Incredible doesn't even begin to cover it. All the good reviews here are warranted. I can't imagine having our wedding at any other venue. From start to finish all the staff is SO helpful. I would email them with any question and hear back within the hour. Having a venue that deals with all the vendors made our wedding so low stress and they recommended fantastic, trustworthy vendors to deal with. All the meetings and prep sessions were so fun and seamless. Our day of coordinators (Leah and Deshone) were heaven sent!! I felt so calm and happy because we were taken care of every step of the way. The space itself is stunning and really doesn't need extra decor from the Ultimate Affair inclusive wedding package. We attended a wedding here and I have to say A Simple Affair Events Venue is one of a kind. A venue that has a an all in one venue where there is special place for the wedding ceremony, a cocktail bar for cocktail hour and in a moment the venue transfer's into the wedding reception. I really liked the style, the decor and how the tables were arranged for our friend's special wedding day. Friendly staff. Good food served. Lots of room for the dance floor and the Photo Booth area. This venue was so perfect for our wedding! They made it super easy and took care of pretty much everything. I loved that we could hire the vendors through them and they coordinated everything. This was the first and last venue that we went to. From the moment I walked in I knew it would fit my needs but it just kept getting better. The whole place is immaculately clean and smells great, massive space and the perfect temperature which is really important in Vegas. The staff walked us through everything, gave options, discounted or comped things we wanted but were a little outside of our budget and gave us another discount for choosing their place that day. They took care of booking the dj, a caricature artist and the taco vender we used. They kept me informed and made sure I didn't miss any deadlines or forget anything. There's also a park behind the venue which was perfect for taking pictures beforehand. We were able to include our dog in the wedding since they're pet friendly as well. On the day of everything ran smoothly, the employees even kept an eye on our pup since he was obsessed with the kitchen. The staff took care of everything that needed taking care of and the DJ checked in with me periodically which reminded me of a bunch of things I would have hated to forget. Everyone had space to talk, dance, take pictures and laugh. Everyone commented to me how perfect everything was and it really was the perfect place. Especially when you're coming out of town. Maddy was with us every step of the way from zoom meetings our first view of the venue to our final walk through appointment. Maddy was the best through it all. This is really a quaint space to be married in. Not to mention they have an awesome Dj they've been working with for several years who helps keep the magic on track (Thank you DJ Tony). Come day of wedding Jessy and Jennifer did a phenomenal job behind the scenes of making sure everything went as planned. Although the venue was so beautiful, the service from the staff was lacking and unprofessional. From the moment we had walked in, the staff had frowns on their faces all night. The bartender had no problems chit chatting with her fellow coworkers but as soon as someone wanted to order a drink, an eye roll was given, a sigh was done, and an attitude was served along with our drink. Multiple guests had discussed that they also felt the negative energy of the staff the whole night. It's such a shame to bring down such a beautiful venue by the attitudes of the staff. My husband and I used this venue for our Black Tie Optional wedding December 2025 and WOW -- we cannot express enough how amazing this venue and team are. We planned the entire wedding from out of state, only visiting once to pick out and finalize in person details, and it was so easy and stress free. We worked with Maddy for the majority of our planning and she was patient, communicative, and organized. We had some not-so-easy asks while planning our big day and she was professional and helpful every step of the way. My husband and I truly felt like the venue and all that it offered was too good to be true but were blown away with our big day. A Simple Affair offers multiple packages for your wedding day so you can really mind your budget. The add ons they offer are INCREDIBLE. Everything we needed -- we could get through the venue at little to no additional cost outside of our chosen package. I cannot explain how relieved I was to find a venue that had everything (I mean EVERYTHING) all in one place. As you start to plan your wedding you'll realize this is nearly impossible and makes A Simple Affair an actual unicorn of a venue. With the package we purchased they provided live florals, cutlery, linens, bartenders, an officiant, an arbor with florals, candles and glass votives, the DJ, a caricature artist, and more! We had our ceremony in the front half of the space with the curtain partition dividing the reception area. They set up everything how we planned (down to the added guest gifts at each place setting without us even asking!) and transformed the room to a full ballroom in minutes. The catering options are great and the Italian we chose was amazing! People are still talking about it. Their food and bar service was great and all night my guests kept commenting on how professional everyone was and how on top of things they were. As the bride, their team personally came to check if I needed anything at various times of the night. SO grateful for those check ins! The team has a text line so you can chat them anytime with questions. They create a portal specifically for you and your event so you can see updated timelines, pending charges, etc. They offer multiple