When I needed to add keys to three sliding doors on the houseboat, these guys asked a lot of questions up front and I also sent photos. They weren't able to help, but they did a lot of legwork on my behalf. So, I appreciated them nevertheless. Turns out, the part I needed for each door was $12 at menards. We just had the BEST experience here. Got a new key for our 2019 Mitsubishi which the dealer said would cost an insane amount. Minnesota Locks was able to get us a key... the kind I wanted without the Fob.. just a key to open the door and turn on the ignition for a whole lot less. I am sure they could get you a Fob too. I just didnt want one. What nice people too. We did not use the mobile service but went to their building on South Robert in St. Paul. Easy to find. THANKS so much!!! I just locked my keys in my van. I called at 5pm. Justin was here in minutes. Literally 3 minutes later he had it open. From the time I called to, when he was done was maybe 10 minutes. Obviously he happened to be close. I locked out. Lol! Lucked out. I thought it was gonna cost twice and much as it did. Definitely recommend MN locks. I've actually been in their shop many times. These guys offer superior quality of service. They were so helpful and went beyond expectations. I've used them to install deadbolts on my house, replace old doorknobs with new ones keyed for my existing keys as well as copy keys. They offer a great service at a great price. A little mix on the "grumpyness level" of the guys behind the counter, but the woman aims to please and the two younger guys behind the counter this afternoon were great. Price couldn't be beat either: $2/key to get Dodge blanks I bought on Amazon cut. Only downside was that their website gave open Saturday hours, but when I got there they have no weekend hours (except emergency calls). -- Not sure, those hours could have been from Google. read more
