Bacon was inedible- cold and all fat - no crisp at all

I rarely write reviews but I sure wished I had listened to the reviews and we skipped it! Started off waiting over 10 minutes for menus. We were getting up to leave when a waitress rushed some over. Food took forever and was terrible. Cold, and gross. The only eatable thing was the pretzels - they were really good. No care, no pride in food at all. I felt bad for wait staff. Seemed to be only 2 servers to a full restaurant- but that's not an excuse. There are so many other choices - don't waste your time and money here!!

    CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE

I came here with my book club and I found this restaurant to be okay. We sat outside, they have a spacious patio. We visited on a Wednesday and they said they had trivia inside, which I would be willing to go back to try. I got the corned beef and cabbage meal. The corned beef was thinly sliced, I wish I could have had thicker pieces. The sauce on it was very lemony and kind of sweet, which I personally didn't love. The cabbage and potatoes were very good. The service was a little slow at times, so we spent a decent amount of time here. Overall, I found it to be okay.

    CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE

There is a reason why there are no photos of their corned beef and cabbage, because this is it. This is pathetic and the manager and cook should be humiliated serving this. I did take out and felt the package was light compared to the many other times I have ordered this dish from dozens of other Irish bars. I opened it up, moved around the sliver of corned beef to find barely any food. The cabbage was raw and the horseradish sauce was water. Not to mention the two slices of beef. I went back into the restaurant and complained. No resolution except to offer for me to order and pay for another meal. I ordered through a 3rd party app and they refused to issue a refund. DO NOT order this dish. Sadly, this is my first time and will be the last at Neds.

We attended a Halloween party here with Drink Nova! Service here was great and seemed busy! We enjoyed the cocktails and meeting new people here! Can't wait to come back for another event!

    Beware Line dance instructor

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make informed choices. I visited this bar hoping for a fun, welcoming evening with friends, but what I encountered instead was racism and disrespect that left me shocked and heartbroken. No one should ever be made to feel unwelcome or judged because of who they are. The line dancing instructor comments made it painfully clear that inclusion and respect aren't priorities here. It was disheartening to see such behavior in a place that should bring people together. The manger sided with him, I don't really blame her because she didn't witness the aggression and hate he addressed us with. I honestly believe this level of aggression should not be aloud in public. She stated she'd look at the camera footage... I hope she does so this doesn't happen to anybody else. Needless to say, I absolutely will not be coming back here! I hope the owner(s) take this as an opportunity to reflect and make real changes -- through training, accountability, and a genuine commitment to equality. Until then, I can't in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone who believes in kindness and fairness. Our waitress was a sweetheart and I hope this review doesn't affect her.

Came here for Halloween party with the Reflex 80s band playing was fun, except for some rowdy group or two but otherwise a good venue. We came strictly for the party and some drinks. My friends ordered a flat bread which was flat, dead flat! Drinks were okay, I had a watermelon martini which was too sweet and prob little to no vodka... Okay for a couple of hours of fun and jamming to 80s legends as Cyndi's girls want to have fun played by the band(new lead singer)! Acoustics and Speakers were quite loud so after an hour or so, we split, despite our exceedingly fun and fitted costumes!

Nice dinner spot with a great Irish beer vibe. Decent beer selection. I ordered the steak special and it was pretty good (seemed a bit small, but the special price was cheap). Great service

Burger Review: The Fat Elvis Is King! I came here purely for…read morea gathering of friends not planning to eat but after peeking at their menu and seeing their burger options I felt the need to try them out. Lots of options but the one that really stood out to me was one called "Fat Elvis", which comes stacked with American and cheddar cheese, spicy candied bacon, banana compote, and peanut butter. Yes, you read that right--peanut butter. This ain't my first rodeo trying peanut on a burger so trust me when I say somehow, it totally works. The sweet-and-savory combo is bold, a little outrageous, and absolutely delicious. The banana compote adds a warm, caramelized depth, the bacon brings a little heat and crunch, and the peanut butter ties it all together in the richest, most unexpected way. The patties themselves were juicy and cooked just right, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy. Bonus points for the generous portion--it's a two-hander for sure. I opted for a side salad instead of fries (balance, right?) and even that was fresh and full of color, topped with shredded cheese, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and crunchy croutons. The ranch dressing was a little thin and not quite as creamy as I'm used to but was good. Check out my photos if you want a visual warning of what you're getting into. Spoiler: it's a glorious mess, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. If you're into Elvis, wild flavor combos, or just love a burger that dares to be different, you need to try this. Side note: ended up ordering a bunch more food to go that I didn't get pictures of, wife got a CYO burger she devoured, I ordered some of their tacos which while a little pricey, the portion size and flavor of the quesabirria ones made up for it, even tried out some of their wings with the smoked lemon pepper dry rub and we're pretty solid even warmed up the next day. Lots of food options and may end up going back sometime to try some more things out. Service was great as well, place was jam packed but they had plenty of staff to stay attentive and keep things moving.

We were seated right away and the servers were very friendly. We didn't have to wait for anything which was greatly appreciated. The fish tacos were paired with a fresh slaw and came with rice and beans. The portions were very generous so make sure you are hungry. The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.
