This is long overdue... This place is amazing! The consistency and quality of the food is great. Chinese restaurants nowadays are nothing like authentic Chinese food. They favor to how an American would like it hence why I never order Chinese food until ChowTime opened. I've been dying to try it for over a month and when I did, I was beyond impressed. The food is fresh and despite the wait it was so worth it. I haven't tried food from a small Chinese restaurant like that in a long time. Every "Chinese restaurant" should look up to ChowTime. Not what it was 3 years ago. The hot and sour soup - was bland, needed vinegar. The spring roll was light, crisp and tasted good. The triple delight - the meat tasted old and the flavor was like old socks , the lo neon that came with it was flavorless. Spare ribs - meat also old - tasted like it was reheated, there were very hard unchewable parts. The fried rice that came with it wasn't seasoned. First and foremost, the 3% fee for debit/credit cards is basically nothing. Everything is cheap and high quality the dumplings are amazing there lo mein was delicious. I was very happy with my delivery from ChowTime . The Shrimp Rolls are crazy good. The beef pho was packed perfectly. , The cliantro lime, and bean sprouts we're all fresh, not that brown dissapointment you may normally receive. The pho broth was rich and piping hot. There was brisket and fresh eye round with the onions, scallions and rice noodles. Could they have sent some Sriracha, yeah....But I have it. Hoizon? Karen is so adorable and helped me to decide on getting the lychee tea. It was great. They had some options on the menu that I would love to explore so I took a menu to go. This place is dishonest. I came here when this store first opened, and I never went back again. I ordered a fried chicken wing and she gave me a price that was much lower than what's on the menu. I exclaimed "What?" surprised at the cost. She then gave me a lower price. I exclaimed, "What?" again, and she gave me a lower price. I then explained to her what the correct price was on the menu, helping her with her mistake. Later, she gave me the correct price, but then say, "Never mind, it's actually ___," which was $0.50 more than what was printed on the menu. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Coney Island when it comes to Chinese and Vietnamese food. I have ordered delivery from this restaurant and have went in person. Delivery is quick and service is amazing. The Vietnamese sandwiches are by far the best items on the menu. My favorite is the chicken Vietnamese sandwich. I highly recommend it! Chow Time has a very interesting menu from vietnamese cuisine to chinese cuisine. When they first opened up for online delivery, I was pretty psyched about it as they do have a pretty big menu - so you don't get bored of your day to day lunch options. I had really liked the Pho here, however there were a few times where my order came and the noodles were not Pho, but instead were some kind of hard noodles (wasn't a fan of that). If the can stay consistent with the recipes and ingredients, I would be ordering from here more frequently. Service has been very friendly and the food arrives promptly. read more

Awesome awesome awesome. Good old fashioned Chinese food. You know the one with brown fried rice with egg. Not that yellow stuff the other Chinese restaurants pass off that is horrible. I had the pork fried rice and didn't use any duck sauce or soy sauce. That's how good it was. I had the Singapore Mei Fun and it was delicious. The only complaint was that the egg roll was drowned in grease. So much that it spilled out of it. Hence the 4 stars. That's an easy fix so definitely give them a try. I been going to this place quite sometime. I work for the city and schedule for lunch is short so this place the service is great cause i always place my order over the phone and as soon I walk in the door my foods are ready for me. The price is not as expensive as other Asian restaurant, their portions is pretty big and the most important part is that the place is pretty clean compared to the other Asian restaurant I went down the blocks. I was hungry for Vietnamese food recently and found this gem with 15 minute walk from my hotel. I went there and was presently surprised as it has the appearance of typical Americanized Chinese restaurants but the taste was far from it. I ordered Pho Beef and chicken dumplings. I gave 4 stars as the dumplings were deep fried and not what I am uses to from living in China but still very tasty. The Pho Beef reminded me of other beef noodle dishes ive had in Asia plus they give lots of bean sprouts and Chinese parsley to add to your liking. Another Chinese-American takeout is the last thing Brooklyn needs, but the (very limited) Vietnamese menu intrigued me. This is the only pho I've ever had, and it was tasty but the broth lacked the deep flavor that connoisseurs like Anthony Bourdain rave about. The banh mi sandwiches were not as good as on Ave. U but I did enjoy the one with classic fillings. The pork chop, on the other hand, was tough, and they didn't even have knives so I had to pick it up and gnaw on it.
