They answered all my questions and was so patient with me. The oral surgery went better than I expected. I wasn't sedated since I didn't have anyone that could drive me home afterwards. I decided on nitrous oxide to reduce the anxiety and fear. Dr. Melendrez gave me the novocaine and stayed in the room and chatted until it was time to get started. It was a very nice conversation and it put me at ease. He worked quick. The extraction and the bone graft took less than 15 minutes. There was barely any swelling or pain. I highly recommend Dr. Melendrez and his staff especially if you are anxious going to the dentist.

I had my procedure done on a Friday and didn't receive my antibiotic until the following week after calling the office and requesting for a script. My mouth ended up getting infected leaving me with having to take 2 rounds of antibiotics, painkillers and muscle relaxers prescribed by my own VA dentist. I DO NOT recommend this clinic for ANY procedure. I filed a VA complaint, I have no idea what became of it, but I warn other veterans not to go here.

My son is recovering quite nicely and everything went smooth that's the way medical and dental care should be done to care for the patient not a money grab to buy that 2nd or 3rd home or investment property.
