We went to see one of our favorite bands, the Windjammers. 5 stars for the band, 3 stars for the venue. They're a Vegas local yacht rock band. They were great as usual! Although, I think the sound in the showroom was a bit off tonight. There was only one server for the whole showroom. Poor girl was working her butt off! They really should higher more help. When we go to the Station Casinos, we often like to get the $1.99 margaritas. They're delicious and a great value. They had the margarita machine at the bar, but the bartender said they don't serve the margaritas when live music is going on. Red Rock Casino offers them during live music shows. We enjoyed them there several times during live music shows. I think that Station Casinos needs to be consistent in their promotional offerings across all of their casinos so we know what to expect. read more

Blessed with jazz! We got to see Micheal Lington & Paul Taylor. Two amazing saxophonist ! It was our first visit to the Chrome Showroom. It's a good size locals venue. 3 seating options and a beverage counter inside. A lot of ushers so you will be led with lighting to your seat. Some popular artists perform here. Dinner and a show is optional because of the many restaurants in the Santa Fe hotel. The duo put on a good show and the audience was happy to participate. The entire establishment allows for smoking inside and I couldn't stay. My thought started to burn. read more

Located inside the Santa Fe Hotel/Casino. They have stadium seating, tables, booths and a dance floor. The sound system is pretty good and the staff/bar tenders were friendly. Went to see an 80's cover band and the show and vibe were good. Overall good experience. read more

First time coming to this Chrome Room to see a 90's cover band. Great sounds they had stadium seating tables and chairs and a dance floor so it was a pretty cool mix of seating arrangements. Overall it was a decent sized room for a band and they only had one bar but I just got a sprite and it was $4 (+$1 tip) better then most places on the strip ranging from $7-$9 ish. It's a bit far from where I live-almost 30 min but I gathered a group of 6 of us and we all had a good time. The only thing is distance in my opinion. The 90'a band we saw shud be playing weekly on Fremont they did a great job of r&b,top 40's, dance & alternative rock bands etc. Fun night overall! read more

Overall sound is good, but they pack the seating in like an airplane. Bartenders do not have the sense of urgency that is needed for this type of venue. If you want to get a drink before the show, arrive at least an hour early! read more

They overbook and then claim they don't have enough seats. They then say then say they can get folding chairs which pisses of the people behind you. They won't seat you in a booth because it is "reserved". Reserved for WHO??? Everything is "general admission".!! Really??!!! This place is totally messed up. I got my tickets from Ticketmaster and they didn't accept them. How can that possibly be??! read more

This concert venue in the Santa Fe Station has plenty of general seating available for the no-cover shows the casino hosts on the weekends. I've been to a lot of shows there, and I've never had a problem finding a seat. The dance floor also has a lot of room for dancing. The lighting and sound are also pretty solid. read more

A great spot to catch an event like UFC or boxing. It can seat 400+ and more standing comfortably. Beers aren't too expensive and every seat in the house is an excellent seat. Can't wait to come back again to enjoy the venue! Always a good time! read more

Fun place! Definitely a place where you could make your own episode of how I met your mother. Great atmosphere, live music, good sized dance floor. Good music from the MP3J (no one really 'DJs' anymore). Lots of well dressed fun people. The music is hip hop, old school , reggaeton, some Latin. When it's full it looks like a mix of someones church service and an urban family reunion. I don't drink so I don't know about any of that, but there is plenty of seating for the folks that just come to watch. Definitely a place worth making your regular spot. Last night they were honoring military folk with free entry with an ID....I don't know if that's a regular thing or just for Vet's Day coming up. Do not go here for line dancing. The floor is in disrepair with gaps and the management actually censors requested music. Apparently they only allow the tamest old school whitewashed songs. Not for young people or those of us who are young at heart.. I am 66 and white but apparently not white enough for the manager's wishes. I could visit a communist country or far right venue or possibly a church party if I wanted this kind of censorshop. Better venues for modern line dancing are Stoneys Gilleys even the Henderson multigeneration center. read more

The Chrome showroom at Santa Fe Station is a great venue. I've seen plenty of concerts here and plenty of UFC events. The staff is always very polite and customer-friendly. And the drinks are actually a decent price. Highly recommended for attending any events they do here in the future. read more

