I'm extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with the lack of care and support that I received while visiting Chuck E Cheese on May 29, 2926, in Manchester. While visiting my son scanned his card 23 times for one game. He had no idea that he had done this. When I spoke with the manger and asked if there was anything that could be done - the answer was no. You played the game. In fact there were many time he didn't not play. he had no idea what he had done. We came here for his birthday. It was supposed to be a special day and instead, it was disappointing at best. He used 1/4 of his tickets in 2 mins bc at the age of 6 he didn't understand what he was doing. I get it - the business needs to make a profit - but really? None of the 23 credits could be reimbursed? That seems silly, Needless to say I don't see us returning to Manchester Chuck E Cheese anytime soon. Additionally I will advising others to stay away as well. It is too bad, bc overall the stuffed crust pizza isn't terrible, and my son truly enjoys his time there. However, I can't support a business that lacks the empathy and compassion to help fix the mistake of just turned 6 year old, on his birthday. read more

Been going here since I was little and always loved the pizza. Sadly last time I brought my son, our pizza was so much flatter than the pizza next to ours despite ordering the same as that other person. I was in a rush so I just took it but was pretty bummed since its pricy pizza. I wish I could have said something though. I've had many other great visits to this location. My son had his birthday here and it went great. He is in love with the new trampoline!! And I just love that there's things for smaller kids to do. He never wants to leave ! This place is very expensive compared to what it used to be. We went during the day so it wasn't as terrible with people. There are not a lot of people working there so the service isn't great because you have to wait for a lot of time however that's the world we live in today. The pizza is almost 40 dollars and it wasn't terrible but I definitely wouldn't think it's worth that even with the four drinks. The games are fun but they aren't that great. The prizes have been the same prizes for decades now. Overall it was a nice experience but not that great. read more

Family and I went here today.. love how this place is a LOT BIGGER than it looks outside. Place is pretty clean, plenty of tables and space for everyone! Back room is mainly for toddlers which I love. Birthday Party area is huge! A lot bigger than most Chuck E Cheese's. Had 2 large pepperoni stuffed crusted pizzas which was yummy. I'm from Vermont, but we were visiting family in Sanbornton so we decided to make the trip to Manchester to check out Chuck E. Cheese. My four year old has been seeing commercials on tv for it and has been begging to go. None of us have ever been to a Chuck E. Cheese. What I liked: I love the black light stamp that ensures your child can't leave with anybody else. I thought that was amazing. We all enjoyed the food. Not terribly priced, but still pretty delicious (for a kids pizza/play joint). The games that were specifically for smaller children. The staff is amazing. I thought someone refilled my drink and drank off of it, so they gave me another cup no problem. The machine ate our tickets and didn't count them, so they told us to tell them that so and so said to add 100 on to our total. Then we tell them and our total was like 970 and she said so you have 1000. The last thing my son wanted was 50 more tickets than he had left and they let him get it. Another thing - the manager was out and about testing every game throughout the time we were there to make sure they all were in working condition and if they weren't, guess what? They actually got fixed! We spent four hours there, spending $50 on the largest amount of "tokens" for our play pass and it was more than enough. Worst one I have been too. Most of the tables were not cleaned off. 3 0ut 5 the ticket redeem machines were out of order. The Mascot came out of the kitchen and only stood right there and waived. Did not walk around at all. After waiting for an hour wr got a glimpse of him as he dissapeared again after after only five minutes in the restaurant. Will go some where else next time. read more

