After satisfying my smoothing cravings at Hang's French Cafe & Smoothies which is right next door you know I had to give them a visit and as I walked in I just didn't expect to see so many options to neatly displayed at this cool shop. One wall is filled the snacks the local love and the easy grab and go does take care of cravings instantly along with some Pop Mart items though isn't quite the snack we sure have been eathing up the rave that's been keeping us guessing ourselves. After having lunch at 808 Hawaiian BBQ with friends on a state holiday, it was too early to part ways so we decided to get some dessert. We were at West Loch Station and as we looked up, we noticed Rajah Dat Snack Shop (RDSS) that also cold sweet treats. We were already parked so all we had to do was walk over. RDSS is a chain of snack shops that is located on West Oahu with this original location opening in late 2021 and have expanded to stores in Kapolei and Wahiawa. You can get your local snack fix, as well as poke bowls and cold treats and drinks here. They have shave ice, samurai soft serve but my eyes landed on Dippin' Dots, something I haven't had in YEARS. 3 of my friends got the soft serve, 1 got the shave ice and I ordered dots. We enjoyed our cool treats. I just loved my Dippin' Dots. So much fun to eat and so delicious. I got mint chocolate and cookies and cream. As it was a warm day, majority of us sat on their stools and ate away. However, one of our friends found the stool too tall so she went outside and ate her soft serve on the bench. Service was above average as the 2 male staff were courteous and patient as some of our friends had a difficult time deciding what to get. While checking out their snacks, one member of our group noticed a rice snack with an expiration date 1 day away. This was alarming because you question their inventory monitoring. Overall, a great first experience at RDSS where I'd be game to patronize them again. However, all 3 locations are in West Oahu. The owner is a local guy running a family business and he carries a lot of great local favorites made by local vendors that he let them place their products in his store on consignment bases. A fun local snack shop in Waipahu! Came here because they serve samurai-style sherbet, but unfortunately they didn't have it up and running when we visited. We got the pre-packaged one instead. We used a coupon for shave ice we saw in the Midweek. The keiki sized one is pretty generous! The syrups used are quite fair and not as tasty as Waiola or Ululani's. Great selection of local snacks and desserts. However, many items are not sticker priced or had prices displayed. It deterred me from buying anything since I didn't want to ask how much everything was. Ambiance though was great with fun, upbeat local music and a small area to sit and eat. Cool place ... roger that. We ate lunch at a recently opened local BBQ place in the same strip mall which has around 10 restaurants of all kinds here. Parking was adequate in the early afternoon but I am wondering how hard it may be to park at prime dinner time. Rajah Dat is a snack shop with various mostly local candies and treats. They have some strange stuff on sale too but I will let you discover those on your own. Because my concept of strange may not be as strange as yours. They also vend frozen yogurt. I asked for the frozen blue vanilla flavor which was a 4 out of 5. Not so creamy and flavorful but still pretty good. Just the thing you want on a hot and humid afternoon in August. I think I just found my favorite snack store! Close to our home and the customer service here is great. They are so nice and very patient. My kids do take a long time to order and to decide so I appreciate when people are patient with us lol. Super clean inside. Great atmosphere very welcoming. Never knew this place was located by Pizza hut and Mannys bakeshop in waipahu. Lots of eateries here. After we all had lunch we were looking for a place to have dessert. Came across this place. We came for da snacks. It was our first time here so we had no idea what we were in store for when we decided to order a large shave ice when they say larger, they really mean extra large lol. It was bigger than my head we loved that it didn't melt right away, other shave ice places we've tried tend to liquify as soon as it gets into our hands. We also ordered the premium popcorn. I got the candy popcorn that was stacked on the counter. Tasted ok but I should have ordered the customized popcorn options. Bright and welcoming snack shop located in Waipahu! The lady that helped me was amiable. She was funny! I absolutely loved her energy. They have a LOT in this little shop. There's a bunch of snacks, both