I wish I could write a good review. The only thing I would change about my wedding was the DJ. Please read before you hire. First, his assistant got drunk at my wedding and actually fell. It was very unprofessional. He drank the alcohol that I was providing for my guest as described by my bartender. He was wasted by the end of the night. I was disgusted by that. He later explained that it was a diabetic episode, but I have many family members in the medical field that could have assisted. I clearly saw him drinking alcohol all night, so he just keeps spewing lies. Second, as the bride I think what I say should be what happens. I wanted the wedding to hurry along so that I could go out & mingle with my guests. I asked him to move up being announced & he argued with me about it. He finally gave in & announced us like 20 minutes a head of schedule. Once we got out there he told me the food wasn't ready. He had the audacity to tell me "I told you that you had to wait, this is why you should have listened". My food was catered by a very close family friend & I asked them if the food was late. My friend said no that they were ahead of schedule for me. So he lied about that. Again, very unprofessional. Finally, the music was not what I wanted. He kept playing 80s music which was very low on my priority list. My guests asked him to change it & he told them no. My guests had to ask me to go ask to have the music changed. I was not very happy about this. I will say that he had very good equipment. That's probably the only compliment that I can give. read more

Thank you so much to Chris Christopher Entertainment for being an awesome emcee and and providing the awesome music for my wife and I's backyard wedding at a family friend's house earlier this month. Not only did he set the tone of the ceremony to our liking with the songs that we chose for all the key moments, but he was an amazing emcee throughout the cocktail hour and food service while playing sweet jazz music and music from the 70s and 80s. I had sent a playlist the night before I had put together with both my wife and I's suggestions and he truly set the tone of the dance portion of the reception with the songs we chose. A couple of days after the ceremony, according to our family friend, she said the neighbors a couple of houses down really enjoyed hearing the music that night. I was a groomsmen at my friends wedding a couple of weekends ago. I requested a few songs he told me no. He was very rude about it. I had to ask the bride and groom to request a song. I had to go find them and take them away from their wedding to get a song played. His assistant was very very rude. I also think he was drinking all night. I saw him drinking and was telling me all about his girlfriend breaking up with him. He was slurring his words too. It seemed very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this company. read more

Me(manny) and my fiancé (Samantha) had sent a deposit of 350$ for his services in June for our wedding that we were planning on having next year on may 10th 2025. He referred us to his daughter Monique who does wedding planning and was going to help us with our planning. We sent her a deposit of 1000$ also in June. My fiancé had a scheduled operation in July 9th where unfortunately she passed away July 19th after falling into a coma. While dealing with all the stress and pain of losing my partner I reached out to some of our event organizers to try and recover some of our deposits to help with expenses that would be coming up. Many of our other vendors sent back full refunds with out any hesitation. Chris and his daughter on the other hand ignored my messages. Even after his daughter Monique had agreed to send back the deposit next week. She too eventually stopped responding to my messages. I have enough on my plate the last thing I need is to deal with this right now. I write this review because I think this is absolutely unprofessional at least respond to your clients and let them know you won't be refunding them. read more

Hello, it took me some time to start this review (have been super busy). On May 14th. I was blessed with a sponsored birthday celebration. When I received the notice I was told, "since you the one who is going to be honored please put it together you the only one who knows how your party should look like" ‍‍‍‍. Then rushed to put together my 50th birthday party. It was so much difficult to put it together since we were dealing with the pandemic and State orders. For a second I thought not to have anything since there were too many precautionary measures to follow, rules, venues not being able to give us a price, etc. etc. I have a great circle of support who encouraged me to do it on a small scale (35 guests only and restricted only to family members only ). Music being number #1 thing I decided to give Yelp a try. Sent my request and received like 5 text messages from different DJs. Since DJ Chris told me "we almost have the same age, I know I exactly what are you looking for" I was like ok, you are the one. He also offered a picture booth as a combo (this is a MUST). For me punctuality is a priority, DJ Chris was early to set up. Soundproof was done earlier and he was fully set to go before we opened doors. The picture booth was a blast. He was very professional and provided MC services as well. Even though it was a very small party everything turned to be great as planned. Being bilingual is a plus because he was able to connect with everyone. Just make sure to give a specific list with your preferred music (exactly what you need- name, version, artist, etc) otherwise you will be a bit disappointed with the versions he select for you (too many variations of the same song). Our wedding was at Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, CA on Nov 16, 2018. We met Chris while getting a tour of our future wedding venue. He was there setting up for a wedding that day and we observed how early he was there setting up and making sure that all the sound was on point before that day's wedding. As he set-up we asked him questions and we could not help observe how he would light up when discussing his set up, the quality of chord-less sound and how important it was to help the bride and groom feel like all was taken care of when it came to the timing, the music, guiding guests, and every detail of the wedding ceremony. His passion for his role at the wedding and attention to details was what sold us on making Chris part of our future wedding. As we prepared for our upcoming wedding, Chris always made it a point to be in constant communication with us and confirming our plans. He initiated getting our music list and preferences ready for our ceremony and reception. I highly recommend getting him this info as soon as you can so that he can make sure to have it ready and you will be less stressed as the day approaches. On the day of the wedding, Chris was there with his assistant setting up with plenty of time before the ceremony. He was very professional and dressed really well for the occasion. He worked closely with our wedding coordinator and both of them timed the music and the process of the ceremony perfectly. All I had to do as the bride is walk up to my starting point and Chris clearly explained how it would all go and assured me that all I had to do was trust him. He took all the stress away and I was able to walk down the aisle enjoying every moment he had curated with the music we had chose. Great DJ. He is very responsive and worked with us within our budget. We had to only have "clean radio versions" of songs and he was able to accommodate that. He played music that our whole crowd enjoyed, and we had people in their 90's and kids and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend him as a DJ. Unfortunately, our caterers were running a bit behind , but with Chris's quick thinking we were able to move some things around so we wouldn't be behind schedule. Do not recommend thier services!! Highly disappointed with the DJ and his actions. He was extremely unprofessional asking about his final payment twice before the wedding started, once while the wedding party was about to walk out, and then right as the bride and myself had just sat down and our dinner was being served in front of us at the reception. The music volume was way to soft where many people couldn't hear the music for the ceremony and the volume for the speeches was also weak. Several times guests, including the bride, requested songs to be played and they were ignored. We gave a substantial list of songs and artists to be played that were never played. He also announced that a fight was taking place out front in the middle of the garter song and completely ruined it. When requested to play the garter again, it was ignored. Also, our wedding planner informed us that he was upset because he didn't receive a tip and she was asked to talk to us about it. You get a tip at the end of the service if you did a good job, not in the middle. After hearing that, it made sense why song requests were ignored and as the night progressed the music started to suck. What we were sold on was an amazing experience and we just did not get that. Its not a good sign when the other vendors are complaining about how rude the services provided were. read more