Today we celebrated my son's 4th birthday at this location with their top level package, and it was awesome. We didn't have to do a damn thing except show up! Shout out to our party host Lisa, who was fantastic, and the customer service in general was top notch. Everything is clean and in good repair (even the bathrooms!), the food quite good for the kind of place it is, and all the kids had a blast. With the top package, too, no one had to worry about running out of game credits for the entire party, which made things much easier on everyone. The only thing to do was have fun. So seriously, parents - if it's within your budget, stop looking around and just have your 4-8 year old's birthday party HERE. It really doesn't get any better than this for that age range! If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! We celebrated our twin boys' 3rd birthday here today, and our hostess Kayla was very accommodating and thoughtful. For example, our boys shared a birthday cake, so she put three candles on each end, so that each boy could blow out his own three candles. My husband and I never would have thought of that! Also, she checked in on us often and took care of everything. The party ran smoothly like a well-oiled machine, and I appreciated that we didn't have to set up for the party, nor did we have to clean up afterward. Also, despite the complaints in earlier reviews, I personally found the games to be functioning and clean. Parents, I highly recommend just throwing your kids' birthday parties here. We were able to feed 20 partygoers (including ourselves) with pizzas, cakes, and drinks, all for less than what we would have spent if we had celebrated at home. The entertainment was taken care of (the kids got to play all the games they ever wanted, and they got to meet Chuck!). You won't even have to worry about giving your little guests goodie bags, since they can use their tickets to redeem prizes and treats! All in all, we had such a fun time, and it warmed our hearts to see our boys and their little friends grinning ear to ear. read more

Chuck E's has changed a bit since my kids attended B day parties at one in Texas about ten years ago. It's brighter, has better arcade games, and the carpet is cleaner. The server was attentive and kind, the food was much better than I recall - love the new salad bar and adult choice platters. Still a bit corny for my taste, and I don't like the canned video that walks the kids through Chuck E's entrance and builds to a climax- a premature climax in the case of our party, when Chucky was found to be MIA at the key moment. Thus the kids had to watch the video a 2nd time... Our party was also raided on multiple occasions by obnoxious unattended mites who weren't even from other parties but escaped from the main (cheaper) floor- to the point where a four year old girl was inappropriately 'making out' with Chucky E effigy onstage and another girl stuck her finger all the way into my son's cake. I will say this: it was entertaining. read more

If you have a child under six bring them here. They will have a great time in the suspended play area and the video games are geared towards young children. The games are reasonable at one token per play for all the games for a price of $10.00 for 40 tokens. The food leaves much to be desired. The pizza has frozen crust with an insipid red sauce and processed cheese. The wings are right out of the supermarket freezer section. Take your kids out for lunch after playing awhile they will be so excited they will not want to eat anyway. Bring your headache tablets the noise is deafening as you would expect. If you have children, you've probably heard of Chuck E. Cheese. I've also rated the one in Methuen, MA and this local was the first Chuck E. Cheese we'd been to. Luckily I went to another later or I'd have never let my child go again. This local is dirty and depressing. Unless things have changed in the last 6 months, I'd say give this one a wide berth. read more

Chuck E. Cheese's has come so far! First.. its the only place you can go where the games are only 1 token/point, so your money goes further. The pizza is actually pretty good. And the employees at this particular Chucks are incredible. Not only do they all look like they want to be there, they're incredibly friendly, and I always see them going out of their way to make the kids' day special. I've seen them give out free tickets, randomly walk by to add an extra credit to a kid who just lost their game. I had no less than 4 different employees give me and my kids fantastic customer service today. read more

Unfortunately, a much anticipated birthday party turned into an unpleasant day. We were willing to look past the overcrowding and cold pizza but the MANY broken games, the employee named Mike that yelled at and picked a fight with another employee and the sticky surfaces on the few games that werent broken left us disappointed. 3 days later our child (who is generally exceptionally healthy) got sick and it made a crummy experience worse. I tookour older kids to the Newington location for years and never experienced any of these problems. Apparently, the mouse has not aged well. read more

