I was very impressed with the professional quality of their work. The paint matched perfectly, (black truck). You could see the attention to detail by looking at the finished product. I was equally impressed of how Jim dealt with State Farm insurance on my behalf. I scraped the entire passenger side of the bed of the truck and a portion of the front side bumper. State Farm estimated the damage at $1,470.00, sending me a check in the amount of $470.00 the total of their estimate minus my $1,000.00 deductible. After Chris' body and paint did a more professional estimate the amount of the damage came in at approximately $5,900.00 Jim did the negotiations with State Farm who actually paid $4,900.00 and returned the truck to me in pristine condition. My daughter wrecked her Jeep, as I live in Layton and she lives in Sandy I had great concern about choosing a Body Shop close to her. After reading about and calling multiple shops I found Chris's and they did a 5 star job from beginning to end. They picked the Jeep up exactly on time. As for the guy who made the statement about them not accepting a certain insurance company--let me ask you this. Would you condone an insurance company telling you exactly how to run your business? I damaged my sweet old Town Car by backing into a gate with a rear door open jamming it to not open or close easily. Went to Chris Auto Body and paint for an estimate determined not to pay hundreds for the repair. Robert came out took a look and then went back in to grab a couple of steel sockets. After placing them between the door and pressing the door. he had it working perfectly. shook my hand and did not charge me anything. that's not the first time I got super service from that shop now a fan of that shop. In the process of making an estimate, Mike saw the dislodged weather seal which was the problem I wanted repaired. He took the time to roll it back into the door channel. He made certain it was secure. Then he explained to me the process of how it had become dislodged and how I can return it myself in the future if it happens again. He refused any kind of payment. I have been going to Chris' Body & Paint for over 30 years now and I can honestly say they have ALWAYS been great to work with and they only want to do the BEST job possible. Worked with Robert on my last car accident and per usual great customer service, great job on my car and would definitely go back. I would recommend them to anyone I know. My hinge on my hood of my car was damaged and broken. Chris's fixed the hinge and took all parts off and reblanced the hood so that the seams are even.
