This store is stuffed to the ceiling with secondhand books to buy. They have EVERYTHING you can…read morethink of when it comes to genre and the prices are decent. Just be prepared to really dig through the stacks because the store is larger than it appears since it extends way back from the sidewalk. They may be randomly closed due to the limited number of employees so check before you head there. The service is friendly and you come away from the experience feeling like you want to go back and dig some more for books.

I ordered a drip coffee, served in a fancy-schmancy mug, and a 'Brekky" sandwich with bacon on sourdough (good choice). The coffee was strong and hot, and the freshly-made sandwich was piled high and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, but not quiet. There are casual conversations and card games going on at the tables, and there are shelves of merchandise to browse. I hope to come back for lunch sometime!

Most book stores are considered a calm and relatively quiet place and, at least on this day, was not the case. On the bottom floor of the bookstore (with GREAT acoustics, mind you) sat two people who were having such a loud conversation that it echoed throughout the entire place. Not the worst thing I suppose but this convo happened to be full of f-bombs and just generally negative and nasty comments. Kinda put a damper on my experience-- maybe a few signs asking for low voices on the bookstore side?

They carry a great selection of books, stationary, and even their own merchandise. I found the books to be priced pretty normally, following MSRP. I was greeted pleasantly when I walked in and checked on a few times while I was shopping, but never obnoxiously. It's located in a great little shopping center with plenty of restaurants and parking. I absolutely loved the few minutes. I had to kill here and can't wait for my next visit should I find myself in Coeur d'Alene again!

NO. It was about 100 cards with like 8 duplicates of seven different cards. I went back to return it as it seems like it was put together to just screw someone out of nine dollars. I spent a lot of money there on a weekly basis and was told no there are no returns for collectibles. My brother and I dug around for an hour or so and I came away with some good finds. Not everything is as cheap as I'd like but if you spend enough time you can find some deals.
