They have trivia which is fun and I thought the food was good. Our waiter was friendly and service was quick.

Went for the music and ended up eating dinner. The Elbow Room is a cute beachy venue. Our service was excellent. The spicy vodka rigatoni was delicious. Will be back for both the food AND entertainment. read more

A very good reliable neighborhood feel tavern. First time here. We came for Sunday night live music with Bobby Bandeira. A holiday party night. He was playing great tunes, people were dancing. I have been living in Bradley for a few months now.. my boyfriend and I are huge foodies! We tried The Elbow Room the other weekend and I am disappointed. The place is outdated, clean... but outdated. Our food was not the best... frozen burgers, fries, and my French onion soup had 0 flavor, it was basically water or it was microwaved. I am not one to bash on a restaurant either, so I feel bad doing so. My MAIN ISSUE was that there was a solo singer performing there and it was SO LOUD I COULDNT HEAR MY BOYFRIEND who was sitting an inch away from me. I loveeee live bands and music, but it's such a small space it was so brutal lol. I had to leave immediately after eating my meal ( which wasn't good, the burger was sliding all over the bun with grease and had freezer burn) Food: 4/10 Ambience: 3/10 Staff: 8/10 If they renovated this, changed their chefs, and lowered the music level it would've been okay. I stopped in on a Tuesday night after taking the train back from the city. There was music bingo! So fun! Every other Tuesday night. Great $7 Sauvignon Blanc all day every day :) tried the chicken wings and they were great too! Such good people at the bar, I will be coming here again. read more

There are a lot people involved in this story: my mother-in-law (MIL), father-in-law (FIL), my husband, A, my brother (BIL), his boyfriend (BILBF), my sister-in-law (SIL), and her boyfriend (SILBF), who comes in later. This was a trip my MIL and BIL planned because they are both beach people. A and I are not beach people. Truthfully, I didn't really want to go but I had to because it was a family obligation. We all got to Bradley Beach on Thursday. BIL had booked an Air BnB. I've never stayed at an Air BNB before. It was an interesting experience. The house was nice, although it only had 1 shower and there were 8 of us total in that house. First, we were all there, except for SILBF (he came the following day). We chose this place for dinner because it was close by and since it was raining, we didn't want to go too far. And it was a good first choice. I got the pasta, A and his dad got a burger, I think BIL got a salad and BILBF got the chicken. SIL got a salad with salmon, and I don't remember what MIL got (maybe a burger too). The food was really good and the service was efficient. The waiter was friendly and easy-going. Food was amazing. Since we were by the water, I figured seafood would be fresh and it was. You wouldn't think a little town like this would have good food but it does. So if you're in Bradley Beach, check this place out. Their cocktails are good too. And it's so much cheaper than New York. Wayyyy cheaper. At the end of the meal, my SIL put down her card and I said, "I'll venmo you." But she and BIL decided that they were going to add everything up at the end of the trip and split it from there. Sorry guys, but dumbest idea ever. Because we all paid for at least one meal and now it's confusing to figure out who owes who how much and my BIL is still working through the math. If we had just paid it back at the end of each meal, we wouldn't be in this situation. Word to the wise: when you go on family trips, pay the person back right then and there. read more

They wouldn't let my friend use the restroom unless somebody in our group ordered something, but I guess the happy hour deal was so good that ultimately, I can't hate them for it. Basically, for $10, you get a full appetizer and a pretty extensive choice list of drinks. Being from the city, my mind was blown. As you can see from the pictures, the appetizers weren't small either - it truly is quite the deal. Granted, it's not fine dining. We Had lunch there today and Ordered Pulled pork sandwich, turkey Ruben and a few drinks. The Interior was clean and had some beach vibes and waitress was friendly. There is quite a bit on the menu. So much to the point that there's too much. The turkey Reuben wasn't quite what I would call a turkey.. I felt the Ruben was more like a turkey sandwich with a little bit of coleslaw on it. Had an awesome experience at the elbow room for dinner! The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the live music! Table set up was decent. During the dinner crowd, staffing seemed short, but it was clear they were stressed and doing their best. The food here was very good. We ordered the mac n cheese balls and garlic mozzarella bites for appetizers and tried the watermelon mojito. Apps were delicious and hot. Seemed the drinks were decent but differed in taste despite being the same drink. I was very confused how the ordering worked as we placed an order for apps and main courses at the start but was later informed that they would get the mains going? However, they came out quickly after that and were super fresh and hot. The short rib sandwich was delicious and the quantity was definitely worth it for what you pay. The elbows and cheese were also really tasty. The place can get busy around dinner and space is limited so I recommend getting a reservation in advance. What a great find in Bradley Beach right on 71! A tables right outside of the restaurant front, which is nice. Restaurant seems small but it's split between a giant bar and a nice seating area. They had a daily drink special for a $5 vodka drink, but their menu priced drinks are great for the area. $7 house wine! Out server was nice and informative on the menu. They completely remodeled the Elbow Room about two years ago. It was formerly called the Draughting Table. Upon walking in I didn't recognize the place at all. It's nicely fixed up though the bar area on the Southern side gives rise to its name, hence, in order to pass, you only have elbow room to proceed. Possibly the architect miffed that one. Staff is very friendly and sitting at the bar, I ordered calamari with chili sauce on shredded cabbage; a really different tasty dish. My brother's family ate their meals at the bar with me and had assorted Mexican fare. Now on the other side of the bar are the tables. And mind you, there's more than elbow room on that side. I still didn't ask why we didn't sit on that side. There's a cute sign on the exit door stating...Free Beer Tomorrow. But is 2moro ever in the present tense??? read more

