The location is really convenient. A 5 minute drive will get you to dozens of places to eat (both unique and chain, sit down or quick service). The cafe and lobby area are very well maintained, and the front desk staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool is small, but clean and maintained perfectly. There's also a hot tub. Looking into the pool area is the workout room. As is generally the case, both require room key to enter. We booked a suite, which had a King bed and a sofa with pullout. Both the bed and the sofa faced a television. The sofa had a larger TV with game station hookups. My only complaint is that the photo and description of the suite showed a pull across room divider (to separate the couch area and bed), which was the primary reason we booked the suite. But there is no room divider at all; it's essentially one big open room. The room had a newer mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was updated and well stocked. The bed was fresh, and comfortable. Marriott could certainly take a few pointers from the Hilton brand - in app check in, app keyless entry, app requests, etc. However, our stay here was perfect and we would certainly stay again.

Not sure why they gave us that, we didn't ask or need it. Only one available at check in I suppose. Pretty clean, comfortable bed as well. Pretty quiet for as busy as it was. Decent sized breakfast each morning. Shower was just ok. Hot water was really good but the pressure was lacking. Mainly due to the shower head/hose setup I think. Closing off parking spacing in the front lot for tractor trailers was notable as it took up a dozen or so spots people could use otherwise. If you're not really familiar with the area here it could be a little confusing getting up to the hotel but it is pretty centrally located to places to eat and places shop close by with others not to far of a drive. Casino is also not too far away. We'd stay here again when in town visiting and recommend it as well. Signs in lobby did say they were going to be doing remodeling soon, fyi....

When we arrived, we received a friendly greeting from the desk agent and they quickly pulled up our reservation and got us checked in. They gave a good overview of the hotel including telling us where the various amenities were and when they are available. She also clearly explained where the elevators were and which direction we would need to head once we got off the elevators. The room itself was clean and well maintained. It was fairly standard, minimalist and modern in its decor. The bed was soft and there were plenty of pillows (although they were a bit thin, but there were enough of them that that wasn't an issue). There is plenty of space in the room and the TV worked well. It was also nice and quiet. I didn't hear other guests or noise from things like the elevators. The breakfast had a lot of great options and was being attended to regularly to refill anything that needed it. Overall, a great place to spend an evening.

Apparently fell on hard times with a fire in the older section since demolished and economic hard times in 2009, the previous owners were forced to sell. Previously called Mountain View Inn, was reopened under new owners at the Inn at Mountainview around 2010. It's still a very nice hotel with very large expansive rooms that were very comfortable. Rooms included a refrigerator, microwave, free Wifi and a large listing on cable with excellent wide screen TV. Service is excellent and there is a business center just off of the lobby. Only complaint was the complimentary continental breakfast which was meager at best but then again, I've found very few complimentary breakfast at any hotel than amounted to anything unless they had a full service restaurant as part of the restaurant. As far as value, it's definitely worth it. Used to be priced at the high end but new owners have priced it competitively and now it falls into the mid-tier range and as such, would highly recommend.

It was conveniently located, accepted pets, and was reasonably priced. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. Although the hotel had an odd smell throughout (possibly mildew or related to pets), I would still stay there again under the same circumstances. The mini fridge worked well, the AC kept the room cold, the shower was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Thank you.

Horrible experience at this location and worse, no follow up from management…read more Booked a last minute room to rest and stay the night after my wife had an evening event. Checked in with my two year old and upon entering the room and getting situated, we found a dirty washcloth in the bed under the comforter. We only needed one bed so i moved to the next one and went to throw it on the floor in the bathroom for the housekeepers the next day. When i turned on the light in the bathroom, it was evident that the toilet had been used post room cleaning as there was residue and hairs on the toilet seat. Knowing we were only staying till morning and not wanting to relocate to another area with our things and my baby, i cleaned it and let it slide. The straw that broke the camels back was when my two year old found a large 12" kitchen knife in a low unlocked drawer. I understand these rooms may be extended stay and providing utensils can be a nice thing, but they should never be left where they were less than two feet off the ground for a child to be able to access. At that time i contacted my wife and told her we would be departing and i would just drive through the night to return to ohio. Upon checking out, i politely informed the front desk agent of the three situations and that we would be checking out only hours after checking in. He couldn't do anything but understood, so I asked him to pass on my booking info to management so they could follow up with me. I never received a call and when following up with Expedia who i booked through, they were also told by the hotel that nothing could be done for this situation.

We did hear from our taxi driver that when the local shelter is full they send people there. It is nice that they work with this program. They need to deep clean these rooms.
