Stopped in for a quick lunch today. I ordered chicken fingers and fries and my husband got a spicy tuna poke bowl. My lunch was fine and my husband enjoyed his. We spent $16 on a Malibu Bay Breeze bucket when tasted nothing like it.

I think a frozen pina colada.

Full disclosure right off the top - this is not my scene and never has been. This is quintessential Jersey Shore, we pump our fists not our gas. It's a two-story bar/dance club with tons of pulsing techno beats (though not insanely loud, which I appreciated), and lots of guys with way too much hair gel and spray tans. Every cliché is right here for your viewing pleasure. My noble chum posse came here during our Seaside boardwalk people-watching expedition this past Saturday night around 8 or 9. I'd guess we stayed for half an hour or so, maybe a little longer. I imagine this place gets considerably busier later in the evening, but during our visit, it was pretty crowded though not overwhelmingly so. Our first stop was the bathroom, which was fairly clean for a Seaside bar though there was quite a bit of naughty graffiti in the stalls (pretty par for the course, and some of it was even mildly clever). Two of us then got drinks at the second floor bar while the other scouted the adjacent deck for a good table. We each got a frozen cocktail - I believe hers was a margarita, while mine was a pina colada-like concoction, both fairly decent portions. There was no wait and both drinks were received probably within 30 seconds of ordering. Perfectly acceptable for what it was. She paid, but I think each drink was less than $10, which, again, seems fine. One big issue - the floors were super slick. I never full-on slipped or came close to falling down, but that's only because I was super careful once I saw a few other people momentarily lose their footing. I'm honestly surprised they'd play with fire like this. A slippery floor with a bunch of inebriated people? What could go wrong? Other than that though, it was perfectly fine. We heard a lot of songs that I suspect are considered almost retro now (Flo Rida's Low is 15 years old now, which makes me feel beyond ancient), and there was a light breeze despite it being a humid summer night. You could do worse than this place, but make sure you have some tread on your shoes.

On my normal rating scale, this is a 3.5 but because our server was so friendly and helpful I am rounding up! I tried typical Boardwalk food that my friends ordered- lots of fried stuff not anything to write home about. I was however happy to see sushi on the menu and the sushi chef appeared to be rolling out decently prepared rolls. I'm also happy to report the sushi is good! The cheesesteak sandwich is also a good choice after the sushi. By the way, the fried Oreos are worth the calories if you're craving or have never tried them

Good place for late night drinks. So many places close early in seaside but beachcomber stays open late. The bartender was very nice and drinks were cheap. The bathrooms were not the cleanest.

Great view and socially distancing practices in place but the food was average. I had the grilled chicken panini; it came out cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. I understand that COVID times are making things difficult for restaurants but the basics still need to be addressed. Convenience and location (beach) are its best attributes but the town is seedyso I won't be in that beach town again soon.

    Drinking some sorrows away.

I have eaten the seafood here several times and have never been disappointed ... but haven't sat down to have a drink in over a decade maybe. I was having an extremely rough day and the first bartender I had wasn't very interested in me .. I don't have a penis or a money clip .. these are my shortcomings, unfortunately. Alas, the second bartender who struck up a conversation with me was a total delight!. She was energetic, fun and knowledgeable. Her mother is Colombian and we were able to discuss our favorite out of the box spots around here and she gave me awesome suggestions to where to hit up next !! I am in the industry so this was an excellent lesson for me.... this girl made a 180 of my evening by just Acknowledging me and getting me excited to try out more hot spots im missing out on. Great conversation , boozy drinks, I know the bar seafood is good and I didn't break the bank . Of course I'm coming back

Yes! This place was delish!! Right on the beach and very yummy. I got the chicken teriyaki pike bowl (10/10) And California rolls 8/10. My boyfriend got the salmon pike bowl he said it was a 7/10. Service is order and seat yourself which works out perfect for a beach day! Our server for drinks was wonderful. The Ambiance was so much fun for my boyfriend and I

Typical boardwalk bar and grill. The bartender was friendly and spent time talking to us about why we were in town. This place is absolutely dead during the off season. The food situation is weird because you go order from a counter and they wave you over when it's done. The menu was smaller than their peak season but they still made us some sandwiches and wraps. We would have liked the wraps to come with fries with something as a side. Overall, typical as can be. Nothing special here. I'm sure it's a cool spot during the peak season.