What did this menu not have to offer?!? Everything from pierogies to sesame tuna to tater tot nachos!!! Such a wide range of options on the menu, there's seriously something for everyone. I came with my family (12 of us) on a Friday night. I don't know how our waitress (Alyssa) managed to get all of our orders completely right while keeping a drink in everyone's hand and a smile on her face. She was attentive, friendly and helpful. For appetizers, we split a bunch including the garlic cheese balls, fried avocado, sesame tuna, tater tachos, pierogies, and stuffed artichoke. Biting into garlic cheese balls was an explosion of garlic in your mouth - yum! The sesame tuna was my favorite appetizer. I loved that it was served over seaweed salad. For entrees, the ribs were delicious, they fell right off the bone. They come with sweet potato fries on the side which were also super tasty. Only thing I would skip was the bolognese. It wasn't your typical bolognese, it was a look creamier and didn't have a lot of flavor. Other than that, everyone loved their meals. Our waitress showed us samples of all their desserts on a platter, which definitely sold us because of how good everything looked. Went here during restaurant week for the first time. I was here years prior when it was the Draughting Table. Our server was wonderful. The owner even stopped by to say high. Nice touch. We started with the veg flatbread and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both excellent. The entrees, wild caught shrimp risotto and the chicken rollatini were also excellent. Let me be clear this review is about atmosphere more than food. The food here fair, some dishes better than others (good burger, dry chicken, okay salmon). Also, the drinks were watery. However the atmosphere is not conducive to an enjoyable meal. They had a one man band blaring his music at 7:00 PM. Dinner conversation was near to impossible. Further, the TV's were tuned to Fox News. So no dinner conversation and nothing to do but watch the nonsense and lies of Fox scrolling by on closed caption. No thanks. read more

We started with another favorite which is The Wedge salad. OMG! It was delicious! Unlike another place we had gone to, the Elbow Room served it up with lots of topping!! It was perfect. I then had my chicken fajita. It was very tasty but not traditionally served although the black beans and rice were delicious. Our friends had the traditional salad and it was topped with lots of shaved parm. It looked delicious and they said it was. Based on Yelp reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. We were not dissatisfied. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a pleasant hostess. We sat in the dining room. A quick glance showed a nice bar area presumably patronizing by the regular clients. The whole place has a warm and welcoming feeling. Our server Camryn J came over quickly with menus and the specials of the day as well as bottled water. She also took our drink orders. We orders red and white wines( both California) that were pleasing to the palate. The portion size was also good We shared a shrimp in coconut sauce appetizer which was excellent. The shrimp were large, fresh and plentiful. For entrees we had Pei Mussels and tater tacos. Again both were very pleasing to the palette and more than adequate for our needs. We passed on coffee and dessert ( no room) but saw t,he choices other diners had. Yummy. Again our server Camryn was excellent, the food and drinks were yummy and the value was also very good. I had high expectations for this place but it fell a bit short. For one, the photos of the bar make it seem a little cozier than it was. We ordered a few drinks, which were fine, and some food. We got mozzarella sticks, which fell apart as we tried to grab them. Our fried avocado was okay but the sauce was way too sweet. I liked the way the wings were fried, but the sauce again was a little off. Finally we shared a burger, which came out to be a tad bit overdone and the fries a little soggy.
