Good doctor but keeps you waiting a long time. I waited 3 hours once. I won't ever go back. My time is valuable too.

Sudden unprofessional behavior and poor communication from provider Christian Luafau…read more I've seen provider Christian Luafau at Precision Rheumatology twice before without any problems, which is why my most recent visit shocked me. This time, the interaction was extremely unprofessional. I was never informed that my lab orders were sent electronically. Previously, I was given paper forms and told I could take them to any Quest. No one called, emailed, or communicated that the process had changed. When I tried to explain this, Christian Luafau repeatedly cut me off and labeled me "hostile," even though I was just trying to understand what happened. Instead of helping resolve the miscommunication, he abruptly switched me to another provider with a much longer wait time and said, "Now you'll have to wait longer." I left the appointment with no refill plan, no guidance, and the feeling that I was being punished rather than supported as a patient. Patients with chronic conditions deserve respect, patience, and clear communication. The way this situation was handled caused unnecessary stress and left me without timely care. I hope the clinic reviews how this encounter was handled to prevent this from happening to others.

Looking to see if I my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is all that's going on. He's also checking to see if there is anything else I may have. I've seen a lot of rheumatologists and he is the very first one who has listened to me and taken action!!

My appointment was with Dr. Wu but I was redirected to Dr. Ho instead. No problem…read more.. I don't really understand the previous negative reviews as my experience was MUCH different! The staff was very busy as to be expected in this type of office but they got to me in a timely manner and were very pleasant. I expected a wait when I arrived just because of the type of doctors office this was, these patients sometimes need more time than scheduled appointment because they are very ill. I took this into consideration while waiting about 15 minuets to be seen. Dr. Ho had a nice presence about him and he made me feel very comfortable. He was very attentive and asked me lots of questions... I mean lots! He spent ALOT of time with me trying to figure out what was going on and really focused on finding the best starting point for all my issues. He explained EVERYTHING to me and answered all my questions. I hope that my future visits go as well as my first visit.

Saw Dr. Wu, and a PA over Telehealth. Neither of them really seemed to know what they were doing…read more The PA called me to discuss test results and said that no diagnosis could be made based on the blood test, and that I needed to come into the office for Imaging. I told her a couple of times that my insurance isn't great and they would likely want me to get my imaging done at a third party location as they have done in the past. She insisted that my imaging could be done in office and made an appointment a month later. La Palma is an hour+ drive both ways from my city, and the appointment was in the early afternoon so I left work early to make it. There were no notes for Dr. Wu, no paperwork was ever started on my imaging meaning I drove 2 hours and left work early to make an appointment I waited a month to for nothing. The front desk lied to me about the office having my medical history gathered from my PCP as well.