Yes, 4 stars for Chuck E Cheese, but not for the pizza, consistently terrible! We have had a few birthday parties here with a dozen little bouncing-off-the-walls kiddos and it is about as easy on the adults as possible, (other than the bleeping and dinging noises and blinky-flashy lights). I love that the kids each get a cup of tokens to run around with, virtually worry-free with the facility's safety check exit system. The party host has always been great, leading the kids around, dancing with them, passing out the food, etc. The windy ticket booth that the children attending the party get to go in and attempt to grab as many tickets as they can in in whatever the time limit is...well, I am just jealous. They move the parties right along, include plenty of playtime to avoid tantrums (there is always the one kid at the party that is like a ticking time bomb), and Chuck E Cheese himself makes an appearance for the birthday boy or girl-which let me tell you, was better than Mickey Mouse when my son turned 5. In addition to the reasonably priced parties (compared to outrageously expensive bouncy house venues), there are other reasons that I enjoy coming here for my son's sake. I enjoy the salad bar-it really isn't bad for being in an arcade. The dressings do not come in a packet, and they service the station constantly. The veggies are fresh and properly chilled. They have beer for my husband. Not good beer, but unexpected beer makes him happy, especially around screaming little toddlers. A huge plus is that each game/ride is only one token. They offer many ways online or with food deals to get bonus tokens too. Even the roller coaster simulator that you lay down on and bounce around and pretend to hold on for dear life for your kid's benefit so he believes he is on a big boy ride...that one is also one token. They have a gajillion games in which you can hit a ticket jackpot-those are addicting, but somehow my son wins now and then so they are also worth the token. I like the array of photo taking machines available. I have pics of my son as a toddler in the little Chuck E Cheese mobile, and one of each offering from the ID machine- it generates a cute little card you can carry around in your wallet with themes like snowboarding and firefighting starring your kid. The sketch machine is another good one. There are also tubes to crawl in that go up to the ceiling which is a nice extra. Great for a rainy weekday with a little one when you don't have a lot of money to spend. I do miss the old days when they had the stage with all of the characters and "theatre" seats...but there aren't many places like this left that have an appealing theme to kids without costing a fortune. First time here w/ our son (Almost 3). He loved it, he absolutely loved it. It is free to get in, and since he has no interest in video games, we didn't spend $100 on tokens, he played in the toddler area and all in all we ate lunch and only had about 25 tokens or so for him. Would definitely go back until he outgrows the toddler area, then it becomes just a giant arcade, and for that I'd rather go to space center. read more

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the toy selection available for children that may have infant siblings. I try to keep small toys out of the house. There was barely anything available that wasn't too small or a bracelet for a girl. I get that they are a business and they need to make money- but they could have many different toys available (things I have seen at the dollar store) and still make a profit without leaving a small child sad at the end of the visit. This Chuck E Cheese location is not that great. We visited today, I'd say 1/3 of the machines are not working properly. Also, very stingy on tickets. There were several games that were supposed to spit out 5-10 tickets (according to the winnings) and they spit one or none. I Love This Place! Clean-Safe-And Pure Enjoyment! My little ones have such a Great time here. They have great lunch options for kiddos and adults.... The Salad Bar is very clean and fresh. The staff does a wonderful job making sure the place is spotless. The Manager Chad has always been so polite and friendly to my children. I really appreciate how he makes all his guest feel welcomed. My kids had a great time but I was disappointed in the customer service, My 5 year old threw up after too much pizza, cake, and fruit punch as she is not used to so much refined sugar, we immediately cleaned her up and gathered our things however while waiting on an Uber the manager approached us, asked us to leave and stated "their comes a time when enough is enough" my husband and I were shocked by the rude comments as in my opinion we conducted ourselves in a mature and respectful fashion. I just had my daughters birthday party here. It was wonderful. As far as children's birthday parties go, this has been the best I've ever attended. We had personalized service from the general manager, Chad, and our hostess Saundra was excellent. Both knew exactly how to cater to first time party goers as well as frequent flyers. We had a party sampler tray with buffalo windGs which were very good. The pizza (cheese and pepperoni) was cooked well and great for small children and adults. The games were all in working order and there were many to choose from. Even on a busy weekend the place was well strafed and attendant's were easy to find if needed. Was there a couple of weekends ago and had a great time .. Pleasant staff. Our cashier was wonderful and very polite. He was very patient when we couldn't figure out what we wanted.
