It was a very large lovely room with en suite bathroom, also quite large. The room was bright and full of light, decor was upscale vintage and the king bed was soooo comfortable. There was even a vintage mini fridge in the room for snacks or left overs. Both spaces were spotless, very well kept. We had breakfast outside on the deck both mornings that we were there and Chris, our host, made us a different offering each day, with fresh coffee, oj, freshly cut fruit, something eggy and something sweet, we loved it all. We also enjoyed the company of our four legged hosts, Cosmo a statuesque white standard poodle who made sure to always have a toy offering in his mouth upon greeting us and Gracie a slightly pudgy super friendly tabby cat who did what cats do best, lounge in the sun and soak up pets from guests that happen to pass by. We will definitely be back to Lodi for other wine getaway adventures and we hope our room at Bella Vino is available next time we make the trip.

We came up to purchase a couple of kayaks and wanted to be centrally located to the Lodi Lake and downtown. This home is perfectly situated for both. BIG BONUS--- Each room has a bathroom...not all B&B's do and it is a must for me :-). If you need a lot of counter space in the bathroom I would recommend the Downstairs Suite...We were just in town to kayak so I didn't have a lot of stuff but if I needed to use hair tools and good lighting for makeup, I would want to be in the Downstairs Suite. We stayed in the Master Suite and the Black and White Suite. Both rooms are nicely appointed and the beds are SOOOO comfortable. The entire home is clean and cozy, Breakfast was delicious both times and we enjoyed wonderful conversations with the other guests. Check in was very easy and the neighborhood was safe and quite. We had no worries about having our kayaks tied up to our truck overnight. We look forward to coming back!

We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

David and Karen, the owners, are so sweet and welcoming. The inn is dog friendly, as there is a fully functioning outdoor patio area you can eat meals at. There's also a fire pit that's gorgeous at night, and plenty of bird feeders. If you enjoy birdwatching, this is the place as there are a variety of different feathered visitors that come by this naturally beautiful retreat. Literally packed with the hosts' FAMILY HISTORY B). Onsite museum C). Literally a working Black Angus cattle ranch, with around 100 cattle on 1,000 acres. The menu included many choices: french toast, waffle, omelet, potatoes, veggies, eggs to order, bacon, toast, english muffin and fruit. The portions were extremely generous! The staff were all great including owner Michael who was very attentive to questions we had. We've also stayed at another of his properties (The Victoria Inn) which was also lovely. We definitely plan to be back and I can hardly wait! While we were in the area we ate at Jesus' Restaurant (Mexican across the street), Firewood (delicious pizza), and coffee at Aria. We got married here!…read more Shopping for venues can get discouraging with food and beverage minimums, extra charges and back-to-back weekend weddings where they kick you out the next day. This place is a cozy, green oasis in one of the cutest towns in America, and the value is incredible. They let us have the run of the place for the whole weekend while we hosted and set up. The staff made it feel like home -- such kind and lovely people. Breakfast for our wedding party was included. Anything we asked for, they made it happen, and we were able to control every aspect of the event: bar, catering, etc. Another perk I didn't anticipate was a 360 view of the venue from the bridal suite, which allowed me to keep an eye on everything while I was getting ready. The suite is basically an apartment, with a full kitchen we were able to cater our rehearsal dinner out of. Most of our guests were able to stay the weekend and walk to the venue from their hotels (they make it easy with their sister hotel the Victoria Inn and associated rentals). Our wedding was a dream that we're sad to wake up from. If this place calls to you, do not hesitate to book.
