Kora was an amazing artist. I'm super particular when it comes to French manicures. But I usually be like "it looks nice" to the nail tech because the only French manicures I liked were the way my mom did them. But after getting them done by Kora, I was impressed. Not gonna lie, this was the most I spent on a gel manicure. But it was well worth it! FYI- no walk ins. You have to book an appointment and prepay for the service on their website. Also please google Russian manicure before you book if this is your first time. It's not like the regular gel manicures.

I've been coming here since September 2024, and I've had 6 visits so far! Would highly recommend…read morethis nail salon, especially my nail tech Aisha. When I started, I had never had a gel manicure before, much less a Russian manicure. The attention to detail is crazy, and the prep is basically painless. My cuticles and gel placement look amazing every time. Aside from the first visit when I started with bare natural nails which aren't as grippy, I've never had any chipping or lifting (and the first time, I only started getting some lifting after 3 weeks!). I go 3-4+ weeks between appointments, cook/do dishes/use a lot of hand sanitizer at work. My nails feel so healthy and strong. I usually stick to solid colors, but this last visit I wanted something special for Chinese New Year. I showed Aisha a set off pinterest and she replicated it perfectly! Really competitive prices. Beautiful salon drenched in natural light. Love how easy it is to book appointments online. Definitely give this place a try.

First time getting a Russian manicure and I must say I'm in love. My nail tech Megan was so nice…read moreand took her time. It was worth every minute. I've been looking to give the acrylic a break and grow my natural nails and think I found just what I needed. Didi was there and she was nice to talk to as well. The space is nice and clean and I felt very welcome. Will definitely be back can't wait to see my nail progress on the next visit

I am so tired of establishments charging an arm and a leg for less than stellar service. The…read morepretentious policy and shoddy work don't align with the cost. I booked a service in February. I was going back and forth about a design, in which the person working there was of no help including the Tech that was a "Pro". After some time, I decided to do a French with 2 small hearts on 2 nails. Apparently, that's considered "Complex nail art". The tech who had a mask and heavy accent told me the price in which I clearly didn't understand until I went to pay. YES, I was upset that my nails cost me $150 (no extension etc) when I went to check out! Despite me being surprised, I STILL TIPPED HER (something I regret had I known they would deny me service moving forward). What's more upsetting is that I had to CONTINUOUSLY CORRECT THE TECH (a "pro") while she was doing my nails. Why am I paying so much money and she can't make sure the white on my tips are actually covering the nails properly? Why did she leave actual gel on the sides of my cuticles? Lastly, why did I pay $150 and had BUBBLES IN MY NAIL BED? I showed the girl at the desk, and she HAPPILY TOOK MY MONEY DESPITE SEEING THE BUBBLES. Let me guess, that's all my fault too, right? You think they cared about the actual work done on my nails? HA! Yet, I'm supposed to happily fork over my money for mediocre work and accept it? You guys did me a favor by denying me service. Oh, it's very telling when your nail techs don't stay long in either of your locations! SMH!

I wished I called the police. DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this salon after starting a summer school…read morejob in LIC and couldn't make it back to my usual salon before their closing time. First experience shouldve been enough of a red flag. Chris, the main nail tech, gave me a powder manicure and put acrylic on top without my permission. He claims the nails will chip but my local salon gives me amazing powder gel manis that last a couple of weeks and they don't look thick/fake/and do not chip. Clearly, CHRIS DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS. I made my peace with how he did them the first time and told myself I'll be more assertive and watch him/stop him when I go back in a couple of weeks, whatever. So on my second visit, I asked for no acrylic top coat and please just give me a normal powder gel mani. He refused, exploded, and kicked me out of his salon. Moreover, he cut off my natural long nails without permission. I repeat, HE CUT OFF MY LONG NATURAL NAILS WITHOUT PERMISSION. Chris is very limited skill-wise (as stated above, he doesnt know how to give a regular powder gel mani that will last 2 weeks, I've had many nail artist do this but he claims that its impossible for the nails to not chip after a couple of days. Simplistically put, this is not true) , and social, he's audacious and unaccommodating. And really scared me. I was the only customer in the shop at this time (it was 7 PM) and I felt really sorry for his staff that didn't seemed phased by his explosive reaction to my request for how I want my nails done. They seemed used to it and were actually very nice to me to get me out of there safely. As soon as he exploded, they put a drying oil on my toes, helped me put on my shoes, and helped me get paid and out of the store. But Chris, he was belligerent. Slamming cabinets, pacing around the back room, yelling that he won't do nails if they're going to chip. (I even said I do not mind coming in every week as long as they look natural and not thick with acrylic. I insisted that I love getting my nails done and do not mind paying a lot of money but want them to look the wat I want them to look) But no, this wasn't ok for Chris. In addition, There should be no reason to yell at a customer (And I wasn't screaming at him when I should've been. Again, he cut off my long natural nails without permission) (Iykyk) I have never made a review before but I was so violated that I am compelled to warn all other potential customers I will learn how to put pictures with my review. All in all, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Also.... the first time I tipped $26 for a mani/pedi but for my second time, when I got kicked out... i paid for my pedi and gave the other nail artist who did my pedi a $10 tip I am a firm believer in tipping well for time and quality service. No matter what. But in this case, I feel very strongly about regretting not calling the police. Imagine going to a salon and getting your hair chopped off when all you wanted was a little trim and color. Unbelievable. At this point, I'm waiting for my usual salon to fix my nails this weekend and I will be paying for nail tips. Because I'll be a waiting a long time for my nails to grow out and now need to pay more for tips.... I feel like he shouldn't of charged me or a police report or some sort of consequence shouldve been made. This man should have his license revoked! idk. Its very upsetting.