One our favorite venues in Vegas. We love the music on Wednesday nights. We are here tonight for Latin jazz with Dave Van Such. 4th Wednesdays. It is smoke free and has a large dance floor. Even if you don't dance, it is great to watch the other dancers. Update- Last night we returned to meet friends to see The FAB, a fabulous local Beatles tribute band. The music was outstanding. Everytime we listen, we are more impressed with their talents. The dance floor is huge and everyone is friendly. This time I am taking one star off for the smokey stale air. It is smoke free in the venue but the smoke carries in from the casino. After two hours, I could taste it in my throat and my sinuses started getting clogged up. If only Vegas was smoke free. The Suncoast recently replaced their carpet and at least that made a difference. They had a $1 margarita drink special for Cinco de Mayo but it was too sweet to finish. Their house wines are cheap but taste awful. We are lured by the great music here. read more

U F C in the Chrome Room! Holla! Ummmyeah. I've been to so many UFC events shown by the Stations Casino peeps and I must say each time I attend I get more and more disappointed. $10 cover to get in which doesnt guarantee you a spot so you better be early. There were actually people standing up in the back-no seats left. First off, I think this was the first event that I've been with no drink specials. Whaaat??! For years there used to be giveaways in between fights as well as drink specials. It made for a fun time while you watched the fights but... No not anymore. My BF ordered a double Jager shot. It honestly looked like a 1/2 shot with ice in it....best thing was TWENTY DOLLARS! Really? Come on now. Buckets of beer 5 for $25 seems a little much too. I swear I've paid $15 or $20 other times. They do sell munchies like hot dogs and nachos. I'm not sure how much that was but the BF got the nachos - stale chips and out of jalepenos. SMH. Way to take care of the locals right? It still brings in the people though. The place was full. Like I said peeps standing in the back. They do have tables for people who want to pay to use them. Another way to get more money out of us. I'm definitely starting to think paying $50 for pay per view at home is a better option. That way I know the shots will be coming from a $20 BOTTLE of Jager versus a $20 double shot with ice. ;) $20 to get in, $20 for a double shot, $25 bucket of beer and $5 nachos.....hm you do the math. *must add one more thing - Free to watch at BWW with no crazy drink prices and good grub. Went to see comedian/impressionist Dave Burleigh. The tickets were moderately priced at $15.00 and refererred to as a cover charge, not tickets. Margaritas were nine dollars a piece, much more than previously experienced at the same venue. The show was good and I found myself often laughing outloud. However, it seemed at times like the background music, from a live band, was a little over powering and made it hard to hear Dave Burleigh. Not my best experience at the Chrome Showroom, but I'll be back. Generally a good local place to see a show with plenty of seating. read more

Went to Chrome to watch UFC117. Paid $20 to get in, and got a "free" tub of stale popcorn. Beers were $7, Amp $4 & Soda $3... a little high-priced, but as expected. The set up was interesting, 1 BIG screen TV on either side of the stage, and a retractable screen covering the front of the stage with the event projected onto it. Unfortunately, the only seats with straight-on views towards any of these TV's were the "VIP" reserved booths and tables along the center. For everyone else (ourselves included) there was abundant theatre seating and small tables and chairs, from which you could see the screens slightly off-center. UFC 117 consisted of some GREATLY entertaining fights (especially Skyscraper's 2nd round come-back KO)... then tragedy: The people running Chrome decided to give us a "taste" of the band performing after the fights "Rock Sugar"... now, nothing against this band (and the lead singer actually had quite an amazing voice), but this was neither the time nor the place for this preview. The Main Event was about to begin, and as silly as watching the guys get checked by the doctor, and listening Joe Rogan's rants might be... that's what I paid to see, not the Pop/Metal band's cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman "mashed" with Journey's "Don't Stop Believein'"... Thankfully, management realized their error (as the crowd nearly went mutinous), and offered everyone a free beer after the fights as an apology. I probably wont pay to see a PPV event here again, as the 4 of us spent well over $100, and could've done that at home with plenty of drinks to spare. :) read more

I played a show here in December with one of the bands I play with, and it's a great venue. The sound guys kept up with us, and we threw them a couple of curve balls. Movie was so flipping loud. Gave me a headache! How can anyone enjoy a extremely loud movie rather go to Summerlin theaters. This is my 4th and very last time here for the movies..too bad it's like 5 mins from our condo. read more
