The photos are wonderful and they really captured the emotion of the day. Vanessa was professional, well prepared, and communicated with us before, during, and after the wedding. She has a great eye for locations and lighting. Her turn around time was awesome and she communicated via email regarding updates and when we could expect our photos. She has a great eye for detail, both in her photography and the products she provides - adorable wooden, carved flash drive that she also personalized with our initials. She also gave us a cute Christmas ornament with our initials (which totally fit our wedding's theme). In addition to her role as the photographer, she gave great tips throughout the planning and on the day of. When we met up for the first time to get to know each other, she asked great questions to help prepare and to get a feel for who we were. She also gave recommendations when we were discussing our favors, helping us decide on a type of CD to use (ones that look like vinyl albums). Also after the ceremony, when we were signing the marriage certificate/license, she gave advice regarding how to fill it all in - since we were all new to it. All in all, she was fun to work with, took amazing pictures, and I highly recommend her! *Also worth noting is she has great taste as far as second shooters go - they worked well together and combined for some awesome photo memories.

Her work was awesome. She took so many engagement photos and her settings were just beautiful. The wedding pictures all turned out just gorgeous. It is really hard to decide which ones to choose for the Mother's Book because they are all so good. In planning a wedding, I told my daughter it is very important to choose an excellent photographer because the pictures are going to be something you will treasure for a lifetime. What's even more petty is it took her A YEAR to deliver the photos, and upon doing so she went on to rant about everyone being ungrateful/unworthy. We hired her for my dad's surprise birthday and at first she seemed nice and quoted us a certain amount then the second time she talked to us she asked us for more. I wished we would've said no because those are our memories we will look back on & she ruined all the photos. She brought her "assistant" to our party that ended up being her sister (which she never told me prior) and they were eating our food mingling and laughing and taking videos which my own family members were confused. She came into our home, took our time to take photos away from our guests. AND THEY WERE ALL BLURRY! When I would ask her how they look while taking them she would put a thumbs up and say they turned out amazing. No indication of how bad they were at all. At least she could've said her camera wasn't working or something. We all had iphones and other cameras we could've used. But no she was money hungry and didn't care instead just acted like she was taking photos. I had asked her to stay a little later and she said she would but at the end of the night decided to charge me DOUBLE without informing me prior. I paid because in my head I thought these are memories that would last a lifetime. After she told me to meet her to get the photos at a Starbuck's and gave me a sob story about how life's to short and that the photos were not ready but how she had some pictures her sister took (ill insert them such a joke) my 8 year old niece could've done a better job. She kept saying how the photos are ready but they weren't and when she uploaded them they were HORRENDOUS! I couldn't believe it. Not only were they horrible she DIDNT UPLOAD MORE THAN HALF OF THE PHOTOS WE TOOK! I called her so upset then again she tried to gaslight me and talk about how I should be grateful I am healthy and I was able to throw a party as well as my family which was none of her business! This person is a STRANGER I HIRED and obviously not a good person at all. Then when I let her know how upset I was and why she didn't tell me her camera wasn't working she deleted all of the photos so I didn't have access then started ignoring my calls. She offered a book & I told her I didn't want a book I wanted our photos then tried to say that our photos weren't blurry when they clearly were. I had to call her from different numbers to get a hold and ask for our photos and she finally answered through someone whom knew who she was & told me she would upload them and never uploaded all of the photos and I constantly had to try to keep contacting her. She got her money and didn't want to give me MY PHOTOS I PAID HER FOR! This is obviously a heartless person. She would say things like "oh my daughter is in town I can't" "I'll do it later" then when she FINALLY uploaded them they all had her logo she didn't remove then I asked for our photos she said that she only uploaded the photos that SHE liked. She cut off all of the balloon arch, the cake, zoomed in too much, and darkened and blurred every photo. Not to mention she shared all of our personal photos we paid her for with our distant family members for FREE (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION) Make it make sense. Please do yourself a favor & don't hire such a rude, gaslighting person for your special memories or for anything. I tried to contact her for a refund but she blocked me instead, that should show you her true character as a person. Unfortunately, I will be pursuing legal action for this matter.
