Requested HECO to come out and discovered the 100 amp breaker melted the plastic behind it and basically fell apart. Requested an electrician on Memorial Day and Johny responded very quickly and came out right away. Obviously checked the reviews prior to requesting him. Anyways, by just providing him a picture he could tell just the breaker needed replacing instead of the whole panel, which would've costed thousands. Johny is super knowledgeable and friendly. He ended up checking all my breakers and if there were any overload. Basically made sure everything is safe and up to par. Got everything done within an hour including having HECO come back to reenergize my house. Everything is back to normal again. So thank you very much Johny and Grand Hawaii Electric. In its place i wanted to install track light above the railing to make it easy to switch out the lights. The second and third was to install an outdoor flood light and from there an outdoor weatherized outlet. Contacted Sparky and Jerry responded quickly. I provided pictures and such and when I was ready we did a site walk. He shared options of what we can do as well shared any issues. Quoted me at the end of the day and schedule the job a few days later. The day of, Sparky and Sons (total 3 of them) came in and put together a safe scaffold to remove both light fixtures and smoke detector and covered with a blank plate. Then installed the track lighted to my direction. on the outside, flood light, outdoor weather switch, and outdoor weather outlet was installed to my direction by tapping into an existing outlet in the kitchen and running it outside. They did a great job and was very professional as Jerry was instructing his son's ensuring everything was visually pleasing. One thing i truly respected was the clean up as electricians are known to leave "poop" (wire ends) all over the place. Jerry ensured this was cleaned up and threw away all trash leaving it as good or better than when they started. They did a great job, price was very reasonable, and the end result i am very happy with.

If you are considering hiring him, here are the factual issues I have experienced since the installation: Defective Zones: Immediately following his maintenance visit, the sprinklers in Zone #2 stopped popping up entirely. As my videos and photos show, the heads just sit at ground level and sputter water directly into the dirt and rocks, forcing me to manually water the area. Inconsistent Coverage: The new spiral heads fail to provide even water distribution. Despite regular watering schedules, the yard now has several clearly visible brown, under-watered spots right next to perfectly green, healthy grass. Poor Professional Advice: When I reached out regarding the dry spots, Toby's recommendation was to drastically increase the watering time to 24-30 minutes per zone.

I couldn't even figure out how to stop the water from coming out and within minutes water was pouring down the stairs and leaking into the floors below the kitchen. After calling everyone I could think of, including the board of water supply, with no one providing any help, I typed in "plumbers" into Yelp and started cold calling down the list. First Class Plumbing was the third company listed but the first one that seemed to care. I was warned that I was calling after hours so I'd have an emergency fee if I wanted service now... I joked "fine - this is an emergency" and was told I'd get a call back as soon as they could get ahold of one of their plumbers. I went back to trying to heave buckets of water into a nearby sink and received a call back 15 minutes later. The plumber was so calm, and after hearing that I was still dealing with gushing water, explained to me how to stop the water flow. He asked me to send him pictures of the burst pipe and the faucet and got off the phone to price everything out including replacing the pipes and faucet. After doing all that work he told me what the cost would be and then said it was no worries if given the price I didn't want to continue on - or at least wait until it wasn't an emergency (an extra $150 charge). I said I definitely wanted the service and he came right out and fixed the burst pipe. I would already have been raving about this place for their competent service if it had been a normal scheduled appointment. But the fact that this company and the plumber were there for me when no one else was, and went above and beyond walk me through how to stop the problems and extremely quickly look into part costs for me before I ever even agreed to the service has made me a loyal customer forever!

Expecting a family to shower without a door is unrealistic. A shower door is a simple surface-level addition and has no impact on plumbing, waterproofing, or the behind-the-wall work that later failed. Multiple professionals have since confirmed that the leak originated inside the wall, not from anything we installed afterward. I'm adding this update so future customers are not misinformed by the business owner's assumptions. My original concerns remain the same.
