I backed out of our garage and hit a board on the edge of our driveway which popped off the front panel of our car. I tired to pop it back into place but could not get it to fit right. I slid into a snow embankment in the Big Cottonwood scraping paint, denting my quarter panel and tearing a strip of my fender clean off all about 2 weeks after deciding to drop my auto insurance to liability only The same money issues that made me try and balance my budget by cutting back on insurance made me think I could just live with the damage but a couple months in Utah's winter and the quarter panel started to rust. Bad. So I started checking around and was shocked at what body shops wanted ($3500-4000) to cut out and replace the rust damage. Then I went to Price Body &Paint and met Wayne who agreed to sand it down and repaint for less than half the other bids. Its still new so we'll see if any rust comes back through over the next couple years but for now it looks like brand new. Wayne did an amazing job! He worked around my schedule doing the work while my husband was on vacation so we could still manage my work and the kids's school. I forgot to contact them on Friday for the pickup and in a panic left a message after hours. Stan called me back Saturday morning and then drove down to the shop on his day off so that I could pay and pickup my vehicle. They really went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone needing work down on their cars! read more

It's always so hard to find a good, trustworthy body shop. These guys are incredible. It was quick and the new bumper looks great! It cost me less than they had originally quoted and were so encouraging to let them know if I have any problems with it. We had a wrecked car sitting in our street for at least a month. Price came to tow the car and for that I am grateful. So their guy stands there smoking a cigarette and then throws the butt in front of the house. For those of us that don't smoke, that is the grossest litter. Then, I have to go out and sweep up that crap. Also, the guy left big obvious car parts in the yard. Unimpressed. read more

I just picked up four parts for my BMW K1300GT that I had Price Body & Paint repair and paint. They did an outstanding job. The side and top cases look brand new. I can't even tell where the scratch was on the fairing they repaired. Great family business that treats people right! read more

If at all possible I would not support any services provided by Price body and paint. The dealings I had with Doug, the owner, leave me with the conclusion that he is largely and genuinely concerned by one thing, making money, and ensuring he has a fat wallet. read more

Following a minor traffic accident, the police officer who arrived at the scene called for a tow truck. When the tow truck was asked to tow the car to our favorite place just 2.3 miles away, he told my wife that it would be $25. He refused a check, only accepting cash and then said it would be free to tow 2.0 miles to Price Towing's location. No other fees or charges were mentioned. She agreed. The next morning, I called Price Towing, and was informed that it was not free but $310 for towing, fees, and storage. In a follow up call, I was told that my wife must have been mistaken about "free" and $25 cash quote. He told me he could not believe his driver would do that. He defended calling it "free" as "most insurance policies cover towing." I believe the following section of Utah Administrative Code were violated: 1) According to section R909-19-10 ("Information Required on Towing Receipt") "Charges for services provided must be clearly reflected on a company receipt and a copy shall be provided to the customer. The receipt must include the following information: (a) company name; (b) address; (c) phone number; (d) transportation, administration, fuel surcharge, and storage fees charged; (e) name of company driver; (f) unit number; (g) license plate of the towed vehicle; (h) make, model, Vehicle Identification Number, and year of the towed vehicle; and (i) start and end time with total hours for services provided." Absolutely no receipt was given. 2) According to the Utah Consumer Bill of Rights Regarding Towing, the bill of rights "must be given by the tow company to anyone whose vehicle has been towed." Price failed to do so. 3) Again, according to the Utah Consumer Bill of Rights Regarding Towing, "The consumer has the right to know they are being charged an appropriate fee." Obviously, in this case Price failed, miserably. So in summary, Price Towing acted at worst unethically, misleading innocent consumers. At worst, they violated the laws as outlined above. read more
