The answer was always YES! They were efficient, reasonable, talented, polite, honest, hard working, respectful. The property was cleaned up daily. They finished way before I anticipated despite rain. I posted on YELP that I needed 2 jobs done in our home. The first job, was to replace the broken…read moretrim adjacent our bedroom door. Secondly, we needed the towel holder in the bathroom to be secured to the wall. I didn't feel that I could successfully complete either of these jobs. Carlos with Bossotros Any Services was the 1st handyman to respond. I explained the details of what I needed done, & he asked if he could come by & see the issues firsthand.I replied,"Yes.", & we set up a meeting. He & his coworker, Erick arrived, came in, & reviewed the work that I wanted done. Carlos took measurements, & passed on to Erick what materials needed to be purchased. Afterwards Carlos said that they did want the work, & that he would contact me with an estimate. Not long after that, he replied with his estimate. I said, "Yes I could afford it." I scheduled an appointment for the work, & on that day he & Erick arrived. The first thing that Carlos said to me was, "The price of the trim that he bought to replace my broken trim, had increased since he quoted me the estimate." He even pulled out the sales receipt from Home Depot, & asked me if I still wanted the jobs done? I looked in my check book register, & said, "Yes." He & Erick immediately began replacing our broken trim. Before I knew it, they had replaced our broken trim, & Carlos asked me how it looked? I checked out their work & replied,"That looks great."They gathered their tools, & headed for our bathroom. After a few minutes, Carlos advised me that they needed to go get a specific item from the hardware store. In a brief period they returned, & they very quickly secured our towel holder to the wall. He again asked me to review their work. I said that it looked awesome. I gave Carlos the money, & a thank you card. Without a doubt, I HIGHLY recommend Bossotros Any Services.

Do not pay until job is done and inspected by a professional or someone you trust. If site allows me I'll happily include picture's. They do not clean up after themselves and also put lights up and didn't wire them properly.

RUN AWAY!! I…read moreabsolutely hate having to write this review for another local business but in the end I didn't feel right not warning others. Asheville Painting came and Quoted our house painting for our main house, guest house, and both metal roofs two times. Once in 2019 when we initially purchased the home and once in Nov of 2021 less than 3 months ago. Two different men did the quoting. The first time we decided we wanted to wait because it's an expensive job. The second time we were scheduled for February. I asked if it was better to wait for warmer weather but was assured they had some "special paint" from Sherwin Williams that was fine for lower temps. Later I found out through a SW rep that is not recommended for ANY of their paints. Every other paint company we have had quote since could not believe Asheville Painting was going to paint in Feb. But I digress. We signed a contract for an exorbitant amount of money to have both homes and their roofs painted (note the contracts specifically mentioned the roofs and the type of roof paint) The first day Asheville Painting came to power wash. That night the owner called and said she had some bad news. Can't paint. Multiple fake excuses given including insurance company will not let them get to our third story (I know that's a big old lie because they painted a commercial retreat's metal roofs and they are WAY higher than my home) then she said the roofs had not been part of the contract at all. I quickly corrected Brenda and said the contract specifically makes note of the roofs. Then she said that it was Derek the guy who quoted and he's no longer with them because he's been giving bad quotes. Ummm...Derek is one of the owners and later I realized he's Brenda's husband who was the one I was talking to. I then reminded her he wasn't the first person to quote our home from Asheville Painting- another man quoted 2 years prior when we didn't paint and came in at around $5,000 LESS than Derek (and that was Derek's Dad) . So lies. When she heard how upset I was she threw in free pressure washing (perhaps hoping we would not write this review) but here's the thing. We were painting just to change the color of our home- but now we HAVE to paint. We are in the middle of refinancing our house (a process we didn't start until after signing the paint contract) and now because of the power washing our existing paint is peeling AND after signing the contract I made test samples on my shed and house because it was going to be painted! It's a disaster! It will not appraise at value unless it is painted now because the paint is chipped and there are swatches on the siding! I'm having to pay more to lock my loan for a longer period and to find a new paint company. I chose them because of their glowing reviews and after hearing more stories about them I'm realizing many people have had negative experiences with them that have not been published online. I emailed them asking if they wanted to give me the real reason they breached their contract but I received no response. If they had leveled with me and been honest I would have been more willing to offer them grace as another business owner. Personal crisis???! I just want to save anyone else the heartache and stress.
