Took my four year old son here and had a pretty solid experience overall. Let me start by saying I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in like 25 years .. so I didn't know (remember) how everything works in terms of pricing and well what to expect overall. Had a somewhat awkward interaction when I walked in and a staff member proceeded to explain that I needed to take a selfie w my son on my cell phone before I could go in .. maybe it was the noise combined w the fact they were talking softly I dunno but I'm sure they got annoyed w me because I didn't understand what they were talking about lol .. my wife later told me they do that in order to check that when I leave that I'm leaving w my actual kid but well no one was there to check when I left and we just walked out the door soooo.... Yeah to that So I used a coupon I found on their website (there's a lot I recommend checking it before going) for one hour free play for $20 ... this allowed free play for all arcades w the exception of a small trampoline spot which apparently was an extra fee per the same girl that made me take the selfie ... I thought that was kind of lame but whatever The arcades are fine and there's two floors so there's a decent amount .. I think for $20 for the hour it was alright enough but maybe on the high side (mind you I used a coupon so I'd say the regular $32 or so would've been too overpriced). I think I'm personally used to "old school" arcades w game cabinets stacked next to each other vs the spaced out "newer" type of games combined with the "ticket earning" games they have here. I would personally would rather go to local spots like Marcade or Morristown Vault and pay half the price per hour or the cost of the one hour here vs a day pass at one of those spots, but my son is young enough that he'd appreciate these type of games more so than those places and for what it is it's fine Anyways we ordered a pizza for lunch and ran into a bit of an issue that was resolved impressively by their staff. I used the QR code advertised on their tables to order a medium stuffed crust pizza .. a regular medium pizza without the stuffed crust is around $18 and the stuffed crust is $21 (! - yes the pizza I bought cost a little more than the free play hour .. crazy I know) .. well apparently the order got confused at the counter and they prepped a regular pizza not the stuffed crust .. they offered to make a new stuffed crust pizza but I know my son was hungry and wouldn't want to wait so I said I would take the one they prepped no big deal I know accidents and mistakes happen .. well about 10 mins later the front desk employee came up to us and basically said that it was their mistake and offered to make the stuffed crust pizza and give it to us on the house which we accepted (props to this gentleman and management to make it a point to make the situation right - excellent customer service and I would honestly come back just for this interaction alone) Long review I know but all in all a solid experience and I'll most likely be back in the near future! read more

It was good . Kids loved it. The trampoline was good with extra fees. We booked the mega package which included pizza and then we added food acc to our preference . The ticket blaster was fun! Service was good! Ambiance was good! Except a few employees at reception who weren't that welcoming and rude. They even dint give me the tote bag that was included. We had her son's birthday party here and I never been there before. We greeted in usual fashion. The ground floor was filled with arcades and then a jamboree that could be access for an extra $10 a child. We had a party of 30 children in 28 adults. Our order prior to the party as we were called the evening before it did not match the order that was delivered to the table for the adults. The settings were missing novelty cups, as well as plates. The most important thing I will mention is that there was a staircase with no sign that led to upstairs where there was a whole floor games. This was never mentioned by the staff when we were checking in and our server. We spent the two hours of our party limited to the only the first floor when there was a whole floor of additional games upstairs, which we did not know about. When the server asked us that in order to be informed about the games upstairs, we usually ask, however if we've never been there before how we supposed to ask, what's upstairs. This information should've been relate to us at the beginning of the party so we could give the children an ample opportunity to explore both levels of the venue. The manager rarely checked over on the table once. additionally, we were offered medium large and extra large pizzas so we chose extra large pizzas they said came with 16 slices. However, these slices were the same size as a medium pizza from a regular pizzeria cut into half slices to make 16 slices. Certainly not a regular size pizza for an adult. read more