meetings depending on the package you book with them and are so on top of things. We feel SO lucky to have found this dream of a venue and team. You can turn this space truly into everything so RUN to their calendar and book your next event. We cannot stop reliving our big day and feel so grateful for A Simple Affair and their team making our wedding so memorable. This is such a great venue for an intimate gathering. My husband and I attended a morning wedding followed by a cocktail reception. The space was divided in two by curtains. Upon entering the venue we were greeted with a champagne display and wedding programs. We quickly found seats and started mingling with other guests as we waited for the ceremony to begin. Once the ceremony was finished the curtains opened and we were guided to the other side which had cocktail tables and lounge seating. Each of the vendors were awesome, as well as the live musician who was singing all the best hits (R&B love songs). It was such a beautiful event for an incredible couple. My husband and I had a great time and made some new friends. Oh and I must say the temperature in the building was very comfortable. I was concerned that it might be stuffy or a bit warm but the AC works perfectly in this building which I was super grateful for! read more

I am beyond pleased with the A-1 service I received from the Simple Affair team! Jess and Dahnia were very kind, accommodating, considerate, and thoughtful. The level of communication and follow up is the best I've experienced from a business in years! I know this is a thriving business but I felt like the only customer they had through the whole year it took to plan this event. One experience I'd like to mention is when my daughter and I came for our final walk-through on November 18th. It started to rain quite heavily and Dahnia reached out to ask if we'd like to zoom instead of coming in person. That was really considerate and demonstrated the commitment the team has to seeing the customer as a person and not just a transaction. Once we arrived there, the team was setting up for a wedding and as every business should, we were greeted immediately with a warm smile and great eye contact by a gentleman with dark hair who was setting up the buffet. He said someone will be with us shortly. That may not seem like a big deal but a lot of businesses have lost this simple act of acknowledging the customer. We met with Dahnia for our final walk-though and she made this important final step feel like we were talking to a good friend who wanted our event to be as successful as we wanted it to be. Thank you so much Dahnia for your patience and energy which made us feel reassured and confident with the final details! The day of our event could have been more perfect!! Deshone and Lindsay were so lovely and kind! My daughter, who was in charge of setting up the projector, commented on how Deshone had such a calming affect as she assisted her during the process. I also appreciated the assistance she provided when the selfi-booth vendor I hired didn't show. Deshone took it upon herself to reach out to the point of contact for that business to find out what was going on. She didn't have to seeing as how one of my event coordinators was also handling the situation. But again, this team so gets it! Always thinking, how can we help, how can we support. Hands down, Simple Affair will always be my go to venue for special events. After looking for weeks to find something with the ambiance and capacity desired for my daughter's wedding reception, I hit the sweet spot with this business. I am disappointed to not be putting 5 stars on the place my wedding took place. The venue was beautiful and the experience with my family and friends were the best part. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the staff that was working on March 20th 2025. When my vendors were arriving they noticed a verbal argument in the kitchen with the venue staff my coordinator had to tell them to stop yelling so loudly because people were arriving. This was very unprofessional especially in the place of work you are at. The problems didn't end there unfortunately, during the dinner I was asked by one of the guest if they could have more food because come to find out the staff was serving less of the amount I had already specified twice with the lady who helped us book the venue. By the end of the night I have multiple trays of food left over because the staff decided they had their own plans and were undeserving my guest and it was just a mess. Unfortunately the problems still don't end there, some time during photos with guest one of the staff members spilled water all over my MC and broke the glass cup she was carrying on the tray. My MC tried picking up the glass pieces since it seemed she was already having a hard time and she still had the audacity to raise her voice at him and tell him not to help her or touch anything. Unfortunately the staff here can either make or break your wedding I will not recommend any one of my friends who are soon to get married this year this place unless they hire different staff. Because the lady that was there also in charge of the staff didn't do a damn thing to control her people. Super unprofessional and rude, don't bring your problems into a wedding please! read more

