The reviews are outdated. Chuck is very much present. Anna at the front desk is fantastic. This place is hoppin. They do great work. I went in with my best friend for a consultation and we both left with hair systems and are members. The hair is top quality from Italy. Chuck has a vision and takes his time with new clients to really understand what you want and offers the best solutions. When I go back for my maintenance every two weeks I always see folks with malignant disease here with thinning or no hair, who have been struggling with their self esteem and image, and they are always so grateful when they leave and they look amazing. Don't listen to the bad ratings. People get mad over silly things and probably feel entitled for some reason. Chuck is the man and lesia at the front is very nice and helpful. I'd travel here for my systems even if I lived out of state. Yes, they are very busy because they do good work and people love it here. I can't wait to sit down & take the time to write an actual review of this company. They are complete scam artists. Go somewhere else. They are nothing special. They have been wasting my time since October 2022 as I try to get them to simply refund my money because they wouldn't install the extensions THEY HAVE THAT I PAID FOR- close to $1300. They lied to my bank saying that I came in & "picked them up." They wrote on a receipt that I did, as well, which is NOT something I signed, that they also submitted to my bank. They also told my bank that at the last minute, I canceled an appointment (an appointment I didn't yet schedule & definitely didn't confirm. Therefore, there was nothing to cancel), which is a lie. I simply asked for a refund if they didn't want to install the hair at the previously agreed upon price (where my receipt says "paid in full"). According to their attorney, David Lazarus of Fromberg, Perlow & Kornik, P.A. in Aventura, they won't refund my money after refusing to install the extensions unless I remove every review & rebuke all of the reports I filed (Broward police, Consumer Protect Bureau, BBB, reportfraud.gov, just to name a few). I didn't do any reviews & didn't file any reports until AFTER they lied to my bank to get to keep my money, knowing they didn't provide the service or give me the product. What did they expect me to do? They had every opportunity to refund MY money, & they won't. In fact, they apparently think this is hilarious because the last time I spoke to them, they laughed & hung up on me, BUT BEFORE they did, they said, "ha-ha, we'll just sell your extensions to someone else" so basically, they aren't refunding me because they want to double dip. Their attorney has also claimed that I "haven't been hurt by this," his words verbatim. I'm here to remind him & anyone that reads this that in addition to being financially hurt by this, I have also lost sleep & been forced to talk about my hair loss, which in and of itself is already stressful, with a complete stranger (the attorney). ALL I WANTED WAS A REFUND, which would mean they don't get paid for doing nothing, & I don't pay for getting nothing. It would be a win for everyone, but no, they are determined to scam anyone they can. I don't feel it's my job to help protect their online reputation, as they have given me nothing for my money but lie after lie (even to their attorney until I prove them wrong each time), & excuse after excuse. How about don't give people a reason to write a bad review, & they won't? They should try it sometime. read more

Chuck Alfieri has not been present for months and does not return calls nor E messages. Eunike is and has been the contact person there who's operating the business. My hair system cost $500. and is my property. I'm also in communication with another client who's also been a client for years. He is also experiencing the same neglect and poor business ethic. I don't even feel that they are worth a half a star. For starters I was lied to. When the owner tells you that the color is included that means you should not be charged additionally. WRONG HERE. Also my hair was 3 differnt colors. So much for professionalism. I had color covering my face when I left and Brenda even said how horrible it looked. I also had to dispose of my shirt when I got home because the color was down my back and completely stained my shirt. Then when I went back for the extensions after sending an email about my horrendous experience, I was told that chuck was so upset and wanted to meet with me WRONG AGAIN. His daughter greeted me and told me yeah I know you had an issue. She applied the extensions to my hair which everyone commented that they were a totally different color. No one offered any discount. Chuck never showed. Shady salon. I went to an awesome salon. Erik Alan Davis who corrected the rainbow in my hair and told me how bad they damaged my hair. He is assisting with repairing it for me. So I arrived early and am now 10 minutes past my appointment time and no one is even remotely letting me know when I will be taken in. So I'm sitting here with nothing to do and can't help but notice things also because I'm basically sitting in a tiny reception area and can't avoid it. So there is a man hanging around the reception flirting with the receptionist like over the top with every comment she makes... Like when she offers him a "quick appt" he