When I noticed the damage the employee said oh I thought it was a smudge. It's way more than a smudge, it's horrible damage to my frames. I thought it was weird that they made me sign a waiver so now I'm out over $750 without even a sorry. No type of apology whatsoever. I paid a copay also for the lenses in these frames but since I'm unable to wear them, the lenses are worthless. I have to start over but now I've used my benefits for the year. I wish I wouldn't have went here in the first place. I had a bad feeling when I first sat down they seemed unorganized. I should have walked out but I wanted to support a small local business my mistake.

My son referred me after I complained about my inability to get a contact prescription that would let me put aside the readers I've been using. I didn't feel like this was a big challenge, but three previous years of appointments left me feeling as if I was stuck and that doctors weren't listening to me. First, an observation about the two ladies who help with fittings, eyewear selection, phone answering and checkouts. Exceptionally friendly and helpful. My first impression of the center was on the phone and I knew right away the customer service was excellent. Once I arrived, I filled out my paperwork and asked if I could fill out my husband's paperwork who was coming in later that day. The ladies were quick to accommodate my request, and were prepared when he showed up in the evening. Dr. Markeson is so friendly and helpful He really listened to my vision goals and after a thorough exam, he fitted me with a contact prescription that allowed me to see better without cheaters. Even my distance was improved. I remarked that I couldn't believe that I finally had success at Target after years of success. He explained that's he's pretty efficient given the number of patients he sees. I agree. My husband enjoyed him as well, and I was SO happy the ladies at the front desk helped him select new frames since he's made some regrettable choices over the years and I was not able to oversee his selection. Highly recommend-and happy to report this is a wonderful experience for a task that isn't usually much fun.

They had a notice on the door one of their Doctors had moved on. They also have very short business hours ( 3-4 days a week). During my time in the waiting room while my daughter had her exam, 1 person came to pick up their glasses and the order had never been pushed through so they were never ordered. Another person came in because they hated their new glasses and wanted to go back to what they had before. They eyeglass guy had no concern with that, other than to say OK and worked on the insurance to change the lenses back no singular vision. The man in charge of frames was not interested in helping or offering suggestions on what would look good for her face. His only comment was women's are over there and men's frame start at the end of that tall shelf. My daughter is 17 years old, so went into the exam room by herself, not wanting or needing me in there. Afterward, the Doctor only said "not much change in her prescription, then walked away. The staff did not give us a print out of my daughters prescription so I had to go back and ask for that since there were not any frames in this location my daughter liked. I have never had an eye exam where they don't provide you a copy of your prescription. It really felt like this was a place getting ready to close up shop or go out of business and was just counting the minutes until it's over. My family of six will not be returning.

I was aware that I could not use them together. Not a problem to me! When checking out, I ended up spending around $175, instead of the $75 for a complete pair of glasses that the Yelp deal advertises. I told him that I would even just forfeit the Living Social deal. Not the case at all. He seemed pushy in selling me a second pair of glasses & in the upsell of the polarized lenses. I just wasn't totally satisfied in the service that was provided to me in my visit & how I was told that the Living Social Deal was a better deal than the Yelp deal. How is $175 cheaper than $75? I emailed E.o.M & the response was cold. When I picked up my sunglasses, the Manager was even cold. I was told that the $75 coupon from Yelp is bogus and that they don't honor it. Horrible customer service in my opinion & I have worked in the service industry for over 15 years. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! If I could give this a 0 out of 5 stars, trust me, I would have.

A general, routine eye exam should not take up two hours of a patient's time…read more A patient also ought not be kept waiting alone in an exam room for 30 or more minutes after having the pupil dilation drops placed in their eyes, wondering when (or if) the doc is going to return to the exam room to finish the eye examination. During my appointment, after at least a 30 minute wait, I left the exam room to speak to someone at the front desk about the excessive wait time (who stated that the doc was with another patient), and then returned to the exam room. Magically, the doc re-appeared to the exam room almost instantly. No apology. This was my experience when I went for a routine exam last month. During this experience, I was reminded how much waiting time I encountered during my previous routine eye exam here a few years prior. It causes me to wonder why, when the office does not appear to be in the least bit "busy", a patient who has health care coverage via medical assistance, is subjected to excessive wait time. Certainly other patients would have expressed complaints about excessive wait times if they had encountered them.

I've never felt rushed -- which is very difficult to find in a healthcare setting these days. I'm extremely nearsighted and from the beginning he educated me about risks associated with this condition; especially retinal tear which is an eyesight emergency. Sure enough, I had one and got in with a retinal specialist the same day. (I can also highly recommend Retina Center [Dr. Vaughn Emerson] -- the referral Dr. Snyder gave me). Dr. Snyder also carries high quality, brand name, designer frames that his friendly staff do a great job helping me choose. (I have 'made in USA', State brand). They measure and help me find ones that are both stylish and fit my face. Figuring I use my glasses every day, it's worth getting really well-fitting and comfortable glasses! If you're looking for a great eye care provider, I highly recommend Dr. Snyder.

We loved the pediatrician so much we decided to bare with it and not complain. Eventually, after waiting over three or four years, the rude staff got replaced with real professional patient relation specialists and we were relieved! Then a few of years ago we had a problem with one of the nurses who broke a needle into my son's thigh for being too aggressive while giving him a flu shot. That made us go through an unnecessary procedure where we all had to get AIDS Testing (evidently the needle poked the nurse, too) and my son had to get another injection! I should have filed a complaint, but out of respect for our pediatrician... we kept our mouth shut. I should have taken that whole incident as a sign, because a few years later a man at the lab had to stick my son with numerous needles to draw his blood. My son was traumatized and crying out in anguish! I luckily had some over-the-counter lidocaine spray I used on him to relieve the unsuccessful numerous attempts! We weren't gonna let that man touch our son again. Which is exactly what we told the same male lab tech yesterday when we had to get my son's 11 year Well Child Visit labs taken. Some middle aged blonde chick comes over to prep my son and find a good vein and I proceeded to get my lidocaine spray ready for post-procedure and the woman declares she "won't allow" me to spray the numbing spray over the injection area. I immediately stated that I'm going to do it anyway and so she refused to proceed with any lab work. I bust out cussing them out for being sadistic psycho freaks as I left the building. Needless to say, we no longer need the services from any providers at this location! There apparently is a pattern of staff that appear to enjoy hurting children there. I highly do not recommend this clinic. Your children deserve better!
