Good amount of blind bags, tons of Funko pops (they have a lot of the anime ones) but their lenticular stickers really got me. May wanna avoid if you don't want spoilers. Let me start this off with saying they had exactly what I was looking for. I asked the employee how much it was as they had the price covered with a colored sticker with no sign speaking of a color code. A male employee turned on me and demanded I put a mask on (Brea Mall does not require vaccinated individuals to wear a mask). His rude attitude made me put my item down and leave. Which is fine because the store right next to them had my exact item for HALF THE COST. $50.00 for a small stuffed animal? Yeah. No thanks. read more

Always has the best collection of Funkos I've seen from any store. Their 5/10$ door buster deals are insane and the 3 for 35$ deal from the wall is the best they keep a very healthy stock always. The workers are also very helpful and knowledgeable on all the Funkos. read more

Chrono Toys on the inside looks very nice. They have lot of items and lots of Pop! figures. However, the clerk kept trying to rush me when I was looking around. He kept asking if I was looking for something particular and shoving items in my face to see if I liked them. I think he was just trying to be nice, but it didn't come off that way. I guess I haven't been to the brea mall in a while because I didn't know this store was open, but I am glad I went today and stopped in! The selection is huge, I am not a serious funko collector but I am always on the lookout for ones that I really like to add to my modest collection of a dozen or so. The employee behind the counter was super patient with me and helped me out with a bunch of the Office limited funko pops. Ultimately I decided on prison Mike and Jim as Dwight after much deliberation. I want to say I'll come back again soon but if I do I'm probably just going to have no self control and buy all of the office pops! Definitely worth a visit if you are even just a casual collector. Their prices compared to online (especially for the more rare/collectible items) are very fair. read more

This review is really for the employee and not the store itself. On 2/19/23, I walked in looking for some potential gifts for people in my circle just because. While I was browsing, I made a comment about how the holographic stickers were low quality from previous experience. I bought some stickers from the Orange location and they didn't hold up after a week. Maybe I got some defective ones. Nonetheless, an employee heard me and said something to the degree of, "it only looks like that but there's still a film on top." That's fine, I reiterated and said I had a bad experience with them last time I bought them. She stayed quiet. She ended walking away to help the register while I browsed the stickers some more. Once I was finished I waited to pay. Ironically this same employee, (didn't get her name) completely changed her demeanor with me as opposed with previous customers. So I felt bad about the comment I made and asked where do they get the stickers made from. Did they have a vendor or were they mass produced? I simply wanted to know so I could reach out and support and perhaps give constructive feedback regarding the stickers considering they're not the cheapest option out there. She didn't know. I then asked if they were weather proof. Again, she didn't know. While I tried to make conversation, she acted as if I insulted personally. Lastly, I asked who I could reach out to so I could buy stickers directly in large quantities. Here's a shocker, she didn't know. So at the end of the day, was this a big deal? Not really. But given the fact that I spent over 100 bucks in stickers for you act like a weirdo is kind of silly and obnoxious, especially when you couldn't answer simple questions or at least make the effort to try to find a solution. I like this store but won't be coming back to this location because of the customer service. P.S. after doing a little bit of searching of my own, the maker of the stickers is on IG @sitzumi. Please support them directly. They have a lot of more options than the retail store. read more

So funko has become a pretty big deal over the years. These plastic bobbling heavy headed heroes, athletes, music stars, Hollywood elite 3" figures have somehow endured were other collectibles have not. I was thinking at one time these things were a shot in the dark and would be a quick fad like beanie babies. No, so far I have been wrong about that. Of course the bobble head figure has been around since the late 1700s early 1800s as a German toy that was evolved through the idea of the Japanese and Chinese string dolls. The early bobble heads were made of paper mache and then later on made into ceramic and were called Nodders. Wish I could say I knew all this, but I don't I got this info from an article I read on popculturespot.com on the history of the Bobble Head. super interesting article. So, anyway, onto my review. Listen, just like any collectible, you should really do some research and find out about what you are buying and collecting. Other wise you could be taken for a ride. The store has so many different types of pops it's crazy. Stuff I have never seen and stuff I wouldn't even think they would make a pop of. Customer service was nice, however remember you are dealing with sales person here. The pops I bought were all in the price range of 35-45 dollars a piece. Only to find out I could get them somewhere a lot cheaper in the 15-20 range. They talk you up and tell you how it's the price it is because it could reach a total of 200 to 300 dollars in the future. Again as I said before, know what you are buying and collecting. What you buy here is at your own discretion not the sales person who is just doing their job. The sales person I dealt with, was really good at their sales and had me believing I was buying the world not the moon. What I bought was under my own discretion no one else. Don't be like me and be afraid of being rude by looking at your phone to check prices other wise I would have never bought the pops I got. Listen its amazing how many styles and how many different pops they have which makes it worth checking out. Just be ready to know what you are doing and what you are buying. I was one of the kids who we're collecting baseball cards like crazy at the end of the 80s and 90s just ask me how that future endeavor panned out. read more