sweet and savory. They got Samurai soft serve, Dip n Dots, and Shave ice. They also have drinks and food. I got to try 2 out of the 3 types of poke they have. All of their poke is made to order. The ahi was fresh, and in big pieces. The sauces were perfect, and they don't play with the serving size. I did not expect much from a small shop. This snack shot really is a one stop shop! They've got food which I believe is different daily? They've got snacks, desserts and drinks galore along with my daughters favorite... Dippin dots. We went there in the afternoon after we ate nearby and I was wanting to try the frozen grapes... but was a little hesitant on buying it and it being $8+. There was a lady and a gentlemen working and I heard someone else in the back. It wasn't busy and they were pretty quick with taking my order. My daughter wanted a small cookie dough dippin dots ice cream, but wow... that was over $6 as well with tax :/ Don't get me wrong... This place is amazing and has a lot of great choices... Like most snacks shops here on the island you'll find an array of local seeds and gummy snacks. They also make assorted local flavored popcorns We went there to cool off with their twisted soft serve ice cream. There were only two choices, lychee and strawberry and pineapple and haupia. Not a fan of either combinations. We chose the lychee, strawberry. I was I little disappointed as I was expecting it in a cone, but wasn't given a choice. The presentation was a little sloppy, yet acceptable. The lychee flavor dominated to the point where I couldn't taste anything else. It was a bit too icy in texture for my liking. Staff was helpful asking if we were ready a few times. The mall that they are in has ample parking. In all, I'd probably go back for the snacks. read more

Came at 6:30pm on Saturday night. We got the pineapple and coconut frost and the CC sweet cravings cheesecake bites. 3 bites for $10 seems quite steep but my husband quite liked them. Hidden gem that I found through yelp and glad I did! This shop just opened a while ago and they serve a variety of local snacks and delicious desserts even coffee and plate lunches! Right as you walk in the thing that catches your eyes the most is the snacks. The snacks may be branded with the shop's name but it's on the pricier side, you can get the similar lihing flavored snacks at your local Longs Drugs for cheaper. What caught my eye the most and the reason I came here was for the that iced coffee and dip n dots! I haven't had dip n dots in years and the only other place I can think of that sells them is at Waikele mall so I'm glad there's another shop for it. They have flavors such as banana split, a classic and one of my favorite flavors, cookies and cream, birthday cake and much more. I ordered a medium and it was $7.29 and it looked small, cute cup, pretty pricey and the large was $10 and it also looked so small and cute. I wonder how many ounces each size was because it didn't look like much of a difference. The thai iced coffee was pretty good, tasty, they do put a lot of ice to the top so if you're gonna get a coffee, ask for less ice. They have haupia and pineapple soft serve, we got haupia and it was so good, you can really taste the coconut flavor but it wasn't too overpowering, it was just right. My son and I stopped here to look for freeze-dried candies (the latest fad he's into.) There is a lot of stuff here for such a small location. We were able to find some freeze-dried skittles with li hing mui that turned out to be very good. We also tried out the soft-serve, which was a different texture than usual and came with 2 options of flavor combinations, strawberry-blue vanilla, and pineapple-haupia so we went with the strawberry-vanilla which was good as well. This place also offers different popcorn mixes which we didn't try yet, but plan on going back. read more

Finally checked this place out and it didn't disappoint. If you love li hing candy and island treats this is your one stop snack shop. Had their popcorn and bought some candy; both were satisfying and had the right amount of li hing and lemon peel. Also met the owner of the shop, Roger. Very down to earth and personable. He's also a local-- born and raised in Hawai'i even a better reason to check out this shop. He had mentioned this was his third location, I believe. Happy it's here in Waipahu. Two of us wanted shave ice which is supposed to be a signature item here. Ok, they have no cherry (my favorite), as well as several other flavors. No problem, I then ordered a blended ice boba drink. Ok, the blender dies so no boba drink either! I don't know how you can be a snack shop and your supplies are inadequate to serve your customers.
