So happy to have stumbled into The Well Read Moose on a recent trip to Coeur d'Alene! The Well Read…read moreMoose is small, but packed with a great selection. They carry a great selection of books, stationary, and even their own merchandise. I found the books to be priced pretty normally, following MSRP. I was greeted pleasantly when I walked in and checked on a few times while I was shopping, but never obnoxiously. It's located in a great little shopping center with plenty of restaurants and parking. I absolutely loved the few minutes. I had to kill here and can't wait for my next visit should I find myself in Coeur d'Alene again!

They have a big selection of kids books, romance, mystery, and general fiction. I didn't head over to the other side of the store with all the non-fiction biographies history and other types. The store is set up very nice neat and clean. We ended up getting a bunch of kids books and because we joined their trade in program each hardback was two dollars and every softback book was a dollar. Definitely gonna be coming to this bookstore a lot.

I typically would always buy new books but heard about a sale here and checked it out earlier this year...one dollar for four kids' books; we came home with eight total. Many of the books we purchased were similar to ones on her Amazon wish list for a minimum of five dollars apiece and we got them for $.25 each -- wow!! Today we brought three books to trade in (easy process) which resulted in a trade of three children's books, including one that is on Amazon for $10 (see pictured) and is in excellent condition. We left with two Pinkalicious books as well, which are popular and around $5-10 new each online too. I love supporting local and a great deal. Thanks, Alex and Megan! (Great customer service!)

I had been going to this store for almost four years - specifically for magic the gathering cards…read moreand "bricks" well i saw that the magic bricks went from 6.99 to 8.99 recently and bought one thinking if two dollars more.. maybe better than before. NO. It was about 100 cards with like 8 duplicates of seven different cards. I went back to return it as it seems like it was put together to just screw someone out of nine dollars. I spent a lot of money there on a weekly basis and was told no there are no returns for collectibles. Unbelievable that for a patron of their business that they would not honor store credit - as I did give the cards back. DO NOT BUY THE MAGIC BRICKS. Nice going for the manager of the store - I won't be giving them anymore of my business

If I am ever in CDA again (hopefully) I will surely visit EntertainMART. There is a grand selection…read moreof books, movies, comics, and more. My brother and I dug around for an hour or so and I came away with some good finds. Not everything is as cheap as I'd like but if you spend enough time you can find some deals. I miss the time when bigger entertainment stores like this were more common. The staff seemed kind and the clientele were cool too.

I was somewhat disappointed to find that the store only contains romance books. But I mean, what should I expect from a place called Its a Love Story. But I can get over that. I just love being surrounded by books and some looked very interesting. The thing is, the place was quieter than a library. There were about 6 people in the shop, but it was so quiet, I was afraid to talk to my wife. The Dirty Chai Latte I ordered was nothing special, so I'd only really come back to be surrounded by books. But since most of the books aren't my Genre, It's less likely that I would. So, I chalk this one up to an experience. It's not a bad one, it's just one that's not for me.

This is a great store with amazing customer service! I went in recently to look at different bible…read moretranslations. I was struggling with looking on-line and I need to be able to open them to really make a decision. When I came in I was instantly greeted and I went straight to the Bible section. They have a nice big table so you can pull multiple books out to lay them side by side. I had this really nice lady come over and see if I needed any help. I let her know I was looking for a different translation and the Bibles I had considered. She gave me a great rundown of each of them and pulled a couple of suggestions out to put on the table. We then turned them all to the same chapter and verse to be able to read them side by side to see which one I connected with most. I was working through word for word and thought for thought translations. It was so incredibly helpful and I was so appreciative of her patience and expertise. With her help, I was able to find the translation that I really connected with. I will absolutely go back again! Plus they have so many amazing things in this store from clothing, toys, and gifts, there's something for everyone. Highly encourage you to check it out.

There was a lot to look at and explore, including athames, crystals, quills, candles, and incense. Phoenix was so warm and welcoming as well as knowledgeable and engaging. He let me know about upcoming events and told me that many items are made by local artisans and craftspeople.

An old school video rental store that was a total blast from the past. They rent Blu-Rays, DVDs,…read moreand VHS tapes. I stopped by hoping to buy (not rent) a few DVDs/Blu-Rays and I ended up getting 3-4 movies at a great deal. In fact, I believe they were 50% off. The sale selection isn't bad but the rental selection is huge. This shop could easily have gone toe-to-toe Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. There was one young guy working the shop and he was very kind and helpful. We chatted for a little bit and he even gave us some recommendations for activities to do around town (we were visiting from CA). Great spot -- keep up the good work.
