My first time coming was wonderful but this second time I was less than satisfied. My powder manicure chipped after one week and my gel pedicure looks like two different colors after three days. It's like she put extra coats on some nails, but not others. Not to mention I paid an extra $10 for the extra layer because it came out too light (much lighter than the picture so why I had to pay more in the first place was beyond me). Over all my experience was good. I've been going to a salon in queens blvd for about 10 yrs, but since I moved it's so hard to make it there. Metro beauty lounge is 5 minutes from my house and my wait was less then 10 minutes. I'm a mom of 2 so I don't have time to waste waiting for hours. I got SNS for the first time I usually get powder extensions with gel. I was nervous going to a different place. But my 7 year old sat next to me and it wasn't an issue. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is just because my nail tech did not open a new sanitized set of tools when I sat. I wasn't sure what happened there but it seems the salon is pretty new and is still gathering the tools for each station. Nice place that on the first visit, they were able to fit me in for a gel mai icier really quickly. Next time I walked in. They were unable to take me, so I made an appointment for a different date. I got to my appointment on time and proceeded with my gel mani. I did have a few broken nails and they were able to fix them. My only complaint is that although I had an appointment, a lady with her kids came in after and my technician proceeded to rush my mani and some nails were misshapen and came off within a week. I walked in for a pedi and waited about 5 minutes before my service (all three staff members were already busy with other customers, but my wait was quite short for a walkin!). The lady who worked on my pedi ($20) was incredibly gentle and thorough. I had a very enjoyable experience here and would love to come back any time I am in town. Finally got my nails done since quarantine and I love this place. The store practices social distancing and sanitizes all tools for each customer. My hands came out perfect thanks to Jessica. The time I went the manicurist cut my nail cuticle and it hurt. She also kept poking me with her pointing finger nail while giving me a pedi. I asked for a pedi with just the nails done -no water, calluses, lotion etc, so it was really quick, and they still charged me full price. I've gone there other times and been happy but this latest time made me want to find a new nail spot. read more

For clarity, I am commenting on the salon that is on the block with Royal Comics and Collectibles. I needed/wanted a manicure because I have been doing a lot cleaning in my house. I walked in (there was only 1 other customer there at 2PM on a Sunday) and told the woman I wanted to keep all my nails at a similar length and showed her the length. She proceeded to cut all my nails to a very short length. I said I wanted an oval shape and made them square. She used cold water for the soak, and the filing left my nails rough. At that point I told her to forget the color polish and just put a clear coat on. It was $15.00 and a waste as far as I am concerned. At least I know now where not to go. read more

This is by far the best nail salon in Flushing. I have been going here every two weeks for over a year and I've only had two nail issues which Andy fixed for free when I came back. This salon is clean, cozy, and has a lovely atmosphere. If you want the best massage of your life at an incredible price, you must ask for Esther. That lady has magic hands or something...I treat myself to a massage once a month and I always feel amazing after. If you're into dip polish like me, only ask for Andy. He's incredible and will have your nails not only looking but feeling incredibly strong and healthy. Plus, they last 2 weeks before you need to change them without any chipping. I saw another reviewer mention that the phone goes off a bit at this salon, this is true. It's a small, family run business (they just had a baby ) so sometimes one of the technicians will pause to schedule an appointment but it usually doesn't take too long if you're willing to be patient sometimes. If you're looking for a good gel manicure, Jessica is excellent and will make you feel right at home. After my 3rd visit, everyone at the salon knew me by name and it feels like I'm coming in to see friends when I get pampered which is a major plus since I just moved to New York from Ohio. I have attached 7 of my fav nail looks that Andy has done for me throughout the year. I'm so grateful to have found this place and know that people will definitely be asking "where did you get your nails done!?" if you come here. read more

42 for one color gel and he did my toes in less than 25 minutes . Doesn't feel completely clean or neat. And he put a cold towel on my legs, I also got my nails done and for 55 dollars for a fill is unacceptable. I don't care too much about price when it's done correctly but he didn't even file any of my nails just added light powder by my cuticle and painted! Wtf never again read more

My girl Jessy gave me the best lash extensions ever! She is very detailed and meticulous and all the products are for super reactive and hypertensive skin and was perfect for me. She took her time and gave me updates on what she was doing every step of the way. The facial room where I was at is super clean and relaxing music in the background made this so very ZEN. Later that afternoon I went to dinner and the waitress said my lashes looked amazing and I told her the deal and she said she already goes here for her hair and will definitely check it out. Also, Esther is amazingly superb re: pedicures and relaxing back massages...definitely call for Esther!!! I always come here to get my mani pedi when I have time. The nail techs are very courteous and are very detailed when working on my hands and feet. They really take their time to work and aren't rushed. I usually get a regular pedicure and a French manicure which ends up lasting for over a week and sometimes two weeks. The price I pay is definitely worth it as they do such an amazing job! The place is clean, comfortable, and very welcoming making for a very relaxing experience! read more

This is my first time at this place. The gentleman who completed my spa pedicure was very distracted the entire time. My service was continuously interrupted because he was answering the phone every time it rang. It rang approximately 9 times. After answering the phone, he would come back and forget what service he was doing. For example, he continued to use the regular lotion instead of the lotion for a spa pedicure. During the massage, he did not apply any pressure despite my request to apply more. I will be in Forest Hills a lot the next few months because to help my parents with their move. I was hoping to find a place nearby where can I go for my weekly spa pedicures. This is not the place for me and this will not be the place for you unless you enjoy your service continuously interrupted. It truly was the worst pedicure ever. read more

I came here to get my hair dyed. I wanted my hair to just match the color of my roots. I'm a dirty blonde and this is super dark....brown/dark brown.
