Don't go here. The staff may be super friendly, but when it comes to having to deal with billing this place is the worst. They don't know how insurance works, they over charged me, I had to do all the work to fix it, and I'm still waiting for my money back. It's a shady business don't go here if you know you have to pay out of pockets as they will make you pay a made up price. They will also make you out ti be the one to blame, they blamed me for not giving them insurance info, when on day one they took copies an photos of all my insurance cards, so trust me when I say go somewhere else. read more

Avoid Christenson Vision Care if you're looking for glasses. I just watched a woman take my mom's prescription sunglasses (purchased at CVC) and snap them during a routine adjustment, and then made her pay for a new pair to order. To top it off, I watched them use office tape to "repair" the broken frame. What's the point in paying a premium to service at CVC if the customer has to cover a company's mistake themselves? Save your money and your time, and shop elsewhere/online folks. read more

Made an appointment online and was told when I came in that I didn't have an appointment because they hadn't confirmed the online reservation but they could fit me in. Awesome! The exam was great! Kind, thorough and efficient! I felt like everything was explained well and they really did a good job crafting my prescription. I went to look at frames and told the associate that I wanted to stay within my insurance...my insurance pays for $140 frames and the lenses up to a certain amount. I picked $150 frames happy to pay a little extra. She adds everything up and asks if I want the blue light film, I say let's see how much it would cost...over $700 without insurance and $360 with it! I thought she was joking. I asked her to take the blue light add on off. Still over $150. After insurance. I looked at her like she was crazy and she said they only have premium product. Well the frames were pretty they were not name brand or designer. The lenses should have been standard without any add ons. I am surprised how they are still in business with these outrageous prices. Go there for a good thorough exam but not glasses. read more

I was recommended by two people to see Dr. Christenson and I was very pleased how everyone was so nice!! The front desk staff was super sweet and asked my daughter if she wanted to feed their pet fish, Finley- she loved that!! Dr.Christenson was very patient, my daughter has a hard time sitting still for a long period of time, he had her take a break and get all the wiggles out!! We are always impressed with the Christenson Vision Care team. Dr. Christenson is phenomenal and so personable, we have really appreciated his expertise in our sons care. The whole team is extraordinary in their customer service. This last visit was was for contact lenses and the teaching and patience to show him how to use them was so appreciated. He is now proficient in quickly putting in and removing his contacts and is thrilled with them. We travel well over an hour to the office and it is so worth the drive. read more

This business and it's employees have zero integrity and have a complete lack of professionalism. My wife and I have free eye exams as part of our insurance within our network. When my wife visited Christenson Vision Care she presented our insurance and they told her that they were in network and that the exam would be covered. They lied, they are not in our network and a free exam turned into a $150 exam. After multiple conversations they refuse to do anything about it. Their viewpoint is that my wife should not trust them and should know who is in our network ourselves. I'd like to think that you can trust the professionals. Please do not give these kind of people your business. There are way too many honest businesses out there to reward people who prey on their customers with dishonest business practices. read more

Our entire family goes to CVC, and it has always been easy to schedule (love online scheduling that is available other than during COVID). They've been understanding of needing to reschedule some appointments within 24 hours when kids or my husband have become sick. I have worn reading glasses of some sort or another since childhood and I can't say enough about the great staff and care givin at Christianson Vision. Dr. Sara Kiminski is fantastic! Actually all the staff are very thorough, kind and helpful. The service is relaxed and customer focused without the hard sell that I've experienced at the national brand eyecare stores. And the exam process at Christianson seems much more in depth. I am so pleased that I discovered such a great group of eyecare professionals right here in beautiful Hudson! Super convienant location next to the YMCA, my Vet and my Insurance Agent! Can't beat that!! read more

Terrible with children. We tried to take our kids to Dr. Christenson for an eye exam. He had little patience willing working with our kids... He visibly became frustrated and made the visit uncomfortable for all. Take my advise and take your kids to an eye doctor who has some patience and understanding. read more

If I could put 0 starts, I would. Completely unprofessional. Found out someone else was charging their visit to my account, and even though they can see by the signed paperwork that it wasn't me who came in, refused to correct it. I would report it, but they also refuse to give me the signed paper that the other person signed because of some law that protects the fraudulent person. Not an ethical company. read more

Let me start by saying that Dr. Flynn was very good to work worth. But it stops there. My eye exam was scheduled for 3 pm, and it took more than 2 hours. And I picked out my frames between the initial tests and seeing Dr. Flynn. Then there was the wrong frame, the broken bow on the correct frames. When I went back for a replacement of the nose pads to make the glasses more comfortable, they scratched my lens and had the audacity to ask me if I knew I had a scratch on my lens. The scratch was an inch long and in the line of vision. If I had a scratch that large, I would have seen it. On top of that, the edge of the other lens was chipped. After 2 months of dealing with poorly fitting frames, I ordered a different pair of glasses, which I picked up on Friday. Since I was wearing contact lenses, I could tell if the vision was correct, but the frame fit well. When I took my contacts out that evening and put the glasses on, I knew immediately that the lenses were wrong. I ordered very expensive progressive lenses, and these were single vision. I called today and told them that I wanted a refund and a copy of my prescription. I was questioned whether I was sure the lenses were single vision. With as poor as my eyesight it and the significant difference between the near and distance correction, I could tell. On top of it, my brother-in-law who is an optician was visiting this weekend and verified the single vision lens. I am now waiting for a call back as to a refund on these worthless glasses. In this case, you don't get what you pay for. Never again. I will stick with a chain instead of supporting a local business. read more

The eye exam was fine. I decided to purchase glasses from them. Unfortunately, the product isn't up to the quality standards you would expect from a specialty vision shop. My lenses have begun to crack and was told that there wasn't anything they could do about it. I guess I expected that $400 lenses would last longer than 3 years. Oh well... those promotional ads from their competitors look better and better. Pretty disappointed. read more

I Love Love Love my glasses. They are a great quality and very stylish. I ended up not liking the finish on my prescription sunglasses so the redid them for free. They only carry designer frames though and they are very spendy. It would be nice if they had some more affordable frames. read more