This place is terrible by all accounts. Went for a birthday party. There is nothing for kids to do here other than play video games on the arcade. They charged an extra $8 to use the tiny trampoline pad. The "food" was also terrible - obviously frozen pizza they just throw in the oven. The staff is totally apathetic and stoic to anything, nobody tries to engage the kids. As a cherry on the we all got the Noro virus the next day and spent the next 24 hours puking. Really wish I had skipped this one. If you are thinking about doing a party here: just don't - it will not help your social status amongst your friends. Renovations & new management= a better experience! Although they still have a very long way to go, this location is much better than it was! There are two levels of games for kids of all ages to enjoy! You can load up your play card by minutes or coins. There are no more physical tickets! All tickets will be electronically loaded onto your play card and can be used to redeem to prizes. The pizza and wings here were better than expected. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. The buzzer will alert you when your order is ready and you have to go to the back to pick it up yourself. There's an open salad bar but I wouldn't suggest eating from it. This place can get crazy! It has always been and will always be a germ fest going on so be prepared. Sadly they were severely understaffed so the wait time for everything was triple! The young man checking families in and out was also helping run the counter so they door was left unsupervised most of the time. They stamp you & your child's hands when you arrive, and are supposed to check your stamp before exiting for safety reasons. Unfortunately that was not happening. read more

I've come weekly to this Chuck E. Cheese location for almost 2 years now and I have to say that overall I have a pretty good experience with cleanliness and customer service. I highly recommend the fun pass. Makes it worth it. Most staff is friendly and helpful when I have had an issue with games. Most games are fixed within a 2 week range so that's a bonus. Videos and music changes seasonally as well. And it's always a party fun time at this location with parties almost every weekend. Only issue is that occasionally the temperature is off (AC isn't working or heater isn't working) but overall this location is where a kid can be a kid! read more

Some games were not working and didn't have a sign on it. 20 mins til closing and the employee asked us if we're leaving soon because it's closing soon- as my kids were actively playing. Didn't know these place still existed. Let alone knew they were still this much fun!! You won't see employees cleaning machinery as expected coming out of a pandemic era. Nor was there sufficient ice cream to chose from as most was out of stock. You find a bunch of games tailored for all ages. Games are located within the use of 2 floors. I personally recommend the first floor tailored to you get kids and the second floor to older kids. Birthday parties are thrown within other parties. There is no private rooms. You do get to reserve tables. Children get a party cup, pizza and unlimited access based on the package picked. Chuckie Cheese himself does come out every so often to sing and dance. Kids enjoyed it. This place still exists somehow. All those other food and game places seem to have shut down. Chucky keeps on kicking... everyone's butt. They seem to have updated the games into the new century. However many of the games still appear to be of the last era. The kids still love it and have a blast running around and playing cruising USA or whatever version they have now. Chuck E cheese pizza is still Chuck E cheese pizza. Decent quality, nothing I would come running in for. They do have the salad bar option as well as candy options including cotton candy. They've moved their tickets to card form to make it easier for kids to keep track of. And easier to count at the end of the day. The toy prizes are always hit or miss under 20 but they get pretty good once you get over a hundred tickets. read more

The kids really enjoy this establishment. The only downfall is that it is 2 levels so it's hard to manage both kids when one wants to be upstairs and the other wants to be downstairs. On Saturday 9/8/24 I took my 5 year old to the East Hanover location. Well I can honestly say that I will NEVER go back there. The staff and manager were soo unbelievably rude. When I called out how rude the staff member was to me the manager took her side and canceled my purchase for a lollipop for my son. who Does that. The entire staff were completely racist and made it very obvious that they were. I cannot believe that they made a 5 year old cry and think it's ok. I have been going there for years with my nieces and nephews and I will say that the location has gone to crap. I will tell my entire family and all my friends how badly I was treated and I will continue to put bad reviews on every website possible. This is a total disgrace. I work as a doordasher, came in and greeted the lady at the counter with a hello and a smile. Then I stated on the Saturday night at 830 who I was picking up for. As independent drivers trying to earn a living on a peak night we require honesty and cooperation from the stores we operate from. This young lady did nothing of the sort, although she said it would be only five minutes and I should wait in my car for her to bring it to me. Wow, what a crazy time, popped in here for a birthday and waited in the line for the cashier for ten minutes for them to figure out where everyone was going. Two floors of games + seating, with the main floor with the ticket blaster and the stage. It's sticky on the floor and games, and quite a few were fixed ticket payouts (not like other Chuck E Cheeses where skill comes more into play); on the bright side when the ticket counting machine malfunctioned, they trued-up the ticket count and gave us a courtesy set of tickets. BBQ wings weren't bad, actually. Parking lot a little crazy, though - be careful, parents not paying attention almost hit us walking out to my car. Fun for little ones in the party, for the adults we were exhausted... but on the bright side, no one cars if it's all crazy and screaming. read more

