You'll pretty much only see adults in the management positions. We had my son's birthday party here and the birthday hostess was awesome. She was very patient with the kiddos and super nice. The pizza is normal chuck e cheese pizza. Something to put food on the kids stomachs. Parking is ample even on weekends. First let me say that Christian with the glasses(because there were two guys named Christian) He stated it was his first solo hosting and he was amazing. He checked on our party and made everything run smoothly for me.He was so sweet, caring and friendly yet professional. Dakota was amazing as well. This is our second time here in three years. We always seem to forget it's here. This recent visit we came in on a weekday in the middle of the day. It was perfect timing! Not busy at all. Plenty of space between everyone there - great social distancing. When we got to the counter, we were told to take a selfie of our party. When it's time to leave, we have to show that selfie to a staff member to be able to leave with the correct (amount of) child(ren). Although I must admit, when it came time to leave, they didn't really have enough staff at the counter. There were a couple different parties coming in and not really anyone to stop us from leaving although we did wait for a staff member to show our selfie to. If anything, I would say that this is one area in which they need to figure out a better plan to avoid any mix ups or children left behind. We purchased the hour long unlimited play and my child got to play all the games he wanted. It was a good variety of games for children. There was a smaller child section (for toddlers/preschoolers) that was next to the party area. They had rides like a small carousel and a chair that moved you in line with clock hands amongst others. There are the typical arcade and carnival games like skee-ball, hoops, down the clown and many more. Everything is spread out and great social distancing-wise. It's so much calmer here on a weekday and not so loud. It almost feels as if you have the place to yourself. There is plenty of seating (booths) all along the edges of the games area. You can eat and somewhat keep an eye on your kid(s) at the same time. In the back is where they have the stage for the gray mouse to make his appearance and all the tables lined up for the different birthday parties. We had attended a birthday party here in the past and they were pretty coordinated with all the different parties going on at the same time. Near the "party section" is the bathrooms. They kept it clean and there is a changing table attached to the wall of the women's restroom. I noticed near the little kids section is a station for you to "pause your play". Thats a great option to use for those that chose unlimited play for however many minutes. You can only pause your play once though. Great to use for restroom breaks or eating so it doesn't cut into your minutes. Near the entrance is where you can turn in your tickets for prizes. The tickets are no longer in physical form. They are now touchless tickets that are saved on your play card. There wasn't a lot of prizes to choose from but then again, this does cater to the younger crowd of children. Right next to the prize section is the salad buffet. I think this is where you also order food. We didn't eat here so I'm not entirely sure. But there seems to be only one counter for play passes and food orders. If you have a kid, they should come here at least once. It's a lot of fun for little kids and not too expensive either. So not gonna lie I was weary because of past reviews, but this place clearly has had a revamp at this location specifically. Let me say we came in for my sons 3rd birthday no res, real old school, brought our own cake, decor, and ice creams. Our son was with us cause grands brought him later so when we walked they asked about children and made sure to remind us when others arrived in our party to bring them back to get stamped. Love it safety! They were supper kind and helpful pointing us to the toddler section and told us to help ourselves to space. We also came super early 10:30am (they open at 10) on a Saturday and they weren't tripping at all. We had like literally 5-6 tables for our party. People still came to check on us several times even though we weren't a reserved party and anytime we needed anything asked for help etc everyone was kind and sincere. The food was just as good as it's always been (pizza and wings SUPERB!), but as everything these days high af! But that's expected. Game play was still pretty decent prices and the bathrooms were very well kept! I wish they had toilet seat covers, but we squatters over here anyways (but I still like them for extra peace of mind lol) def 5 stars and will go back. What happened to getting your kid's Hand stamped when you come into the establishment? We came in one night around 7 PM and no one was there to stamp a child's hand or the parent. Furthermore when we left, there was no one at the exit we could all just walk out. No one worried about checking to see if the adults that were leaving with the children were the appropriate person. This location is better to go to during the week. On the weekend it is crowded, as expected. They have a few new video games but many dont give a lot of tickets. They have a newish unlimited games for x amount of time. Thats actually pretty cool. We ended up with over 1000 tickets and got a basketball. The salad bar is okay. The pizza is okay. Chuck E only came out once and we were there for a while. Most of the staff were pretty nice. We came on a Wednesday and it was, almost, empty with the exception of five other families. The staff, polite and attentive, friendly and kept uniforms neat. Usually I am apprehensive about Chuck E Cheese and reserve my arcade visits for birthday parties, but this was an impressive facility! I waited a full 10 days post-opening to bring my excited young boys and (my even more stoked) big guy to Pearland's new CEC. Spacious and well-staffed, but it's also quite busy for a small suburb like Pearland. So here's what makes it so entertaining... In the back/birthday area, you'll have 6-8 very long tables plus the show/stage area. Moving forward is a tiny tot spot with a mini slide and mini rides surrounded by both soft benches and mini-booths to sort-of keep your little ones contained. Elevated over that area is the (nerve-wrecking) tunnel system. Arcades for bigger toddlers to score tickets are a few yards away from the tiny tot spot and include never-me-seen virtual bowling, carriage-riding, and a horse-riding simulation. In the front/main arcade area you'll spot ginormous kids playing skee-ball alongside basketball, baseball and games. Much more to choose from at the universal CEC price of one token! Some of these amusements are neat enough