I was hesitant to call after the negative reviews, but I had lost the keys to my mailbox and decided that I would brave the reported "rude" phone receptionist. Well, the first time I called, Chris answered, and was courteous and helpful. We set up a time to meet at his shop the following day so he could make me a new key. I got to his shop late and he wasn't there anymore, so I attempted to call him. I looked up a website with his information which linked a phone contact. I dialed that number and a women claiming to work for a generic locksmith answered and was comically and absurdly bad mannered. She ended up hanging up on me! This didn't seem to add up and when I looked at the number I had called the day before and compared it to the one I had just dialed, they were different. I called the right number this time and a woman named Julie answered and was professional and efficient. She took my information and Chris followed up with me later and made my key. Hmm, it appears a group of schemers have linked themselves to our local business. I suspect that this may be the cause of the negative reviews. Be careful to call the number from Chris' own website. A Classic Monday morning for me. I lost my car key once again. Do my regular searches around the house and yet it's nowhere to be found. After a couple hours I give it up and start calling locksmiths. I call two or three. Either they don't service my area even though they say they do online or they charge way more then I had in my mind.. So I get to Chris. I give him the details. He gives me a price which seemed more than fair and then goes onto tell me if I can get a key code we can knock the price down significantly. I've never even heard of a key code before and he was very helpful and gave me a few places where they could be at. So a little digging and I got it. He had the key made well before the end of the day and within the time I needed my vehicle again. Wow... I left the house to go grab a coffee at Starbucks and unknown to me the house door locked behind me. I found Amdahl's on my Yelp application and was called back within 5 short minutes! Chris was here within a half hour and had the door unlocked for me... what a relief! I work at home so it was a bit important to get into the house and thanks to Chris I had very minimal disruption in my work day. I explained an issue I had with my ignition to the woman on the phone, and she asked specific questions to get to the answer I needed. She said she would call me back after she spoke with Chris, and she did almost immediately. The information she gave me was very helpful, and I would definitely call them again. Great service! My keys were locked in my car, and I contacted the number. A very nice lady answered and informed me that Chris would be there to unlock my car within 15 minutes. I have read the other reviews regarding the lady on the phone, and I think for a business that is run by a husband and wife for 25 years do an amazing job for a two people operation. I was locked out of my house and it was freezing cold outside. I looked on yelp for a close locksmith and Chris's business came up. I called the number and was connected to a very nice lady on the phone and she was very sympathetic to my situation she scheduled for Chris to immateriality arrive at my house and let me in.