My favorite thing about coming to this bar, is the rooftop area they have. You catch nice breezes and views of the beach/ocean. When I come on the weekends in the summertime, they always have a live DJ spinning up good music. People dance and just enjoy themselves. Beers and Rum & Cokes are around $5, which is what you would expect to pay. They have a $15 Bacardi bucket, which is the best deal, as it is loaded with alchohol and taste great. It has some fruity flavors, but you feel nice once you finish it. There is also plenty of seating on the rooftop, so you will be able to find a spot. I have not tried the food here yet, but for drinks and atmosphere, I think this place is great and a must stop, when your in Seaside.

Do they have happy hour on Saturday and what time does the band start tonight?

No happy hour but Domestic drafts are $2.50 and Domestic bottles $3 all the time. I think it's for Bud, Coors and Miller. Not sure about the band - it's probably on their website.

The stairs going up to this club build the excitement but if you're a girl, make sure to wear the comfy version of your six inch stilettos. The bars are on either side of the doors when you walk in and we had no problem getting a drink. The venue itself is super cool, the perfect size and it wasn't too overpacked when we were there. The lighting here, just incredible. It's so fun to see how they match it to the music! Big big fan of this. The acoustics were also very good and left you feeling like the bass was inside of you at the end of a song. I would definitely come here again for a concert in the future!

I attended the HQ2 Beachclub at Ocean Casino Resort with a group of friends to see Afrojack. The…read moreevent ran from 11 AM to 6 PM, and we arrived around 12:30 PM. The first issue was simply finding the venue. Coming from the self-parking garage, there was very little signage directing guests to the Beachclub. We eventually found our way by following another group headed there, but better directions and signs would make a huge difference. The biggest problem, however, was the security screening. My friends and I carefully reviewed the venue rules beforehand and followed the bag and dress code requirements. Despite that, security went through our belongings in an extremely invasive manner. They opened wallets, flipped through personal items, and thoroughly searched small bags that were well within the approved size limits. They were looking at how much money and credit cards I had! When I questioned why they were looking through things like my wallet, noting that even airport security doesn't typically inspect belongings that way, the response I received was rude and dismissive. The entire interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily intrusive. Once inside, it became clear that unless you're planning to spend hundreds of dollars on bottle service, there aren't many places where you can simply sit, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. Shortly after we found seats, we were approached and made to feel unwelcome unless we were spending money. The overall vibe felt very pretentious and exclusive rather than welcoming. What made this even more frustrating was the inconsistency in enforcement. The venue rules clearly state that smoking is prohibited, yet multiple people were openly smoking throughout the event while numerous security staff stood nearby and did nothing. Meanwhile, security had spent so much effort scrutinizing our belongings at the entrance. It gave the impression that certain guests were being targeted while others were allowed to ignore the rules. Exiting the venue was also confusing. We attempted to leave through the same area where we entered and followed visible exit signs, only to be told to turn around and walk all the way to the opposite side of the venue. Once again, clearer signage would help avoid unnecessary confusion. To be fair, the bathrooms were clean throughout the day, and there were attendants making sure they stayed that way. The bartenders were also friendly and professional. I was only drinking water, and every time I ordered one, they were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, those positives weren't enough to outweigh the overall experience. Between the confusing layout, invasive security procedures, inconsistent rule enforcement, and constant pressure to spend money, this venue simply isn't for me. No matter which DJ is performing, I won't be returning. I'd much rather attend events at venues in Philadelphia that offer a more relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this was a miss for us. The taste was fine, but neither of us liked the crust and wasn't hot enough. Didn't seem like your normal 'brick oven pizza.' We also split a 'small plate' of linguini and clams. This was just ok as well. The fresh clams were great, but the others were pretty chewy. The whole plate also needed salt. Service was pleasant and fairly quick, but the food was overall just ok. The place itself looked like it would be pretty fun if I was in my 20s.
