We've worked with both Chris and George over the last year on our garage door and they are great. The first issue we just had some strange things happening with the door randomly opening, not wanting to shut, etc. Chris came out, made some adjustments and answered a bunch of questions we had about it. We were convinced our door was dying and might need replacing but he reassured us that even though it was older, just wait until something actually happens because everything else looked good. I appreciated his honesty and transparency and he never was pushy about trying to upsell us (quite the opposite, actually). The more recent interaction was this past week. The spring snapped when I was taking out the trash (haha- maybe I'm off the hook for that now???). The door wouldn't open at all and I had to go into the office the next day. Even though it was around 8pm, we shot them a text and received a response early the next morning and they were able to schedule a time in the early afternoon. They were running early and were actually able to get to work much earlier than the appointment time (yay!) and get us squared away. We worked with George this time and he was great as well- took a look at the rest of the system to make sure things were good and was on his way. They didn't try to upsell, just provided the information about the different types of springs that could be installed and let us decide. If/when we do need to replace the full unit, I will definitely give these guys a call. They have been super responsive, knowledgeable, and get the work done quickly even when pressed for time. read more

Good people honest prices. Did take him a few days to hit me back but... I get it everyone is short handed

We first worked with Chris' Garage Doors when our garage door stopped opening. Chris responded to my voicemail same-day (on a weekend!) and got me scheduled for a Monday afternoon fix. On Monday morning, I got a call that they could arrive early, which was wonderful. The two technicians were extremely professional and courteous, diagnosed a broken spring, and had it replaced in a half hour for a reasonable price. Also extremely patient as I asked them lots of questions about garage doors (#garagenoob) When we decided to upgrade our 20 year old, very loud garage opener/motor, Chris was our go-to. Again, he responded promptly to my voicemail, got me scheduled for an install in 2 days, and Chris himself had the opener installed in under an hour. Responded to my initial request for a repair estimate in less than one hour. Chris was very thorough and provided me with several options for my project. He called prior to coming to perform the repair and was right on time. He was very professional, efficient and fast. Start to finish it took only an hour and a half to complete the project. Super positive experience with technician George. We were able to get an appt in a very reasonable time frame to replace our garage door opener. I wasn't sure if it was the opener, or perhaps the door was off kilter. All I knew was that it sounded horrible and I had to disconnect it to manually open and close it. Good intake questions led to me sharing that we had a taller door than average and so they were able to make sure they had the right type of opener on their truck, should they find that I really did need a replacement. Which I did. George was great. He had finished his prior job a bit earlier and called to ask if he could come to my house sooner, which worked for me. He did great work... was super informative and he was also very clean in terms of covid and following protocols. I hope the other opener doesn't go out on our other door, but if it does... Accidently tried to open the garage door with the sliding lock in place, not a good idea. Chris answered quickly, arrived promptly and with his assistant, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in no time.
