Chris the clown is AMAZING!!! we had him for my sons first birthday party at Bay view golf course and im glad we did. He came half hour early to set up and stayed throughout the whole 4hours of the party. He provided us with excellent music and wonderful entertainment! He catered to the children but was able to include the adults in his shows. He makes amazing balloon figures and was able to provide every child with more then one balloon as well as tattoos and stickers!! By the end of the party my guests were all asking me where i found him and couldnt stop raving about his performance and show! I will definatly hire him at our future event and recommend him to other family's having events. read more

Just had Chris da Clown for my son's 1st birthday party & he was awesome! GREAT entertainment for the kids & adults too! He was the highlight of the party and had everyone laughing. Super awesome balloons that he provided for his "show" and I love the way he conducted each contests between the kids, keeping everything fair. Horrible experience with Chris Da Clown at a child's birthday party. He was abrupt and abrassive with a group of children while making balloon animals/figures. He snapped at a young autistic boy at the party for being loud and yelled for the boy's mother to control her child. The mother was humiliated, the boy was in tears, and the other adults present were shocked and angered by the way he handled the situation. I emceed the event and Chris Da Clown attempted to take the microphone several times to address the party during non-entertainment times which was inappropriate and unprofessional. If allowed, he would have been a total control freak. His entertainment show was marginal, nothing exceptional. Balloon sculptures were big and eye catching and some children were excited to participate for a chance to win one of several from his show. But after witnessing the way he conducted himself, several other parents and I refused to allow our children to interact with him - we didn't trust he would speak respectfully to our keiki. Overall, I would NOT recommend Chris Da Clown as entertainment for a child's party based on his lack of professionalism, extreme rudeness, impatience with children, lack of tact, and only so-so quality of show. Spend your money on better entertainment for your event - face painters, temporary tattoo artists, balloon sculpting, magicians, caricature artists, or even a mobile video game theater. read more

I hired Chris da Clown for my daughter's first birthday. The decision was based on referrals, yelp, and price. Chris was very easy to work with and very flexible when it came to the party schedule and what we wanted him to do for the party. Chris provided the sound system, emcee duties, balloon animals, and a show at what I feel is a pretty good rate. Chris da Clown's show comprised of fun and interactive games for the keikis and had a lot of funny jokes that made the adults laugh. The balloon animals/objects he created were also pretty cool. Chris da Clown is the best! We had him at a 1st birthday 4 years ago and again just this weekend for our other child. His show is so funny for both kids and adults. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Even hard to please Tweens. We really appreciate the positive message about always being a winner as long as you try. He also did MC duties which was a great help to take some stress off of us plus he's just hilarious! He already knows all the housekeeping since he has already been there countless times. And he has all his own sound equipment which is great if you have music for a slideshow. read more

Chris Da Clown is not cheap, but when it comes down to making sure party entertainment goes right and everyone leaves with a smile on their face then its all worth it, especially for the birthday child. It was quick and easy working with Chris. We only had a small window for the party (2 hrs) and Chris had no problem making a custom program to fit the party. In fact, he was the party in our case. From the start of the party he was doing balloons and joking with the kids; while the kids were eating lunch he was still doing balloons and joking with everyone; he put on a customized (20-25 minute) program with games after lunch; and even took the lead for the cake and the singing of Happy Birthday. He made a last minute party for my nephew a big success with his preschool classmates and their parents. Chris has been doing this for years and kid's love him. Nuff said! read more

I first saw Chris Da Clown perform at a first birthday party back in 2013. I wanted to hire him for my older daughter's first birthday, unfortunately he was booked. Now, two years later he was able to perform for my younger daughter's first birthday last night (3/12/16). First off, if you want him for your party, book him as soon as possible. Two months after giving birth, I booked him for the event. Sounds kinda crazy but I really wanted him to perform at my party. Chris Da Clown engaged everyone in his performance. The kids AND adults had so much fun. The best part is that there is always a winner! Kids were competing along with their parents and regardless of who wins or lose they are both winners. One of the balloons that stuck out was the Arlo (Good Dinosaur movie) balloon. All the kids loved it! Thank you Chris for making my daughter's party unforgettable. Chris Da Clown was awesome today ay my son's 1st Birthday Party. He was so funny that I had at least 10 people come up to me after the party to ask where I had found him. The kids (ages 2-10) completely enjoyed his games and balloon creations. One of my friends at the party said that he was worth every dollar. I agree. This was my fourth time watching his show, and every time he makes me crack up. He will be a hit at any kid's birthday party. I am disappointed to read some negative comments from others. If you can relax and enjoy his show, you will find that his jokes are exactly that, just jokes. Live a little! read more

Chris da Clown was very entertaining and funny. Great for audiences of all ages. He is very engaging and everyone at my son's birthday party loved him. He went to all the tables (and we had 20+ tables at Sheraton) and gave the kids balloons, made everyone laugh, and his show is very entertaining with audience participation. Chris has been around forever, he even performed at my party when I was a little girl and he is continuing to make my family and myself laugh. I have been to many parties with Chris and he keeps the show fresh and exciting. I have never really been a fan of clowns, but now, I can honestly say that clowns just make everything better!! Chris da Clown performed at my daughter's first birthday party, and he was A-MA-ZING!!!! Like many moms, I was super stressed on the day of the party, and everything that could wrong did. My hubby and I were completely behind the planned scheduled (yes, I actually had an agenda for the party!!), but Chris da Clown was like, "no worries...that's why I only do one party a day!" Seeing my utter despair, he then quietly said to me, "I have a 'chill pill' if you need one and then gave me a wink and a hug" -- what an awesome clown and human being!! After the quick sanity check with me, he went about entertaining our guests with the balloon creations of their choice. He was a huge hit, and I got lots of compliments on his show! His balloons were unbelievable!!! I was so impressed by his "laxed" attitude at the party, yet the professional way he handled business leading up to the event -- and to top it off, he even sent a "mahalo" card to us for using his service after the party! I attended a baby's first birthday party about two years ago where Chris da Clown performed. He was so funny for kids (and adults), that my husband and I talked about using him if we ever had a child. Fast forward two years later and we were blessed with a wonderful daughter who just turned 1, two weeks ago. I must admit that right before my daughter's birthday luau, I was a bit concerned after reading some of the previous negative posts from other reviewers. However, the party turned out absolutely wonderfully! Chris da clown was engaging, funny, and overall sent a positive message to the children who participated-you're always a winner if you try. The kids had a blast and I lost count of all of our family and friends who commented that Chris da Clown was beyond entertaining and that it was one of the best birthday parties they have been to. Needless to say my husband and I were so relieved that the party turned out great after all the stress and anxiety of planning a special birthday party for our daughter. Chris Da Clown is THE best! I was so excited when I found out he was available for my daughters 1st birthday party. He definitely was the highlight of the party. Biggest balloon prizes I've ever seen & he had a great message which is "you are always a winner as long as you try". Very easy to contact. He offered to bring his whole PA system, some contemporary hawaiian music because we didn't have a "live band", he made balloons throughout the whole party & even walked around to each table making balloons and conversing with the guests, he was also our MC at the party. Very kid friendly & his "contests" are so fun! its activities that kids love to do for example: who can put an entire sheet of stickers on their mom/dads face. the contests were very cute & age appropriate. I am a very picky person, especially when choosing entertainment, because they are the people representing your party & I will say that Chris was THE best he made our party, a party :) read more
