I haven't been to Christies since 2007. Back then it was incredible. I went back this past Saturday night 2-23-12 as part of a birthday party and what a disappointment. We decided during dinner to go and we called to find out what the cover would be and were told over the phone that it was 10 dollars each. Upon our arrival we were informed that it was actually 12 dollars and not 10 dollars. Nothing like a little bait and switch to start your night off. We asked if at the very least that the birthday girl could get in free..... no chance... she has to pay too. So we all go in and as usual it is a beautiful well maintained establishment. But wow... the girls look like they got into a little too much of Walter White's Breaking Bad stash (crystal meth).... These women look like 75 pound skeletons with bolt on surgically enhanced breasts. If you like skin and bones then these are the girls for you. On top of all that these women were so tweaked on meth that they were all miserable. Seemed they didn't want to be there at all and they all had a sour puss on their face. The energy in all of their dances was severely lacking. The usual pestering for a lap dance was noticeably missing. Usually the girls are bugging you every minute or two for a dance but in the 3 and half hours we were there only two girls asked anyone in our group of 7 if they wanted a dance. Of course we declined due the gross skeleton factor. Although the fact they weren't bugging us turned out to be a positive thing. On a stranger note, the ladies we were with were getting into the music and were dancing.... suddenly they were told by the bouncers that they couldnt dance in the club because it is competition for the dancers. Not really.... the ladies in our group were much hotter than the dancers... LOL. Now let's get to the beverages.... All I can say is wow!!!! 8 beers and one diet coke... SIXTY NINE DOLLARS !!!!! WTF... That's $8.62 per drink, quite a profit margin. Not to mention I foolishly opened a tab and am really quite certain that I only 5 beers but hey they said I had 8 and I really didn't want to argue about it. It's my own fault for opening a tab. In closing I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy women who are so strung out on crystal meth that they look like skeletons and you like overpaying for grossly overpriced drinks. I was a dancer here, but I started off as door girl during the day. I'd get a first hand experience of Bill being the most racist manager I've seen. I've worked at 7 other clubs and this one is by far the worst. I have been traveling and hasn't been in for a few months and decided to work a couple of shifts since I was back in town. I've never had any problems with the Night Shift. So if you're a dancer or customer my advice is to go in the night time. Anyway, I could go on to list different instances where girls were not hired based on their color of skin and weight. I'll instead state my last straw. I was working day shift and this was a very slow day. Security was at the bar and I had been with a couple that came in for a while. I decided to get up and use the bathroom and as I was walking in a guy asked where I was headed to and I told him I needed to use the restroom. As I go into the restroom he proceeds to follow me and I tell him to get out. He tried to force himself into the stall with me but that's when another dancer came out and saw him. He decided to then leave the womens restroom. I used the bathroom and went straight to the manager. The manager immediately told me to point him out and as we were looking for him he approached us and said he was said he was sorry and he shouldn't have done that. He excused himself from the club and he walked himself out. The manager didn't tell him to not come back and security was still behind the bar. It wasn't until the manager started accusing me of leading the guy to the womens restroom that security came out. I want to say that I was very scared of what that guy was going to do to me in that bathroom. In no way did I entice the man to come after me like that. I'm really upset that the club manager would think I'd do something like that after I had JUST explained my hurt of the situation. I was lucky that a girl come out to see the guy in time but there was still no rush to come get me. My safety and the safety of other girls is not a priority here. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Please don't come here OR WORK HERE . You might not be able to tell by first impressions because the place looks nice inside & the girls are decent looking, but the managers that run this place are SEXIST, and RACIST, as well as most of the employees here. ( bartenders & front door workers ) First off they falsely accused my friend of "smoking drugs " in the bathroom , after one of the dancers that was working there walked out of the restroom who looked like a straight up tweaker, my friend doesn't even do drugs like that and is more heavy set so that didn't make sense. Then asked us to leave after he falsely accused us of " smoking drugs " , afterwards then stating that we needed to leave because we weren't men and can't be there without a man ? That's not a law in the city of Tempe , so therefore it's sexist and they are racist towards Hispanics & people of color . I've heard and seen it first hand up front from multiple employees, and customers would tell me the same thing.notice how no black women work here ? Weird huh Secondly, The managers are sexually harassing the dancers who work here I've seen them flirting and touching the girls who work here inappropriately, and have been told by multiple girls who work here that the managers ask the girls if they will trade sexual favors for things. On top of that I overheard the managers talking in the office that they need to stop hiring heavy set girls or " larger girls " because they think they are ugly. read more