replies : "I could use a quickie right now" and then propositioning her to cut his hair privately, which she giggles and dodges by saying she doesn't cut hair-and they lower their voices so I can't hear because I'm the only one sitting here and I can't help feeling they are utterly rude - as he says he would rather pay her than the salon. Really? I haven't even gone in and I feel I should probably walk out. So I told her "not only am I 15 minutes past my appt time I'm having to endure him hitting on you" she didn't even apologize for their rudeness. It seems like a professional salon but honestly it's hard to feel that now. Especially after now 25 minutes my hairdresser comes out for who knows what reason - maybe because I stood up and a man saw me send him an imploring inquisitive shrug- and she unapologetically says she "should be another 10 minutes" and then it's like oh sorry can't help you but that's it. Flippantly she turns and goes back to her customer even when I ask to have someone else do my hair no one is available at all... The receptionist appears again 30 minutes and says "want some water?" I tell her that I want to leave as they have all made me feel utterly uncomfortable. I'm out of here. read more

Extremely unprofessional staff. They do not understand the value of customer service. A sketchy family business at best, the schedule is "constantly" booked with appointments, the prices fluctuate on a day-to-day, person-to-person basis. Seldom do they respond to customer concerns; they are inflexible with any circumstances and do not return phone calls. Hair shipment takes weeks and weeks when it can easily be sent overnight. Many choose this salon to combat psychological and medical hair issues. Chuck (who rarely ever appears in the salon after the expensive deposit is made) is quite the manipulative salesman, to say the least. After an extremely frustrating few months as a client of this salon- I even threatened to get lawyers involved- I sought help elsewhere. Other extension salon stylists (and believe me, there are many others from which to choose) were absolutely horrified by the experience that I reported. Chuck Alfieri refused to give me credit, discounted service, refunds, anything; they literally took my money and did not address any concerns that I had shortly after. I have been going to Chuck for 5 years. I spend six days a week for hours either in the ocean or pool. Since I am exposed so much to the sun, I' am examined by a Dermatologist twice a year. The last time I went in for a check up the nurse couldn't believe I had to "remove my hair", so that my scalp could be examined. She even wanted to touch my hair and run her fingers through it! Yesterday was my first time in Chuck Alfieri Salon. I always had very fine, frizzy and not so much hair, so I wanted to try with extensions. I was so scared but after an hour I felt very comfortable seeing that Eunike is very professional and detailed oriented about her knowledge in hair extension application and also made those 6 hours very enjoyable with her attention and nice conversation, then Gabriel trimmed my hair beautifully he was and I want to say that I arrived with very short hair and bored that I was not able to play with styles and left feeling happy and with a hair length that i did not have since my early twenties. Had some issues with the placement of the wig (it was really bothering me and was not at all comfortable) and was having second thoughts about my decision to spend so much money on this solution. When I called to make a quick appointment they were very accommodating and fit me in quickly. Both Chuck and my stylist Nicole were there and spent a great deal of time working with me to make the necessary adjustments and wash/restyle the hair. I immediately felt better, the wig is now comfortable and I no longer feel like I have a helmet glued to my head! When I was ready to leave I was told there was no charge for that service. The color of the wig is perfect. I'm still a little concerned about the layers as I wanted a more blunt cut but I feel certain that they will do what is necessary to make the "hair issues" experienced during cancer treatments as pleasant and perfect as possible. I research many many options before making this decision and I feel it was the right decision for me. It's a long drive from Miami Beach to North Ft. Lauderdale, but well worth the trip. I was seen at Chuck Alfieri last week as I am being treated for cancer. The medication was causing hair loss and it was important to me both personally and professionally to maintain my normal look. The first visit I was measured and Chuck clearly explained the process to me. Before I had even lost my hair, I was in his chair for my second appointment. He was skilled, knowledgeable, easy going and really made a difficult situation simple. By the time I left, I looked exactly as I did prior to my hair falling out. No one has noticed and the best part is that I need do nothing with the piece until I return for a two week visit. It stays in 24 hours a day and looks so lifelike that none of my clients have said anything. This certainly makes treatment for cancer less obtrusive. Chuck is caring, kind and really wants his clients to feel special. I would recommend his services for anyone undergoing treatments where hair loss could be an issue. read more
