical ID's which we had no issue with. I asked if a photo of mine is okay because Lulus security had no issue with it and even said showing our ID's didn't matter because l we claimed we were under the legal drinking age(20) so it's not like we could order alc and get away w it. I asked why the pic wouldn't suffice since all we want to do is kareoke. A genuine question bc we weren't sitting at the bar or lounge area nor requesting any bar service of any kind. Mr.chopped crouches to my eye level, condescendingly talking to me like a 5 year old. : "you just walked into and up to the bar, you must have ID on you, it's a bar you should have ur ID regardless. It's not that I don't trust you. you GOTTA have ur ID with you BC u walked up to a bar‍" Firstly, fix ur attitude bc I guarantee u one day ur ego is gonna lead to someone fixing it for u (and we all know you love getting physical with ur customers and boy you aint no Thor) Secondly, despite there being VA liquor licenses that legally allow kareoke bars to deny entry upon failure of presenting a physical ID--even if ur not drinking alcohol--there is NO bar nor ABC liquor regulations the VA has mandated stating, "service and entry MUST be denied if under legal drinking age" (it's essentially up to the venue). In comparison, at LuLus we went right up to the bar requesting kareoke service and there was zero issue... This being said, some places have different policies than others nd that's 100% okay nd respected. Thirdly, if you're so insistent on ID's but advertise to families, why does your website provide ZERO faqs on rules/regulations? Lmk because like ur competence, I'm still trynna find it FOURTHLY, ur primary service isn't alcohol, it's kareoke. You also serve food. I've worked at an axe bar where the bar is RIGHT behind the throwing lanes meaning customers being near bar premises is inevitable due to structure. Just like how being right in ur bar premises is inevitable when entering... We have never id'd someone for coming up to the bar that was inquiring about non-alcoholic service(s) we got people throwing death weapons. u have ppl reading words off a screen. Please look into what POSITIVE opportunity cost is bc this place is severely lacking it. This business was def passed down from family. (And if it wasn't and you were the one who made ur business executive summary/plan... how unfortunate) If, your logic comes from the private room aspect and assuring the drink gets to the designated customer and not someone underage when busy, reconsider career choices. Look, props to u dude if u started the business, takes a lot of work but this right here is why chorus kareoke was empty at 9-10pm on a Friday night in conclusion go to LuLus Cafe to do kareoke not here, and for you pal don't fret! This Karaoke bar is new to the Chantilly area (about a year or two now). My husband and his friends enjoy karaoke and we use to often go to lulu - however Chorus is much closer to all our houses, so we gave them a shot. We have been back probably 4 or 5 times since they opened. They have private rooms that you pay for by time and I believe by person. They have drinks and food that you can order. We tried their pizza and I enjoy the fresh soju and citrus soju when we go. They bring your order to your private room so you don't have to go out to the bar area - however you can if you'd like during a restroom break so not to stop the singing. We have not gone during the pandemic - but we do plan to go back once things are lifted up and it's safe again. read more

Terrible experience. The owner seemed to have gone crazy on my party of 6 and even lunged at one of us. We had a genuine intention to check the karaoke but then the owners fit started off with us not understanding what he was saying, he seemed to have lost it after that and started cursing. This is the cleanest karaoke bar in the DMV area! They're equipped with wireless mics which they give out disposable covers for every time and not only their rooms but their restrooms are spotless as well. I went in right when they opened on a Thursday so we were able to get in immediately. Although I didn't get to see their drink selection at the bar or their food options, their bar looked very clean with many different kinds of alcohol/beverages to accommodate people with. Although it's not in Centreville or Annandale, which is where most people go for karaoke, I would recommend driving a bit out to Chorus Karaoke because its benefits outweigh the location. It's clean (most karaoke places are filthy), it has wireless mics (always a plus!), staff are nice and they have fun little costume/props in the big rooms for extra fun. I would recommend!! This karaoke place was awesome! Split amongst a party of 8-10 and it was not at all a bad price for about two hours. Drinks , water, food etc. all you can think of. Best option in my opinion is to use YouTube for songs tho because the normal program they have is lacking popular US or Hispanic songs and the lyrics aren't in english anyhow. We called ahead to ask for a reservation and they said they had a room available but they don't take reservation that first come, me and my friends drove and showed up, this guy told us there was available, but the other lady told us someone called ahead to reserve so how come is that possible ?. Staff is friendly, the rooms are well equipped with both the traditional karaoke keypad (Korean and English) and a Tablet for YouTube Karaoke, which I prefer for a wider song selection. I like going here because everything is clean / spotless; and they use those little disposable covers for the microphone. I was excited to see a karaoke bar opening in my area but I'd rather go to Annandale. The service was fine, but we had a few issues that together ended up making the experience less than desirable. Their large room says it fits 15 people but I wouldn't have more than 10 unless you're all really skinny or are really packing yourselves into the booths. It's advertised at 70 an hour but what they don't mention is there's an 18% service charge tacked onto that so it gets very expensive very quickly. I didn't think it made sense for there to be a service charge on the room itself. Food and drinks, sure. The food is a little pricey for basic fried fare though. The selection was ok but they were missing some songs that are decently popular. We booked 3 hours and they said we could ask for more time if needed which sounded good, but then they didn't let us know when our 3 hours were up. Luckily I was keeping an eye on the time otherwise they would have been happy to let us rack up the bill. They advertise they do birthdays and have "party packages" available, but what they mean is that they allow you to throw a birthday in their normal room for the normal rate. They don't provide anything past plates and silverware if you ask and there are no birthday specials or decorations or serving the cake. So that was a bit of a bummer. Great! Came here for a birthday party and had tons of fun - glad there's a karaoke place in the Chantilly area now. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The karaoke system is only in Korean (unsure why) but they've labeled the remote so people can navigate and queue their songs. Lots of options for English pop songs and Korean/Japanese/Chinese options too! Also - regardless of your party size each room only gets 2 microphones. Food and drinks are tasty but beware that they don't advertise the drink prices on the menu! They also don't come to warn you when your time is up so make sure you keep track yourself.