Just got married here on June 1st and booked my wedding back in December. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for Maddy for helping me coordinate the whole thing and for answering every single one of my questions promptly. The main thing I LOVED about A Simple Affair is how flexible they are about vendors, and decor and no one should take this for granted!! When planning my wedding I came across so many venues that charged an arm & a leg just to let you bring your own vendors and decor. When I came across this venue I was sold just based off of that despite the bad reviews. I truly think the bad reviews are all misunderstandings because the staff here was all so friendly and open. My favorite thing about the venue was the aesthetic and bridal suite because it looked so beautiful in pictures. On the day of my wedding, Lindsay and Julia were there to help everything go smoothly. They were very friendly to everyone and even helped clean the whole time which I appreciated. The only negative thing I will say (as more of an FYI to everyone booking) is that I paid for open bar but had no idea guests were not allowed to order shots at the bar-just cocktails. I am a bartender myself and have never heard of this being a thing. However, it wasn't the biggest deal and Everyone still had a great time. I just wish I would have known that part in advance. A Simple Affair is a rare venue and hard to find in Las Vegas. It was our first and only option for our wedding. We knew as soon as we walked in. I chose an all inclusive package while also being a DIY bride. Maddy was super helpful with my overload of questions. Between text messages and emails, someone was always there to help. Their vendors were top notch. The service was above and beyond. My guests are still raving about the tacos, the photo booth, our amazing photographer and our wonderful officiant. I attended my cousin's wedding at this venue, and as a guest I was impressed with the whole setup and experience. From the simple yet elegant decor to the string lights draped on the ceiling, everything was beautiful. The space for the actual wedding was quickly transformed into the reception hall after the ceremony (with a 10-minute wait outside). Yes it was a cold winter evening, but it was great to catch up with friends and family during the wait. Open bar at the reception included a good range of beer, wine, spirits, and sodas. And we made sure to take advantage the entire night. The DJ and emcee seemed to have multiple roles, directing guests on where to go and what to do throughout the afternoon and evening. And he was energetic and humorous and entertaining from the beginning all the way until the very end. He seemed to be doing almost everything, except officiating the wedding ceremony. He sounded like an auctioneer at some points. He was organized and did his job well, and seemed to be enjoying his time and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. As a guest attending an event here, I think they deserve 5 stars. Yes it doesn't look like much from the outside, as it's in a strip mall, but it's what's on the inside that counts. My daughter lives in Ohio and she was looking for an "all inclusive" wedding venue. Since she was in Ohio, her dad and I drove out to look at venues with my daughter joining on FaceTime. We looked at a couple of traditional wedding venues. My daughter didn't want the traditional golf course banquet wedding. We almost didn't keep our Simple Affair appointment because of the location in a strip mall. But we are glad we did! After the appointment, we were impressed with the package choices and the informative planners that they had helping us. My daughter decided to go ahead and book. Fast forward to last Friday. We drove in from San Diego and my daughter and her fiancé flew in from Ohio. We showed up at 2:00 for the 4:30 wedding. They were decorating as per my daughter's wishes and setting up absolutely everything. In the package, she chose the open bar, photo booth, Pink Box donuts, catered dinner by Platinum Catering, DJ, all the decorations, tables, chairs, dinnerware...almost everything! I was so impressed with the decor, lighting, service, and our contact/host Melody. She was so helpful and nice. The catered dinner provided by Platinum Catering was delicious. They were easy to work with in choosing the entrees. The DJ Anthony was awesome! He did a great job getting people out on the dance floor. I would totally recommend him 100%. Cleanup was also all A Simple Affair. We literally did not have to lift a finger. As for the strip mall location, when you're inside, you can't even tell that you're in a strip mall. They have some nice big barn doors inside covering up the windows. This is a great location for any event where you just want to enjoy the celebration. OMG what a cute little space. Very romantic & elegant with the hanging lights on the ceiling. I was in here the other day for A Simple Affair event. A co-worker was there selling her hand made tie dye products & I wanted to go & support her. I actually had trouble finding this place. GPS took me in the right plaza but I drove by it as I didn't see the sign that was hard to see from the parking lot. I had to call my friend & find out what she was next to. She told me The Cracked egg. I had seen that restaurant so I turned back around & found this place. I actually took some pictures of the outside & posted on here to make it easier for others to find this cute little gem. If I was to get married I would definitely look into this place as I checked out the photos here on Yelp of other's wedding photo's taken here. They have a male & female bathroom. Female bathroom has a changing table inside. There is also a room that looks like its a place to change & hang out. Bride & bridal party is my guess. There were other vendors @ A Simple Affair. Maybe no more than 20 tables set up. I'm sure you could probably rent this cute place out for any legal event. Definitely worth checking into. read more