This is one of my favorite Chuck-E-Cheese because even though it's not perfect it is the cleanest and their games usually work. I love the fact that it's two level and that they have a camera to see the upstairs if you're downstairs. I am only rating this place five stars so it shows up. I brought my little gorls here. (ages 6-47) and they all happen to be furries. The other children were very disturbed my my gorls and started treating them like animals. There are two floors of games, and of course there is a stage filled with creepy robots of Chuck E. And his friends. When I was a child, I was coming down the tube slide at one of these places . Anyone who has a kid knows Chuck E Cheese's. If you have not been here in a while it is worth going to. A few years back I remember going here and everything was old and many of the games where broken. All that has changed! They added a second floor that has games for larger kids (and adults) and cleaned the place up. All the games seem to work and the biggest thing it is all 1 token. That's right 1 token. You can play for hours on $10. We don't eat here besides a drink while the kid plays so I can not comment much on the food. I have been here for parties and the kids all enjoy it.. There are times that they are busy like the weekends. If you don't like crowds get there early (They open at 9am). Even when they are busy most of the kids are for parties. The staff does a good job spacing out the parties and when they go to eat things free up. The other thing they do is when a child enters into the building they stamp the child's hand and the parents hand with a special ink, When you leave they make sure the kid matches the parent. This Chuck E Cheese is the Disney World of birthday party destinations! My 4-year-old wanted a party at Chuck E Cheese based on all of the TV commercials she saw on Nick Jr. We'd never been to one of these places for any reason, so we were hesitant. But she was insistent. So we did it, and I am so happy we did! We hosted a party here for 22 kids and 30 adults. The kids and parents had a great time. The staff was very friendly, the food was great, and all of the games were clean and in working order. It was such a great party for everyone that a parent later posted an Instagram of her and her daughter from my daughter's Chuck E Cheese party. I think we were all surprised at how great of an experience it was. How I did it: I called Chuck E Cheese in advance. They guided me through the whole process. And the party went exactly as planned. It was from 10-noon, perfect for little kids who needed a nap later. The provided everything -- party decorations, cups, plates, and enough tokens for every child to have a blast. I went here for a kids birthday party and I joked before going that I would probably get sick from the place. Guess where I am writing this review from? The parking lot of the doctors office because I have a fever. I knew I was in trouble the second we pulled into the parking lot which was littered with refuse. I didn't see a single employee cleaning anything the entire time I was there but that was probably because they were to busy snap chatting. Oh and all the posts about the machines not working and not having tickets couldn't be more accurate. This Chuck E Cheese is good because it has two floors and it may look small on the first floor, but it's big on the second floor. And they have Munich's Make-Believe Band animatronics. The bathrooms are a little dirty, but the place itself is awesome. The speakers for the band are very loud, which is good because you can hear them over all the noise of the games. And the speakers are under the curtains on the stage, even though no curtains come down. The band sign is behind Pasqually the drummer. His mouth movements were a little broken, and the black felt in Chuck's mouth was coming up, and the flipper for Helen's mouth was sticking out a little, but other than that the animatronics were in good shape. The employees are nice. For example, one of the games wasn't spitting out tickets so the employee opened the game and gave them to me. It can be very crowded but there is a lot of eating space. It was organized and you can hear the band upstairs. So, this Chuck E. Cheese's is definitely worth going to. And I'm definitely excited to go back! -- Felix age 9 read more
