This is hands down the Best cheesesteak I have ever had. The bread, the meat and veggies are just perfect. The mozzarella is Real not the usual things you get everywhere else. My first time going for a Valentine's lunch with my family, I had to take a second sandwich home. And the Angels showed favor and I was able to get another today. I've had the chicken piccata and it was authentic and definitely yummy. If you're looking for great customer service and amazing food. Look no further!!! We used to occasionally visit Christo's former incarnation in Peachtree City, until they closed in mid-2022. I noticed that they had reopened in a new location, so we drove over to check it out last weekend. They are now located near the main entrance to Summergrove near Newnan, in the small section just west of the entrance where there are a few other businesses (a gas station, restaurants, etc.). They share a lot with one or two 9-5 type places, so parking later in the day wasn't a problem. There appeared to be other semi-shared lots close by too. They were about 80% full when we visited on a Saturday around 6 p.m. The decor is reminiscent of their old location, from what I recall. The menu features pizzas, appetizers, and an array of pasta dishes. We opted for pasta and it tasted the same as I recalled. The entrees come with salads and there is a complimentary bread service. They at least had wine and beer. I didn't notice if they had a full bar. Prices are similar to what I recall (maybe adjusted for inflation) and a comparable to other similar restaurants (i.e., not fast food or fine dining). I don't know how often we'll come here just based on it being further from our house, but I enjoyed our meal. read more

Visiting for work and staying in Atlanta but found myself in the area and looking for Italian. Definitely worth it, it's a smaller operation and very quant but some of the friendliest wait staff in the nation. Food was great and would highly recommend coming here. read more

We absolutely love this place. Best italian food in the newnan area. It is our new obsession. The pizza is amazing.You can get a very thin crust which we like.But there are other options. Also, favorites are the soccer dad pasta and the tuscan chicken. We have also had most everything on the menu, including the eggplant, which can be very difficult to make at an italian restaurant.And these guys know exactly how to do it. Artist ambiance is fantastic.There's a nice small bar and also a patio area tv to watch any sports events and just great staff.Great owners and amazing food.Absolutely check these guys out. read more

Love the food truck! So we decided to try the restaurant. We were quite underwhelmed. Cute, cozy little restaurant. Nice size booths to accommodate parties larger than 4 people was really great. The waitstaff were all very pleasant and had smiles. Looked generally happy to be there. The host was very welcoming and our waitress was so sweet. It was nice to see a salad included with an entree. Ranch dressing was not good, at all. Couldn't finish the salad, which had too much iceberg in it for my taste. I ordered gluten free penne alfredo and added chicken. The gluten free pasta brand they used wasn't very good. The flavor was fine but the pasta fell apart when it hit the water. The waitress apologized for it and told me when she brought the entree. The pasta was over sauced and there wasn't much chicken in the dish. It was mixed in and sliced so thin. Not presented on top of the pasta. Others in our party had the garlic knots which they raved about how good they were. Wings, BBQ was awesome, sweet chili had a nice spicy bite, and mild was good. They did not like the bleu cheese dressing at all either. And shrimp fra diablo, said the sauce was amazing but wished they would have removed the tails from the shrimp. Overall it was way overpriced for the quality of food. For us, it wasn't worth the drive. I would go back for pizza though since I do love their cauliflower crust and their pizza is my favorite. Everything we have ordered has been extremely good. My family has been at the Newnan restaurant at least 6 times in the past month. They especially like the cracker crust pizza and the Ziti. Any of the pasta with meat is awesome. Keep up the great cooking. read more

I've been a loyal customer for years than they closed, and went on the road with a food truck. Recently, they reopened in Newnan. So we went once and didn't think it was that good. But we tried to give it more visits. Let's talk about that chicken parmigiana. In the old place they pan seared the chicken cutlet now the deep fry it and it completely changes everything with regards to taste, and texture to a tough consistency. Go back to the skillet! Some tells me you changed your sauce from ptc. This flavored sauce is different and not as good. Something changed that's all I'm saying. Anyway I have to go for their pizza. We stopped in for dinner on our way back to Alabama. We were drawn in by the family and local owned aspect, and we are so glad that we did. From the fresh made mozzarella to the made from scratch sauces, everything was amazing. The owner was so kind and friendly and our server Laurie was such a sweet lady and so helpful making suggestions. We have been wanting to try Christos for sometime and finally went this weekend. Once seated we waited for the server to return to take our order, after 15 minutes of waiting and the staff sitting at the bar watching football totally ignoring us we left. We were heartbroken when Christos closed in PTC and ELATED when they reopened recently in Newnan- and we were NOT disappointed! Same friendly service, same REAL Italian food with side salads and bread with spiced oil dip- wife had linguine Bolognese and I had penne alla vodka- both EXCEPTIONAL- Bolognese is delicious and loaded with meat and flavor as always, and it's the best pink vodka sauce I know of in GA- owners are super friendly and very present with the customers-.an EXCELLENT dining experience! read more

Our party of four enjoyed lasagna and chicken piccata on Saturday evening. Highs - food quality, serving temperature, portion size and service. Lows - noise level, dry dinner rolls instead of Italian bread, complimentary salad. Prices a little on the high side but reasonable, house wine decent with a good pour. My wife and I visited on Mother's Day (since they were short-staffed, they allowed us to make reservations for 2!). The staff greeted us warmly, and allowed us to examine the menu without hovering. The owner stopped by multiple times throughout the meal to check on us. My wife had the Tuscan Chicken, and I had the Chicken Parmesan. Both portions were generous and very well-flavored. It was a great Mother's Day dinner, with leftovers that were enjoyed the next day. We can't wait to visit again, and try their other dishes, including their pizza! read more