to marvel without paying the measly token to activate lights and sounds! There is pretty good visibility but rows of booths help anchor the areas quite well. The ticket counters are multi-user shaped so lines should be minimal when you're ready to print a ticket receipt. Even more exciting was that Chuck E came out to greet the kids and toss tickets in the air. Our food service was ample...probably 10 minutes for a pizza and the salad bar was well-stocked. Several times during our meal people came to clear our trash. They keep the tables clean and ready. As cynical as I usually am with CECs - This was worth all five stars! Went for my nieces (twins) and nephew's birthday party. Imagine trying to throw a party for twins girls turning 5 and one boy turning 7. We had reservations in the back birthday area where we had a giant long table all set up for the kids, several balloons and fun plates and cups. I don't know if our table location was picked by my sister or random but we had the last table to the left which was next to a wall of booths (perfect for the parents and other adults to sit and put their giant kid bags). You are given some time at the beginning to go and play games. Every kid gets a small paper cup full of tokens. I headed off to the "game" area with one of the kids (we each took one to monitor and watch) and quickly found myself wanting to play some of the games!! I had to ask my sister for some coins, LOL!! She was only turning 5 but wanted to play all the big kid games. I have some video of her shooting baskets...she was great!! After some game time, you are called back to the birthday area for pizza and the Show. You have a person that is "assigned" to your table/party and although I don't remember her name (wish I did) she was EXCELLENT!!! She announces the birthday at your table for everyone and since we had three, she did it individually for each kid and everyone sings happy birthday. She cut up the birthday cake for all the kids, she basically did everything. You could have just sat back and not done anything as a parent. She then took the birthday kids into this clear booth where tickets start flying all around and the kids have to catch them. All three kids did great. Otherwise, it becomes quite ghetto in terms of both kids and adults. We decided to have our son's 3rd birthday party here and I'm so glad we did! I must say that I was very impressed with the reasonable pricing and all the perks that the kiddos got with the mega package that we bought. It included up to 2hrs playtime for the kiddos (& parents lol), 2 pizzas, cake, goodie bags, & ice cream. And the food was surprisingly good! Although the server forgot to serve the ice cream, we didn't care bc they were full of sugar from the cake so it was all good. The table decorations are a bit on the minimally plain side so I opted to bring in my own table decorations for the party & was allowed to come 30 mins before the party started to set it all up. It was just enough time and everyone (including the adults) raved about how great of a time they had and how everything turned out nice. We had a wonderful host (Joseline) and she kept everything running smoothly while we focused on showing our son & kiddo a great time. Ok...so this was my first time at this Chuck E Cheese to celebrate our son turning one...not sure if I'll be going back... We absolutely love Chuck E Cheese...however this one has a few things that concern me. It may be because we were there on a Thursday, maybe because we were there late (around 7:30-9), or maybe not. Maybe this is just how they are at this location. 1. They were VERY understaffed. I think there may have been a TOTAL (including a guy walking around that seemed like the manager and the guy walking around cleaning) of five people working. So that meant we had to wait a long time for everything. I saw people waiting at the main cashiers area for at least 7 minutes before even being greeted. An employee (wasn't wearing a name tag) did go behind the counter when another lady and myself were waiting, I thought she would've asked had we been helped or even said SOMETHING but nope. The only reason why I knew she was an employee was because she was wearing a walkie and head phone set. I was being helped (she was going to get my cake that I had purchased and never received) but she didn't communicate that to the lady that walked up to place an order. As a matter of fact, she didn't say ANYTHING to the lady. When she walked up, the cashier looked at her, then walked off. I informed the lady that she was going to get my cake. When I did receive my cake, she told me that they could write on it the names of my kids that we we're celebrating...when she gave it to me, it only had a Happy Birthday plastic decor on it...not even any candles. Saying "oh, they said they can't do it because they don't have the thingie to do it"...had I known that I would have not purchased the cake...but since I had already waited so long for it and they were about to close, I took it. 2. Some people were coming in with children but without being stamped. We came in and were stamped, but just like everyone else, we were not checked for matching stamps to leave. Now THIS I have NEVER seen at any Chuck E Cheese I have ever been to...and I also have a 15 year old so I've been going for a long time. Totally unacceptable. 3. It was not very clean. I'm sure because of the lack of workers there, it may not have been possible...but there didn't even seem to be any effort neither. The salad bar was a mess and had a slight odor...making the food on it less appealing. I think the max age to work here was 16 because all the workers appeared to be kids, except for the man that I'm thinking was the manager on duty. With that being said, we all know that kids/younger people need a little more help being good workers than probably an adult would. They probably all need a good hearty training in multitasking and urgency. Overall, I gave this one two stars because this was suppose to be special for my son's birthday. The employee said they could write on the cake, then didn't and didn't apologize for her mistake. Secondly, there was no implementation of the security system that is policy for all Chuck E Cheeses and it just wasn't the best experience for us. My daughter decided she wanted a party at this location and we have been to numerous birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese before so I figure ok, this location was not a great location. We pretty much had to tell our hostess how to run our party and waited way too long for our guests pizza and the extra pizzas that were ordered. Had to ask numerous times for refills, for straws for even essentials. If I am paying to have party here I shouldn't have to ask for anything I thought that was the point of having a hostess?
