When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He came out to explain the types of jerky and the "false crack" jerky was a silent spicy where it won't hit you till later. That was enough to scare me into not trying it lol. There was a wall of beef jerky chips. They also sell popcorn, local snacks, and shirts. There's a large selection of jerky and they have a new brisket jerky that looked really yummy. I went for safe options since I can't handle spicy. I got the paniolo ranch (he explained that his wife likes to crumble it and use it as a salad topping) and the garlic crunch (popular out of the non-spicy optionEach package of jerky is vacuumed sealed and comes with a huge piece of homemade jerky. Each beef jerky chip is $12.95. The brisket is $24 because it's double the weight of the chips. Buy 6 bags of jerky and get $1 off each bag. Located in a small shopping area with 7-11 and Tanioka's nearby, there is a small parking lot with rows of parking available, but some stalls are reserved for certain stores.

Thankfully this tiny but mighty market exists. Do I hope for a better selection of prepared foods and a few more farmers/ vegetable vendors? Of course I do! I also believe in my heart that they will come back if the customer base grows. This market is held from 3-5pm every Friday. It is currently three produce stands, one juice stand, and two people with ready made food. The space allows for quite a few more tables, and the customers that are there are all happy to have the chance to shop and possibly take home a quick meal. My guess is that they are all in the same mindset as me- loving the idea that I can have the freshest possible salad for dinner and a few things to snack on for the next few days. Prices are excellent, with all three of the vendors currently offering a deal of three small bags of vegetables for $5. I find that we spend $20- $30 every week and have enough to last us the weekend. Cash is preferred, though I believe that everyone currently take cards. Also remember your shopping bags or basket, because juggling tomatoes and long beans is not easy. There's plenty of parking in the lot or on the street, and the shopping center is obviously filled with stores that will help you fill out your Friday evening desires. The Friday Fresh Market is a fantastic asset to the neighborhood, and has the potential to be even better.

If it's been raining lots then don't count on there being a big crowd.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been very disappointing. I placed an order for 12 bags on July 18, and as of July 30, it has been 12 days with no delivery or meaningful update. During that time, I emailed the company four separate times asking for a status update and never received a single response. The Shop app still only says "Waiting for details." It's especially frustrating because I'm a repeat customer who has happily supported this business over the years. Their beef chips are excellent, but great products alone aren't enough. Reliable communication and customer service matter just as much. If you're considering ordering, just be aware that while the product is delicious, the shipping and customer service may not meet the same standard.

On our most recent visit we bought some random produce for super cheap (of course) and also stopped at the Soak 'n Smoke vendor who sells fresh fish blocks or cooks fish filets in front of you to make a plate lunch. The Ono sautéed in garlic butter was super yummy! He also sells smoked meats and dried aku which I wanna try next time. The Hawaiian Style Chili Co. is usually there as well, but they usually setup after 11a so we missed them last time. We did try their scampi, ahi steak, and roast pork once, which were pretty good. The Ocean dim sum guys are always setup early, but after a few tries, I'm not sure I'd go back for more. This is the same folks in Waipahu, at their brick and mortar next to Thelma's. It's not the best dim sum, but I guess it's okay if you're hungry! It was a little sketchy to see shrimp look fun rolls out in the open...I would pass on that. We'll be back again soon to get produce for the week, and hopefully try a different food item next time!

Very easy to find, off the freeway heading north on Kunia Rd and it will be on the next stoplight past Walmart, making a left on Anonui Street. You can't miss it because there's a huge sign and banners on the corner it is located on. There is plenty of parking attended by a couple of friendly parking attendants directing your way. There is a covered area with several picnic tables near the entrance as well as 2 porta potties. The market itself is not very big and housed in one small but long building. There are a few vendors on the porch area selling flavored water, baked goods, honey, and other goodies. Upon entering the building, the majority of produce will be to your right. To the far left is the checkout area. They accept bankcard and cash. Most of the items are packaged with signs and prices by each type of produce. The display of produce is neatly laid out and well-stocked. They even provide rolling shopping baskets for your convenience. Today they were having a 4th of July special on their sweet corn - buy 4 bags, get 1 free. The table was packed full when I arrived & in less than a half hour, it was empty. I was fortunate to grab a bag. Prices were reasonable and comparable to other farmer's markets. They were also selling Waialua cage-free jumbo eggs, 1 dzn for $6 and also Kauai shrimp in 2 sizes. Cashiers were very friendly and personable. Even though there was a line, both cashiers worked fast and efficiently. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan on repeat visits to check out seasonable items. Good location, affordable prices, fresh produce, friendly staff - go check it out and support local!

They do have parking attendants on site to help direct traffic. I just wanted to look around but Aunty went give me one basket cart so I was like OK den I guess I better buy some stuff. Got some veggies like Shanghai cabbage, tomatoes, Japanese cucumber, sweet corn, and green onion. They had waialua eggs too so grabbed some of dat. They had Kauai shrimp in the freezer. The ladies were fast ringing us up and helped bagged our produce. Place was clean and open space. Before the produce on the outside there were other vendors selling honey and baked goods. There was also a food truck as well. All in all, if I like go holoholo Kunia side fo buy fresh veggies, I would come back here.

I went in and stood in line. There were a few people ahead of me so it wasn't too busy. There were 2 women working- one was doing the food and the other was the cashier. As I was standing in line I noticed there were flies in the hot food- however, the chicharron was in its own case that was enclosed and I made sure no flies were in there. When it was my turn the woman who was doing the food didn't even want to acknowledge me. I had to tell the cashier that I wanted one lb of chicharron, then she literally told the food lady right next to her what I wanted. I paid almost $20.00 for one lb of chicharron but the worst part is that food woman didn't even cut it up for me! I literally came home with a slab that I have to cut up myself, all good though. I had to inspect the pork throughly anyways to make sure there were no fly eggs. I absolutely don't recommend this place. Bad service and flies in the hot food area.
