Small spot in downtown Point Pleasant. Right in the heart of town with ample parking lots mere steps away. Fun atmosphere with lots of tables and a decent sized bar for the size. Windows open in the summer so you can sit outside or enjoy the weather from inside. Awesome tap list I've had some really great beers here I never thought I would get to try. Cocktail menu is fantastic and the bar tenders know how to mix a great drink. Food is small plates but tasty! The food is delicious and more creative than your average brew pub. Lots of TVs for sports and some great food specials during the week. A solid whiskey and tequila selection too, although I have not explored the spirits side of things when I visited. POINT PLEASANT BEACH: Amendment 21 is a speakeasy style restaurant and their outdoor tables are dog friendly! Located in downtown Point, their menu is one of the best we have seen with an eclectic selection, vegan options, 40 beers on tap, and a nice list of cocktails. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious! A doggie water bowl is available too. The service is great and they made sure to give Brie a lot of attention. You can sit at high top tables along the sidewalk or at a counter looking inside to watch the game. When you are done, walk around the beautiful shopping district! The beach and boardwalk are not dog friendly, but you can head to the Manasquan Inlet on the PPB side for a nice walk along the water. read more

Our order that took forever was wrong and we did not want to wait another help hour for a correction. Caesar salad wrap was $23 , fries extra and a small handful at that. . We order that frequently and even in this economy have not paid that much. Our other dish was a fried chicken special - chicken thighs were so dry it was hard to chew. What a great little bar! They have so many beers on tap, it feels like you are at a brewery that serves nice cocktails. Best of both worlds. The food is delicious. I would describe it as creative, elevated bar food. Come here hungry and thirsty and you won't be mad you did. There is bar seating and mostly 4 top tables with a few bigger ones. I've come to Amendment several times and I have always had such an awesome experience The theme of the restaurant plays off the prohibition/speakeasy theme; really cool bar and a small restaurant but super cute The food was awesome; I got the blackened shrimp tacos and my husband got the fried chicken sandwich. His sandwich was super crispy, full of flavor and my tacos were the perfect amount of food. The shrimp was super flavorful and the guac that came along with it was so fresh and yummy. The cocktails there are always delicious with a ton of beers on tap. I tried the jalapeño blackberry margarita and it was delicious! If there was one reason I gave it a four and not a five was just the service. There were not that many people in the restaurant but once the food was dropped off, the waiter did not check up on us to see how it was or to refill our drinks until it was time for the check. Stopped by when I was in the area; after reading the reviews about craft beer selection. Service was good, bartender working both the bar and table patrons. They have a large selection of draft beers. The issue why only three stars; The sign advertised all draft beers $2 off during happy hour and I was charged full price. I asked the bartender and I was given two responses some kegs are more expensive and the computer system doesn't change the price and I was informed I should have asked which beers were included in " All Drafts" as I took a photo of the sign on the way out the bartender yelled she would give me my $2 dollars, I did not go back to get it, it is the principal of the business displaying incorrect information; the sign should read select drafts discounted. Yeah, Amendment 21 has really upped their game since I was last here in '15. Yes, the service was primo and the FDR burger with fries was outstanding. Included with a half pound burger was lettuce tomato onions pork belly blu cheese spicy chili's and a pickle. Even the fries kicked ass. My brother also had a burger, of which the name escapes me, but he raved on, yeah! You couldn't go wrong with what we ordered today!! I had a nice experience at Amendment 21. I came here after hearing good things from friends! We decided to come on a Friday night, and entered the restaurant at 5:30. It was already packed and there was a 30 minute wait for a table! No problem. We ordered some drinks and stood by the bar. They have a fabulous draft list and specialty cocktails as well. We noted they have specials, 2 for 1 burgers on Monday nights, and a taco Tuesday that features $3 tacos amongst other things. We were seated after about 35 minutes and were greeted instantly by a server/bartender. We knew what we wanted because we had looked at the menu and ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, pickle fries, and a steak quesadilla. Food came out semi quickly. We noted that the bartenders were also the servers, which slowed things down as the night went on. I would say this was my one con, only because we found ourselves going extended periods of time without our waiter coming to the table. Our food was really good. Portions are large so everything was perfect to share and then some. I really appreciated the steak quesadilla being truly filled with steak and cooked to order. Drinks were amazing at this establishment and so was the service. My daughter and I took a quick trip to Pt. pleasant for her bday. I had some mixed drinks at The Wharfside and the bar at Jenkinson inlet which were quite disappointing. The drinks at Amendment 21 were fresh, strong, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! We also had mahi mahi tacos that were yummy. My only complaint is the chips served with the fish were a little stale and the guacamole portion was tiny. Came here with my parents on a Sunday evening after hiking the Manasquan Reservoir. Was pretty crowded and loud when we got there - but assuming it's a big spot for the locals. They didn't have a host or anything - so we decided to squeeze in at the bar. The beer menu is listed on a large flat TV screen in the back which was a bit hard to see. However my parents' beers and my Moscow mule were very good. We ordered the shrimp tacos, chicken quesadilla, veggie flatbread and the large pretzel (the pretzel theme of the day was Mexican so it came with nachos inside) which was PLENTY for the three of us. Very generous portion sizes. The food overall was ok - a little bland and salty but we enjoyed it. My day personally didn't like the quesadilla as it was dry and overloaded with just chicken. My friend and went to Amendment 21 as we have done many times, Thursday. They have great specials that are so worth it and delicious. The problem is the bartender's/waiters. Talk about the worse, holy hell that's an understatement.first of all they looked like they were very young which could explain the horrible service. Never ask or check to see if you need another drink or even utensils. Do they no know service equals tip? Sad state of affairs and for amendment. I will never go back on a week night regardless of the specials. So do expect much when dining there which is a shame. read more

We started off with the spicy pineapple mule which was very refreshing yet it definitely gave off wintery vibes with the cinnamon added. For an appetizer, we got the nachos with chicken. A very cool hole in the wall with the feel of an upscale dive bar... or is that just be because it's lodged directly behind Europa South? :D Theres a good selection of beer on tap which includes some local breweries. The food is good and you'll be sure to find your typical dive bar favorites. The bartenders fit right in with the atmosphere and are on top of things at all times. They have good live music too.