Once again. If there was an option for zero stars... that would be my choice. Customer/dancer from this place eager to tell you the truth about Tempe Christie's Caberet! As a customer you'll be greeted with rude girls and slow service. The girls here will steal and scam any man dumb enough to fall for it! So beware! As a dancer it's endless! It's extremely racist you'll only see a certain type of girl here... if you're a black women you won't get hired. They are super judge mental so if you are "overweight" you most definitely won't get hired. Many girls have heard the main manager Bill making fun of a girl he thought was too "fat". Security in the day (Marc) extremely rude and put off, he constantly harasses the girls for tips even if there is no money coming in. Very disrespectful. As a female you will NOT be safe here. Security and management only care about money and not the girls who keep the club running. A man walked into the womens restroom and tried harassing a girl to the point of crying.. the manager blamed the girl!!! They didn't even ban the creep! They allow extras to happen in the back even though multiple girls have been caught by the police. They run this place only for your money and they DO NOT give a single care about you or anyone else safety or enjoyment. Needless to say we will never be back and i recommend to go to other strip clubs in the valley.... And to Christie's I hope you learn to treat humans better and run your business better. read more

Does look good from the outside and the inside.... But had the same problem twice.... The girls there are not great and will charge you for more lap dances than what you have .. This has happened twice ... to me at the sameplace ... Once with this girl called Brazil (Claims to be from LA and wants to be in Vegas ) another names Ginger a MILF little old.... I had two lapdances from them and I was done with her ... but then they started telling me that I had 5 lap dances and they would just not leave from there with the money of 5 lap dances ... I didnt really want to make a scene there but then ... I behaved like a gentleman and gave her the money .. which she had not earned ... May be she needs her boobs done .. feed her kids ... what ever the reason is ... this is not the place I would like to go again and give them a third chance ... two time the same incident .. This used to be my favorite club in AZ, definitely not anymore. The last couple months this place has gone down hill fast. The new guy running it I think his name is Steve is rude and could care less about the customers, the girls are old, overweight or they don't speak any english at all. Christies used to have the hottest girls in the valley but not now. The only person that was helpful was the female manager but I forgot her name. If she was smart she would go to a better club she's wasting her time in this dump. You'll be lucky to find one attractive girl among all the old overweight ones. Doesn't matter when we go in the club is dead maybe 10-12 customers tops. Don't waste your time and money. Check out any other club and you will be better off. Clearly the owner doesn't care about the club and it's reputation any more. Sad. I also forgot to mention how terrible the music was. They used to play all top 20 and classic rock alittle bit of everything but now is all hardcore rap full of vulgar language and inappropriate words. Wish I could give this place negative stars. Ladies seriously DO NOT work here. Ive worked at a couple clubs and this is by far the most unprofessional place I have ever been. The club is beautiful and some of the staff is extremely nice but the manager Steve is a serious creep. He is inappropriate says creepy things and wanted to take a picture of me when he hired me on his personal cell phone. Seriously this can't be legal. I hadn't even worked a shift and I was already asked to hang out with him, take a picture and he said some of the creepiest things to me. Seriously he's older then my father WTF. I tried Christie's and it was a great experience! I was expecting the typical trashy club and I was wrong! Christie had excellent service and friendly employees! The club was well kept and clean! The food was deceit and a two for one happy hour!The gals were beautiful and classy!The prices are reasonable for the the high quality you get! Not like the overpriced Vegas crap! I just left there..I went in on dayshift and was really happy I took my lunch break there.. I walked in the manager was welcoming and actually had a good vibe..the food was great..the dancers actually had me stay later than I wanted to because they actually treated me like a person than walking wallet. They didn't rush me or make me feel pressured..music was great the DJ was playing all the classics and even sprinkled in some newer music but I didn't mind it at all because the whole time it felt like a day party..I will be taking more lunch breaks there.. read more

Been here's many times and it's by far the best experience I've had every time. From the minute you walk up to the entrance, during your stay and all the way up until walking out the door everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Solid prices and great service.