Dj Chris was my Dj for the wedding. Not only was it in short notice, but from start to finish, everything was spot on. Let me start of by pointing out he was at the banquet hall early. Set up his equipment, sound check, photo booth and went over the timeline of how the ceremony along with reception was going to follow. He was dressed to impress, has great communication skills in english and spanish which as a plus at my wedding! Even though on my part, we fell back on our timeline, Dj Chris kept the guest entertained, involved the kids, and did his part of being the master of ceremony back on track. ÷I am the Mother of the Bride of the wedding of 11/13/2015 at Knotts berry farm And am so shocked at what awful service this DJ gave from the second the music started and introduction of the wedding party, I went up to him as hIe introduce most of the party with wrong names and the last people as the bride and groom, I said you need to introduce them again as they are not in the room, he said Oh!! Really. The music was very loud and not ran smooth at all, I believe he was at the bar more then at his station. He was Awful. Awful . AWFUL !!!! He is blaming OTHERS or using excuses but he is not at all a professional DJ. The he has only 1 bad review is because he gets the bad ones taken down. Do not waste you money. I've attended events with DJ Chris Christopher as the DJ in the recent past and found him and his company to provide very professional services. I tend to pay attention to a lot of details. First, all his equipment is,top notch and new or newer. That's important especially for weddings and nicer events. Appearance is key. He's got everything you need to provide a great show. Clean sounding audio, wireless uplighting, custom gobo lights, etc. He gave the crowds what they wanted to hear and packed the dance floor all night. The bottom line is everyone was having fun. Almost everything went wrong at my wedding. He was lagging hardcore and his Playlist sucked so bad. His stupid microphone wasn't working when I specifically requested for 2 mics when my bridesmaid and I were supposed to perform a special number. I got my groomsmen and some guests talking crap on how horribly he did. When I requested to play tribute to my late brother in law and friend, he didn't even play the songs I wanted in honor of them. We didn't do several things on the timeline including the MONEY DANCE because of his shitty horrible laggy job. I don't know what I was thinking hiring him. He did horribly. He ruined my special day. I've had an extraordinary experience with Chris!! My family is not the dancing type. So much so that I really worried about even having a reception for my wedding. When I first spoke to Chris he made me feel better about having the party. He told me that he would make my day and make sure everyone had fun. After talking to him I felt so much better. I gave him a few songs just to give him an idea of what we wanted to hear and he did play my selections. We chose some songs that we were sure some family members would get up and dance to but we were wrong. Chris read the crowd and made some changes getting people to get on the dance floor. But wait there is more! I was really bummed that our budget did not allow for purchasing Roman candles. Chris then gave the crowd confetti poppers. Or grand entrance as husband and wife was extraordinary!!! The crowd really was impressed they loved the foam glow sticks and the kids loved the glowing ears! Chris went above and beyond in making our day spectacular. He had an open dialogue with our photographer and they helped with the crowd and because of that we have wonderful family and friend photographs. If ever I have another even Chris will definitely be our DJ!!!! This man goes above and beyond his duties and super professional. We got married January 2nd and I'm still getting compliments on the DJ! Just today my coworker said I love the songs he played such a great selection! Even a friend at the wedding hired him and she is extremely pleased! P.S. My friends hired him for their wedding. I was a guest and could really appreciate his work from a different perspective. I saw how he was really calm when the couple was super nervous because their time tables was out of wack. He wrestled the crowd when he had to. Commanding a tone of authority. He controled where the crowd should be. When the couple was busy doing the wedding pictures, dance and absolutely everything else. DJ Chris was by far the PERFECT DJ for us. He was the first DJ we met in person, and we knew we needed to look no further. He was incredibly flexible to arrange meeting times and locations, and he was our most responsive vendor throughout the planning process. We had a multi-cultural wedding requiring a unique mix of music, and DJ Chris didn't even flinch at our request. We merely provided him with a list of our preferred foreign songs, and he had them downloaded and ready to review in detail at our next meeting. We used his online planning tool to create lists of must play songs and indicate special requests for introductions, first dances, fading pieces, etc. Chris executed everything we requested to a T on the night of our wedding, and our dance floor was PACKED all night. His dance lights made for some great party pictures, and everyone commented on what a great job he did. Our parents were pleased with what an excellent, humble host he was and how in-tune he was to the mood of the crowd. At the end of the night, he played the last song, only to still have all of our remaining guests on the dance floor begin chanting "ONE MORE, ONE MORE!" He immediately cued another great dance song, sending everyone out on a high note. We loved working with Chris, and would use him again in a heartbeat if we could do our wedding again.
