There are steel beams in the ceiling to the floor. The flooring is a warm laminate wood. They have booths, tables and a nice bar area. The dining room also has windows with natural lighting and also lights that come down to each table. We are greeted by our waiter and sat, he was friendly and attentive. The only thing that was odd, he didn't check to see if our main courses came ok. But overall, we really liked this restaurant. They have a very eclectic menu. We shared the Bavarian pretzel, the mustard and the beer cheese were excellent. I had the Tuscanwich with breaded eggplant. It also comes with broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and house made mozzarella on Joe Leone's bread. It was awesome. It also comes with housemaid potato chips, which were excellent. My wife had the Smashburger with sweet potato fries. She said it was amazing. I had a Franzeskonner beer, which is very hard to find so I was very happy about that. My wife had a winter tequila cocktail, which looked beautiful and also tasted great. We passed on dessert, but we will definitely be back. They also have other really great entrées. We visited on a Friday afternoon in August. 14 beers on tap plus a mango seltzer and a shandy. Several different kinds of lagers, IPA's and pale ales. My girlfriend and I each had a flight and a full pour, but nothing I had seemed super interesting to me. I think the mark of a quality brewery is whether or not I want to bring any cans home with me when I leave. This was not the case for Toms River as there was nothing I felt I needed to add to my beer fridge at home. Everything else is 5 stars. Amazingly cozy outdoor beer garden, spacious indoor taproom, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a fun watch party for the Women's Rugby World Cup England vs. USA game when we were there. Fun spot for locals to hang out with lots of fun events, but far from the best beer in NJ.
