I went to take a spin class this morning after two different friends recommended the studio- I really enjoyed the class, and they were extremely helpful and accomodating prior to my arrival. Once there, the front desk was super friendly and there is free parking!!! The best part, however was the instructor: Andy made the class a challenge and kept you moving with great music and different moves he was terrific I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of the same ol same ol larger places ( you know who I mean) Alll around great experience!!! read more

I've been to several cycling studios, and Chrome Cycle is certainly one of the best. They have fantastic music and great instructors. Their theme rides are awesome, and they have created a great community. I only wish they had showers, and that the bikes had gear numbers. Also, a student discount would be nice! read more

I started cycling at Chrome about five weeks ago. I've been to several studios in the past. I love this place! The cycling studio itself is really comfortable. The acoustics and the lighting were all thought out by the owner so the experience is a really great one. All the staff are welcoming. Any questions are answered quickly by the owner, Ninette. Very helpful. The instructors are great. I especially like Wyatt. She is a great motivator and explains everything carefully. Her classes are varied, fun and a hard workout. Great feeling when finished! The parking is so easy which is also a cut above any of the other places I've gone to. It's easy to feel comfortable and at home here. Wow wow wow!!!!!!! I do not have enough good words to use! I took the best spin class of my life today, taught by Ankin, Sunday morning. Not only was the studio equipped with shoes that click into the bikes, and weights and everything state of the art, but Ankin was an out of this world instructor. She was SO energetic, always making me push myself more. She was fun and made the class exciting and I forgot that I was working out; I was just sweating and having fun. It was like a dance party on a bike, great music, with choreography and motivation all in one! She really seemed to be having fun, which made the whole energy in the room go up. Also, she was cracking jokes and dancing, which made the whole class entertaining, while still motivating me to push myself harder than ever. It was a fun and exhilarating, calorie-scorching, very tough work-out. I will definitely be back to take more classes with Ankin! read more

I went to Chrome Cycle Studio for the first time a few months ago. I took Andy's class and I was hooked ever since. I continue to ride with him weekly. He is probably THE BEST spin teacher I have ever had... Actually the teachers are all really good but Andy's 7:00a or 8:30a ride works best for me. Andy's ride takes you from rolling hills to steep climbs and I know I am getting a great workout. He plays music that is right on the beat from the most current tracks or he will throw out some old school tunes. Nanette and her staff are beyond friendly. Your first class is free and Chrome Cycle will offer you free shoes and towels. Free parking downstairs is also a plus. I highly recommend Chrome Cycle the next time you plan to hop a bike and want to enjoy an amazing ride.. read more

If I can give Chrome Cycle Studio 10 stars, I would! I've tried Soul Cycle and other spin studios in the LA and OC area, and I have to say I enjoy Chrome Cycle way more. The instructors are enthusiastic, energetic, and so friendly. They push you to be greater and spin harder. The instructors have great pop, hip hop, edm playlists. Due to my schedule, I've only taken classes Alex, Wyatt, Ankin, and Bam and they all became my favorite instructors. The facility is always clean and spotless. Front desk staff are welcoming and extremely helpful when you need help setting up the bike. The studio also include shoes in their class fees which is a huge plus (no additional fee)!! I'm on my second month at Chrome and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I've already recommended Chrome to my colleagues, friends, and family and they all came back after their first class. Also, there is FREE parking. They have a parking lot out front and also an underground structure which is really rare in LA. Overall, Chrome is the best spin studio I've been to. Give it a try. Ninette (the owner) was super helpful in showing me how to set up, adjust the bike, and get used to the shoes. Everyone has been genuinely friendly and makes me feel comfortable trying something new. Great location, free parking, free shoes, and great instructors! I really felt like I was getting a good workout after each class. Only problem for me is that there are not enough classes throughout the weekdays and weekends. There are very few on saturdays and sundays and on the weekdays they're only open in the mornings and night time, nothing in between. Other than that I highly recommend this place!! read more

Love this place. Every instructor that Ive taken thus far are certified personal trainers, and it shows. The rides are more athletic than classes I've tried at other studios. I am OBSESSED with this studio! I make the drive from Manhattan Beach and it is well worth every mile. The studio just has a cool vibe and makes me feel right at home. It's clean, modern and spacious. I love the experience the instructors give, the music and lights are on point. They also incorporate weights into the workout offering a more elevated cycling class. Finally a westside spinning studio! easy location (including parking). great room set up - bikes are not on top of each other, towels provided, good sound system, well placed fans, even has cool lighting arrays that most of the instructors take advantage of. Have tried all of their instructors and all are strong - though each have different emphases which really encourages a rider to take classes from the full variety of instructors available. My friend invited me to a class last night, and I have to say, that bike is probably one of the best quality stationary bikes I have ever been on - super smooth and new. They provide complimentary spin shoes to you. The studio is super sleek and fresh looking. The front desk staff was friendly. The instruction was great, and I am glad the instructor made a point to call us by name in class, and to push us without it being too over the top. I hate spin classes that are nothing but talking and speaking in metaphors, when I am there to simply spin and sweat to good music. I am not a fan of doing weights while spinning, because it is anatomically bad for the back, so be super vigilant about being in good form, and do the movements at your own pace. I can't say enough about this studio -- from the amazing instructors, to the top notch facility (clean and brand new equipment), to the friendly staff. Before having kids, I exercised 6 days a week. After having two kids back to back and not being able to work out regularly for over 2 years (ok, let's face it, not at all), it has been challenging to get back to my pre-baby shape and motivation. It's so much easier to skip the work out because, on any given day, there is always a baby (or babies) who is sick, teething, fussy, experiencing sleep regression, etc. Chrome has been instrumental in my postpartum recovery. The classes are high intensity. In 50 minutes I can burn 1200 calories (1249 cal to be exact) and then dash back to home to spend time with the kids without them missing a beat. I've tried many other cycling studios and they all pale in comparison to Chrome. If you want a challenging high intensity fun work out...get to CHROME CYCLE! read more