We just had my daughter's quince here and from beginning planning to the end of the event the staff at a Simple Affair were professional, enthusiastic, and on top of everything! The event space is beautiful. It has a rustic vibe but still worked very well with my daughter's "awards night" theme. The staff that helped plan the event were knowledgeable about event planning and gave us lots of ideas without feeling like they were pushy or trying to upsell. The staff day of were so incredibly helpful and gracious, even when my mind was in a million places setting up our personal decorations. They even gave us a thank you card at the end of the night! We got married at A Simple Affair last week and could not have been happier with the experience. It was beautiful, smooth, and our every need and expectation were surpassed. We decided on this venue at our very first tour, as we were impressed by how beautiful the space is. It is also a very versatile space- the way the curtains are arranged to give you multiple spaces that transform into an event hall by the end of the night is fantastic! I was a type A bride in every sense of the word. No question was too detailed for ASA staff to enter within one business day, for an entire year, without fail. They even offered to measure the aisle for me so I could time the processional. It was so "me" I even included that in my vows! The vendors were top knotch. We had the taco dinner, and the bussing/table staff made sure my husband and I had full plates the second we sat down, but multiple people have told me the buffet servers were excellent. The food was delicious! For the second add-on we went with DJ Tony. Any fellow kid who grew up in the older Henderson area went to public school dances knows that we essentially had a local celebrity as our DJ. I'm pleased to report he translates just as well over to adult parties! He MC'd the reception perfectly based on my detailed timeline which A Simple Affair had shared with him after our final walkthrough. I had provided a pretty detailed playlist, and he crushed it with his own personality mixed in as well!!! Our package was completely customizable and A Simple Affair was willing to work with us for taking off decor as I wanted to do my own, and switching head counts around as RSVPs came flooding in before the final walk through. We had the open bar, and our bartender was incredible!! She was there early to set up and even helped fluff my veil and train right before I walked down, and she had our drinks waiting in her hands as we walked back up! She was fast, accommodating and funny and everyone had their drink in their hand all night. In some of the more negative reviews I see a lot about the alcohol rules, noise, and the day-of coordinators. There are signs clearly posted for no outside alcohol on the doors (outside) so it's clear for your guests. We also made sure to include that on our RSVP page of our website and in a reminder message a week before we sent through the Knot. The bar was so delicious and fast that there was no need anyway! The noise levels were great to me, as I said everyone was dancing all night but I also didn't have to scream to say goodbye to guests as they left. Our day-of coordinators were fabulous and even had some of my emails printed out for reference. We asked a close family friend to be our "wrangler", someone who has the timeline down and we introduced her to the ASA staff upon her arrival so she could be our point of contact. That worked out fabulously and I would recommend it for every bride. But, all I personally heard from the venue staff was if I needed anything, that I looked beautiful, and answering any technical questions I had. Our wrangler says they were lovely and accommodating as well! To conclude, BOOK HERE! We had a 10/10 experience from start to finish and they made our day so magical. Photos to come!!! read more

Thank god we didn't have our special day with this company!! Upon looking for venues for my wedding, I came across A Simple Affair back in later 2018. When I first contacted them, it was very hard to get ahold of them to even express any interest. We finally managed to go to an open house and express our interest and decided to book our wedding for June 2020 in October of 2019. It all started with Cori... she was the most positive experience I have had with A Simple Affair. She was so sweet, kind, knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding and gave me all the options to make that happen! She is the only reason why I'm giving this review a 1 star! The interior is nice and rustic. The space is okay for the price you're paying for and you can bring your own vendors and caterers in with the right licensing. Through payments and months passing by we were so excited to finally have our dream wedding come true! Two weeks before our state was ordered to quarantine, we took a tour to show my in-laws and my man of honor the venue. We expressed our worries about COVID-19 affecting our wedding date and they said not to worry and that they plan on staying open as long as they can. The moment I lost my job and couldn't help pay for our venue, we had to postpone our wedding date and event without any choice. We understand that everyone is affected by COVID-19, even businesses, too. We wanted to cancel our event and they wanted to refund us based on our original date, which would have been next month. We were told we'd only get a portion of the money we've put into the contract when A Simple Affair couldn't even commit to the event they said they'd still make happen, no matter what circumstances. The kicker here is they had an Instagram contest for a chance to win the venue at no cost! Their posts were not clear on their terms & conditions and upon emailing them back and forth about the rules, it seems as though they were making up the rules as they went. That interaction alone showed how they didn't even have a proper policy for times when they cannot fulfill an event. Lack of integrity in a business is not good. Luckily, I was able to find a better suited venue! And to compare interactions thus far, you're better off looking elsewhere if you really care about your special day! You get more bang of your buck going elsewhere, as the venue is fairly small. I am honestly grateful we weren't spending our special day with Simple Affair. read more
