Had time to kill while my phone was being fixed so came here for lunch. First time. Last time. $21 for the Chris burger and I get about 12 fries and a tiny little "burger"(slider!) patty was about 3oz. Very disappointing. 1 skinny piece of lettuce and 2 tiny onion rings that were the size of a loonie. But the waitress was really nice and she was prompt. Place looked very clean as well (I didn't use the bathroom). Burger did taste good tho. Just tiny especially for $21! read more

I've been coming to Christopher's for years now, before they moved to the new location. I absolutely love this pub, the prices are extremely reasonable and the food is honestly amazing, I haven't eaten anything here yet that I didn't like, and I've had most of the items on their menu. The staff are all fun and personable, as well, the owners are often around to interact with as well, and they are incredible people and work tirelessly to make sure that everything is clean and in working order. They always have events going on for the holidays and different things through the year--whether that be hockey games (there's a bunch of tvs throughout the bar), st Patrick's day, Valentine's day or a fundraiser with prizes. I can't say enough about this pub they also have pool tables, dart boards, a music box type thing and I almost forgot that they also have slot machines. So, you can drink and gamble and with such a friendly atmosphere, it's easy to spend a long time here. Anyways. If you're contemplating going, at least drop in for one of their specials for lunch, which always look freaking delicious. I passed this place a few times before I finally went in for a quick bite to eat at lunch one day. I was the only customer there when I walked in (and left soon after). I sat at the bar and ordered a drink and asked if they were serving food yet. The bartender said they didn't have a kitchen, so I just stuck with the drink. They didn't allow me a tab, so I left after I paid for my one drink. The place itself is sorta gloomy and definitely outdated. There are black curtains over the front windows, and you're met with a bunch of VLT's as soon as you walk in. There are pool tables, dart boards, arcade games, a dance floor and plenty of seating, but I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I sat at the bar downing my drink and staring at the bartender's tuna sandwich that was chilling in the beer fridge, and then quickly got out of there without tipping. Won't be back again! read more

Christopher's party pub isn't exactly a dive but it could be placed under that category. It is your typical neighborhood pub. It's got slot machines, a tiny dance floor and a bar. I wouldn't even stop in for a drink but one day I came here for a soccer fundraiser and it was actually a good time. It wasn't a private party but it was filled with people I knew and so it seemed like a private party at a pub. It was a good night and the service was good. All that being said I wouldn't come here on any other occasion. read more

The only problem with this place is the attitude of the bartenders. I was treated like crap till it came time to pay. Dear owner. Train your staff to be nice, smile and make it an experience if you ever want new visitors to come back. Or hire some nice girls instead? Been there three time and got rudeness from three different girls that think they are all that. Me and they boys will spend our beer money elsewhere. read more

Great place to go to relax and have a drink with friends. The food is amazing and I plan on having everything on the menu. The pictures on the walls are definitely something to take in as well. Very nicely designed and the staff are extremely friendly. read more

Came for lunch. Ordered the special which sign said "ready in minutes". 55 minutes later, still waiting!

I've been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad experience. The DJ on the weekends is great and will play any song you wanna hear. There are pool tables and dart boards if that's what you are into and VLT's if that's what you wanna do. I would definitely recommend this bar for a good "Cheers" place to go. read more

Can you imagine going out for a few beer looking to converse with the awesome bartenders there. My experience there thus far had been great. Now after the last time I was there somehow I got barred. NO explanation necessary! Well I left with Reggie a regular only to have a couple beers and call it a night. I was woken up the next evening still drugged out. What do you do if you are not a cop caller? Wake up with a condom sitting around and you are straight... Really what do you do? You go to the bar on a Saturday night only to find out you are barred with no reason. I attended this establishment last week as I was the 'designated driver' for my friend. After I bought an alcoholic drink for my friend, I asked the waitress if they offered 'designated drivers' free pop. I was informed "No". I have been to many pubs in Edmonton and have always been offered a free soda/coffee because I was the designated driver. I will never return to the establishment again. read more
